We were quoted between $500-$600 which included about $100 to drop my gas tank. My mechanic who inspected my truck stated that the work was terribly done and that they never dropped my tank to fix the frame properly like they were supposed to. We paid close to $600. Our mechanic and ourselves tried multiple times to contact the owner, but we were all unable to get a hold of him. He doesn't answer the phone! My husband drove my truck back to Summit and talked with the owner about the mediocre work that had been done to my truck and what my mechanic said to him. The owner wondered what the issue was with his work and stated that the welding was done properly. He admitted that he didn't have to drop the tank when questioned about the price that we paid for the work that was supposed to be done. He then became very irritated when my husband informed him that he was a welder and knew how it was supposed to look when done correctly. He told my husband that he should have welded it himself and stormed away.
