Excellent service both times I've been in over the past year. The prices are reasonable -- I paid about $50 after tax for the Platinum Best package, which included a full-service wash, wax, and a really thorough interior cleaning. I did the Gold package last time (around $30), and that was also great. The work was detailed & consistent, and the car looked great inside and out. After trying a bunch of car washes in Brooklyn, this is now my go-to spot, even though I live in Bay Ridge and it's not super close. The quality makes it worth the trip. Not a great car wash. For $50 I expected to not have to walk around the car and point out all the dirt they missed that can easily be wiped off. It was maybe worth $20. I think what's worse is they left all the soap on my rubber mats that got on my clutch and gas and made it extremely dangerous to drive. They also either forgot to engage my e brake or didn't engage it all the way on a manual because my jeep started rolling backwards and almost into the car behind me. My door was open and got caught on a concrete pillar bending the hinges of my door backwards past the point they are meant to go. The staff is entirely unhelpful and unprofessional and often leaves dirt under the seats of the cars after completing a job. I took my car to Platinum Car Wash at 337 7th ave. Tuesday evening 7/22/25. They failed to put my car mats back in my 2015 Lexus RX350. I called Thursday midday to report this and was told I could come pick up my mats. I picked up "NOT MY MATS" on Friday. I thought it odd when the worker brought mats to my car, lays them in passenger side floor and walks away, all the while the manager is peering in passenger side window apologizing profusely for the error. When I get home, I attempted to put the mats in, they are dark grey not black, however they fit and LEXUS RX is imprinted on them BUT they are not my manufacturer's original car mats that were in my car when I drove into car wash. I returned to the car wash and the manager "doesn't know" have no idea, no, no one else has said they have the wrong mats, etc. SOME SWITCHERO HAPPENED! Either an error or deliberate. My mats were original to the car and in excellent condition. These mats, not so. Were my mats put into the wrong car and these were left? OR... Needless to say, I'm thoroughly disappointed with the response from Platinum Car Wash. read more

My car needed a wash after all the snow storms. I have been to this car wash in the past and found them to be lacking in their cleaning effort. Today I decided to give them another try since it looked like it's under new ownership. There was dirt around the bottom part of my car and I saw the guys use the brush GENTLY on those areas so the dirt stayed on. When my car was out to be wiped down. I showed the someone where the dirt remained and they just shrugged like "it is what it is" so I drove it home and cleaned the dirt off myself. What is the point of a car wash if they don't want to clean it 100%? Please put effort into brushing off the dirt, please! read more

I paid for a exterior car wash with wax detail and in the beginning it started to look good then I noticed the guy only did half a job. He detailed from half the door up. He should of did the bottom half of the car that's where you get most harsh damage and the hood and front/back bumper. And it would be nice if they did the rims as well I hate going to a car wash then you still have dirty rims especially when the car is black and you. noticed everything. Went for a basic car wash, asked for my mats to be washed... ended up with a horrible smell on the mats of old cheese mixed with feet odor coming off the mats that I had to go get them rewashed at another car wash because the smell was so strong! It helped but the smell was still in the car that had to perfume the car and crack the window for a few days. Paid $45 for platinum wash and got my car back barely washed. Exterior was in stains and visibly not touched, though it should be polished and triple waxed. Mats are barely cleaned and not washed. Poorly vacuumed, cup holders not even touched. Tried to complain to manager, but he was barely speaking English so i gave up. Tried to get the Silver wash. Guy at the entrance told me only the "Platinum Best" will clean my car, conveniently double the price of Silver. My car had some sticky pollen on it, nothing this car wash hasn't taken care of before. I refused the upsell, said I wanted Silver and he told me he wouldn't do it, so I had to leave. They did a good job on the outside but when finished the passenger seat was still covered with crumbs. I pointed this out and they cleaned it up. When I got home I lifted the back door of my Rogue and saw all the leaves and sand from a long summer still there! I should have taken a picture but I just dustbustered it myself. They did a nice job with the car, the line was not long and the service was fast, the only problem for me is that the people in the cafeteria, where you go to pay were not wearing masks.
