2 meat platter - lean brisket and turkey

Clean restaurant, delicious food, and extremely polite and helpful staff. We always love coming to Mission BBQ and opted to try this location. Plenty of parking and we were immediately greeted. The food can be a bit pricey but they have consistent quality every time. Our food was ready quickly and we were able to get a box and sauce to go for leftovers. A friendly employee also came by to clear our trays when we were done. Great atmosphere and good food.

For once I didn't get my usual smoke meat's because I saw the black plate special was a smoked Hawaiian seasoned ribeye with a Hawaiian teriyaki glaze, OMG what the a great sounding dish that comes with corn bread and side of the glaze for dipping. The corn bread is always excellent, moist with real corn in it. The ribeye was super tender melt in your mouth to my surprise with a nice seasoned smokey flavor. I was skeptical about the glaze dipping sauce so I tasted it on its own and it moves from sweet and finishes with a mellow heat which was surprisingly good that takes a few seconds to transform on your palate. Overall the black plate smoked ribeye special was surprisingly good for a chain restaurant with fresh quality and taste. On a side note the staff and service was super friendly and a total opposite of the restaurant I walked out of before I came here.

The specials of the season, the ribeye, and the peach cobbler are excellent! The service is always good, and the atmosphere provided by Mission couldn't be better.

First time visiting this place and have to say the staff and service was amazing. They are super friendly and patient with new customers. Corn bread is sweet and fluffy. Ribs were juicy and tender.

This was our first try, and we are looking forward to the next. I placed an order online and picked up inside. The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. I appreciate the fact that the workers show you everything you order before packing up and bagging. The St Louis style ribs were our favorite. Fall off the bone and flavorful. Brisket and jalapeno sausage were also delicious. I would order these without hesitation. The cheesey potatoes were my absolute favorite. Creamy and sharp. The Mac n cheese lacked flavor, and the green beans were a miss for us.

Every aspect of the Smoked Cue'ban was clearly made with care and arranged intentionally, which is way beyond what I'd expect from a quick sandwich for lunch. The bread was perfectly toasted, the pulled pork was stacked high and piled on neatly, the pickles maintained some crunch and weren't soggy, the Swiss was melty and cheese-pull ready, the fries were fresh... I was even approached to check on how the meal was. I don't think you'll find a better BBQ restaurant anywhere around here. Fantastic meal and very high quality, I'd order this for catering sometime too.

Food: They have a really large selection of items. It's all posted on the wall next to the counter. You can get sandwiches, sides, or meats by the lb to go. Lot of excellent options. They offer a selection of beverages, including cans of beer, from a cooler. We decided on a couple of sandwiches. I got the Pork Belly with a side of Bourbon Mashed Potatoes, and she got the Chopped Brisket with the Dill Pickle Potato Salad. I had them toast my bun. Didn't take long before it all came out. Good temperatures, excellent flavors, and good size portions. They have 4 different sauces at the tables, and there are even more at their sauce bar. My food was awesome! The pork belly had nice slick slices, good ribbons of fat, and melt in your mouth tender. The mashed potatoes were sweet, and creamy, with a little chunkiness. Bun was toasted nicely, but a grilled option would make it even better. Tried most of the sauces, and found a couple that I really liked, the Gold Tang and Alabama White. My wife's experience was not as good mine was. Her's was the chopped brisket. Some of the meat was excellent, but there was enough dry pieces that you really needed to have sauce. A bit disappointing. The potato salad was very good. Very fresh, with good picklet flavor. Service: The folks that took care of us were all super friendly and helpful. Got some needed help with ordering, and advice on the sauces to try. Even stopped by during the meal to check on us. Atmosphere: The place is small, but they have comfortable seating for different size groups. It' has a casual barbecue feel to it. There were several other small groups there, and the noise level was good, easy to have comfortable conversations. The selection of sauces on the table, and the sauce bar are easy to figure out and use. Might be helpful to have small plastic cups by the bar for self service. Enjoyed most of the meal. Not sure if it was an off-day for the chopped brisket. I would definitely stop again and get the same meal. Lots to like about this place.

Plenty of space for parking in the back. Dark, smoky atmosphere with Asian interior designs. Perfect ambiance for BBQ! We had both Korean BBQ & hot pot, absolutely worth the price for both. The BBQ was by far everyone's favorite. We recommend the beef bulgogi, beef short ribs, and pork belly--these were the best for BBQ. Since it was all you can eat, we had a few servings of them. There was also a counter for different types of sauce one could get and a dessert section. The hot pot was great as well. We recommend the bone broth and the fish/shrimp/meatballs with it as well as udon noodles. The service was great overall. Our server was busy, but she managed to be attentive with us. We left with our belly full. We will absolutely come back.

