Presque Isle Auto gave a very reasonable quote and so I decided to go with them. I was easily able to make an appointment that fit my schedule (and the schedule of the person who had to pick me up and drop me off while my car was there). I dropped the car off at about 830am and the repairs were done by 1pm. The car was washed inside and out, and the repair looked great. I have attached photos of before and after to compare. It looks like the original window and if you didn't know it was a replacement, you could never tell. All around very happy with the service and obvious care Presque Isle Auto has for the customer. Bought the dream car and owned it less than a month when the SAME THING happened -- distracted driver smashed the new car while it was parked in front of my house. I took the car to Platinum, where Eric fixed it to perfection. The car is metallic orange (Nissan's "monarch orange" paint) and I was worried that the paint wouldn't match exactly -- but the finished body work was EXCELLENT and the paint job is flawless! The car had been damaged once before I bought it, so Eric not onlyrepaired the "mistakes" the former mechanics had made, but restored my car to "like new" condition. Attempted Insurance Fraud on august 28 2018 i had the…read moremisfortune of encountering a bonnell's chevy pick up truck driven by employee edward taylor. he brainlessly ran through a stop sign and into the front end of my jeep wrangler. upon pulling over he immediately became hostile and claimed i "rear ended" him. this is the same story he later falsely told our insurance companies. fortunately for me, due to the type of damage (it was not to the "rear" of the truck), it was evident to the insurance companies that i did not rear end him. he was subsequently found 100% at fault for the accident. later my insurance agent relayed to me that shop manager Jodi was quick to verbally harass her over the phone after he found out their insurance would be accepting fault. these employees were not only profoundly unprofessional in their demeanors, they were blatant liars. i hope to never again have the misfortune of interacting with bonnells or any of their incompetent, dishonest employees
