Instead, I had to go onto his website and schedule there. I went to the website and made an appointment. I was at the property 30 minutes prior to the schedule appointment time (window of 3pm to 4pm). I waited until about 3:15pm, still no word from the contractor. I went out front to see if maybe he had went too far down the block or something. No one in sight. I took a few minutes to run to the restroom. After the restroom, I noticed I missed the contractor's call by three minutes. I rang back expecting him to answer and explain that he was on his way or had arrived. Instead, it went to his voicemail. A few minutes later, I received a string of text messages from the contractor accusing me of missing the appointment, wasting his time, costing him gas money, and making him late for other appointments. Apparently, my stepping into the restroom for three minutes was out of the question. What kind of contactor works like this? I took time out of my day to meet this contractor as well. I guess my time as a client is not valuable to him in any way? He claims he waited for 20 minutes, but that is not at all true. I went outside searching for him and he had not arrived. Furthermore, why would he wait outside for 20 minutes and not attempt to call the contact number? When he finally did call, I only missed the call by three minutes. When I mentioned that I would be reviewing my experience, he only went on a further threatening tirade about he planned to comment back on my review about how much of his time I wasted. Ummm, you were not at the property when I checked at 3:15pm. I went to the restroom for a few minutes, I missed a call by three minutes, and then you refused to answer. If three minutes is unacceptable, it sounds as though you have some scheduling issues. Anyhow, DO NOT hire this contractor. He is terribly impatient, rude, and does not value your time as the hiring client.

I hired Imperial Remodels to build a single-car garage on my property, replacing an existing concrete pad. The project was contracted to start on March 1, 2024, and finish by April 1, 2024, for $21,000. I paid a $10,000 cash deposit on March 13, 2024, but the contractor did not provide a receipt for the cash deposit. After signing the contract and accepting my deposit, the contractor told me someone would begin removing the concrete pad within about a week. Shortly after, someone arrived with an excavator, destroyed, and removed the concrete pad. They left behind an uneven dirt surface, which has created a serious safety hazard for me. Due to mobility issues, I now struggle to safely get in and out of my car. Despite repeated attempts to contact the contractor to discuss next steps and complete the work, he has ignored all my calls and messages. On one occasion, he agreed to visit my property to discuss the project but canceled the meeting and never followed up. My daughter attempted to help me by posting a review on their business page to warn others. In response, the business owner finally reached out, acknowledged their wrongdoing, and agreed to reimburse me the full deposit plus interest. However, they got Yelp to remove my daughter's post and are unreachable again. They have still not provided any reimbursement for the lost money or the destruction of my property. I was primarily in contact with Mike Isak (206-909-8125), but his colleague, Karina Momotyuk, was also involved. Another phone number associated with them is (253-409-6956). As a result, I am out my $10,000 deposit, unable to safely park my car, and left with no resolution. He has abandoned this job, caused destruction of my property, and has a complete lack of remorse or professionalism--particularly in taking advantage of someone in my position. They are the contractor with all the trades who are subsidiaries to them. They worked with us to design our entire project and build to what was designed. As we started talking to People Come First originally, Denny our salesman, was a huge help in coordinating our project kick-off and helping us keep the design within reason and had a great personality during the entire process. The communication was great and the workers doing the work were meticulous in building to "MAKE IT RIGHT" or "DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME". Jack and Edwin were the main builders of the structures and hardware installation. When Christian filled in, he continued the expert workmanship for not working 100% on the project. All of these guys are responsible for the workmanship in the pictures. They continued to work with us when unforeseen issues arose so we could resolve them immediately. Having a project manager there really helped for us to understand why things had to be a certain way and, in the end, it made it safe and built right. Thank You Mario for being there to keep the project moving forward. During the construction phase we had various inspection signoffs required by the City and every inspection passed with Zero rework or corrections. In fact, the inspectors stated during the various inspections how much quality they were seeing in the work; this included the electrical. The electrical guys, Don and Ace had to run over 80 feet of a 125A line from the original circuit breaker for our heaters, outlets, light and fans. They also corrected the original wiring for my outdoor lights and fountain that was installed. All these items passed inspection with no findings from the Inspectors. What about the Costs? We had multiple change orders because of upgrades we decided to include so we increased the original cost by about 35%. It wasn't cheap, but if you are only looking to spend $50K-80K for a complete area that is 22x16 you will get what you pay for in the long run. The materials they used were also quality. They did not get any of the wood or structural hardware from HD or Lowz. It was delivered by a reputable small company here in my area and who most locals go, to get quality wood and beams. I would recommend them to anyone, but if you are looking to save money, then they are probably not your first choice. If you want a no hassle company that provides workmanship and cares about the outcome and reputation, then have People Come First (PCF) build your dream deck. They also have a model set-up in Kent off Central if you want to see what they do, or you can see some of my pictures of their work. To end, the best part is the 5 Year Warrantee of their work and continued communication on our Project.

We contacted Chaz and Jeannette after both the contractor and flood mitigation companies recommended by our insurance company dropped the ball. Titaan came in and fixed the mess left by those companies and the pipe leak. They refloored our entire bottom level, remodeled the bathroom, had custom stair treads made, and stayed in touch with our insurance company. Most importantly, they finished the job before our Christmas Eve party. I almost wish we could have another pipe leak so we could have them back to remodel another bathroom. Seriously, they do great work. At the very least, call them out for an estimate. They have excellent communication as well, we knew what was happening at every phase of the project.