We ordered the bulgogi, steak cubes, pork belly, spicy pork belly, beef tongue, rib meat, shrimp, creamy corn, fried buns, and a few other smaller items. The meat was all good quality! Our tables' favorite meat was the bulgogi for sure. We also loved the creamy corn and fried buns. However, beef tongue was so tough though I couldn't even bite into it (but honestly wasn't expecting to enjoy it!). The sauce bar was a fun touch to get exactly what we each liked. It was a little tricky being in a booth and getting people out to make their sauce combos though but we made it work. There is also a dessert bar but nothing was super intriguing to us and we were pretty full from the meal. The only downside was the service. Other servers seemed awesome but our waitress was totally aloof. She missed multiple orders of ours and we had to reorder those, and she acted super confused each time we had to tell her. She didn't give any direction on the process, and each time we wanted to add to the order we had to wave her down. I don't think she proactively checked on us once. A table nearby had the hotpot and that looked really good. We were intrigued and want to come back and try it. All in all, a great experience, and $31 per person for the amount of food you can rack up felt like a really good deal.

Well I'm definitely doing the rib tips but it was too early because they just went on the grill, see my pictures so I would have to stop back later in the day. 3 hours went by so I went back and asked if he still had some rib tips left and he said yes so I'm down with that. He is there Tuesday to Saturday 10:30 to 4pm he says. The rib tips looked amazing on the grill and I took a picture so you could see the before and after pictures of the cooked rib rips. I ordered the meat only for $10 because the sides didn't interest at all and did my car smell so good so I pulled over because I couldn't wait to try them. The rib tips had a nice looking bark that was seasoned nicely and tasty I thought. The rib meat had that little chew that I like because I don't like the mush fall off the bone meat. The rib tips were meaty and not all cartilage with most of the meat chopped off like some places. The meat was very tasty with that bark and a deep grilled flavor that I really liked, like a backyard bbq. I really like that he uses charcoal to cook his food because it's so hard to find places that cook with charcoal anymore and he seems like a like a really nice guy and he let me take my pictures which helps his business. I didn't even use the bbq sauce because the meat stands on its own by the way. There is no bbq in the immediate area that I can think of so this is a nice addition to the neighborhood if your looking for some tasty rib tips here you go. I would definitely go back for some rib tips again because as much as I like ribs I do like doing tips from time to time.

Came on a Monday night with a friend. Food: Really like the menu. Lots of diversity to choose from, and the prices are reasonable. We started with a couple of specialty cocktails. I had the Sazerac, and my friend had the OG Old Fashioned. Both were well made, and there was plenty of alcohol in each. For an appetizer, we got the Frogs on the Mound, which, as you can imagine, is 1/2 lb of frog legs on haystack onion rings. I haven't had frog legs in a while, and I thought these were very good. The breading was light, well seasoned, and not overcooked. The haystack onion rings were just okay. They could have been hotter and maybe seasoned (or just salted) a bit more. For our entrees, I got the Blackened Catfish, and he got the Grouper Tacos. Both of these meals were also very good. The blackened fish was the best part of my meal. It was excellently seasoned, cooked to the right temperature, and moist and flaky. Delicious! The collard greens were good, but would have been better with just a bit more pork. More pork is always better. The rice and beans were good too, but the temperature was less than hot. My friend enjoyed his Grouper Tacos, and the bite he shared with me was very good, except for the green peppers. I much prefer orange or yellow peppers, but I realize that's a personal taste issue. The tacos tasted fresh, the fish was tender, and the portions were good. Service: The place was about a quarter full. Even though we weren't in a hurry, the service got off to a bit of a slow start. After getting waters and menus, it took a while for our server to get back to us. I started to worry that this might be an issue for the rest of the evening, so I made a point of getting their attention. After that, things went smoothly. After ordering appetizers and entrees, the food came out in a timely fashion. All the staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly. Thanks, Sarah 1 and Sarah 2 :) Atmosphere: Besides the separate bar area, the dining room is a big open space with lots of four-top tables spread around. Around the walls there are posters, art pieces, and plenty of Mardi Gras beads. I wasn't sure at the time, but there was something a bit cramped about the interior. After looking at the pictures, I think it might have to do with the low, tiled ceiling. (I think this is the first time I have ever mentioned something about a tiled ceiling.) On this night, it was quiet and easy to have a comfortable conversation. Glad that we finally stopped in for a meal. With the exception of the initial service delay and some small issues with a couple of food items, it was a very good meal. Would definitely want to stop back again to try other parts of the menu.
