I used to go to Sparkle and Shine but the new owners turned those into . Several people recommended this place and it will now be my main car wash place. A bit different from Sparkle as you drive it through the automated part first then hand it off to the guys for the final detailing. They are still very understaffed as so many businesses are but they got the job done. My C7 corvette fit without any scraping of the undercarriage. I do always put it in weather mode to lift it a bit rather than track mode that will lower it. I have seen that several other performances car owners have used this location so if they can fit I knew I would be safe. The place does need a cleaning itself out side and some fresh paint to look better. I realize that is cosmetic but I have always found the look of a place impacts the attitude of staff. read more

I spend more than $30 and this is what I got. They didn't vacuum everything, my seats and doors were still dirty. Yet it took them nearly 30 min. I honestly thought "Wow they are taking so long, must be doing a really good job." Nope. When the worker opened my door he quickly said "Oh let me get that for you", seeing dirt on the floor that hadn't been vacuumed, I had a toddler with me so I didn't have time to fine tooth it, but I shouldn't have to. I can do down the road to the next car wash and self vacuum for $8. The proof is in the pictures. Unfortunately they are the only full service car wash around and they know it, so the prices have increased but the service has not. read more

Scammers, they tack on huge fees to your wash, and you don't realize it until you get your credit card bill because they don't give you a receipt, nice scam. Car wash was poor at best, and highly overpriced. There was no customers there, I should have known instead of trying them out. read more

Probably the best car wash (interior & exterior) that I've ever received. $42.69 after tax and you're practically in a brand new car! The total time was roughly 30 minutes (they weren't too busy). Used to go here all the time and they did a great job. They advertise opening at 8 am on Saturdays, but I have been a couple of times on Saturday morning and sit there until about 8:30 with no one in sight. Went today, a Sunday, supposed to open at 9 am. Got there around 9:15 and still not open although there was a car sitting there and a couple of guys walking around. I pulled across the street and one of the guys saw me staring at them and came over, and I asked, are you open? He said yea, in about 10 minutes. I got a cup of coffee and set there for a while longer. They finally opened, I was the first to come in. I was told to go into the office, which is a little room with a Kerig and water cooler with no coffee, and a calendar from 2019 on the wall. Never did start the actual car wash, but they did wash it by hand and cleaned the interior, Took an hour. This place has went WAY downhill. Got to find another place to get the car washed from now on. I would NOT recommend this place, especially if you are in a hurry. read more

I went here to have my interior cleaned, windows, vinyl, vacuum. Bought the IV package for $45 and chose to leave a cash tip. The wait was ok and got to the washing drive thru track within 15 minutes.I was now going to the other part that does the handiwork. I could wait by the 2 sad little tables out in the sun by the drive thru exit or go "relax in the lounge". Being new and gullible, I gathered up my goods and went to the dank and dingy world of the last cup of cold coffee.no vending machine or TV and just old filthy magazines. I waited outside for an hour, feeling good because so much time has gone by and the attendant was busy. I offered to up my tip and allowed them to set a charge on my credit card for 30%. Another hour had passed and they had my car ready. Upon inspection, oh how I wish I took pics, l point out that it looked good except for the dirt on the back liftgate's vinyl interior.the splash marks are still there. STEVE,the manager said that isn't included in the VI package but for just $15 more, they could do it.WTF?? Then he had the nerve to tell me my car was very dirty. I was so excited to get my car a wash/wax and cleaned out since my old place changed hands. I told the gentleman it was my first time there and he smiled and asked what I wanted. I asked if I sat in the car for the drive through. He said yes. I then told him that when my car was done with wash and wax (emphasizing the wax), that I wanted everything done inside - clean the dash, doors, windows, take the floor mats out, vacuum- "the works"- my exact words. What I got was a wash and floor mat wash. I literally had to clean the dash, wipe the back hatch trim and when I looked at the back of the car, there was dirt and mud coming out of the bottom reflector! Wow. The interior doors and dash were not done. There was dirt and hair between the seats and the doors. It didn't look vacuumed at all. There was some trash items I left under the seat and they were still there. The door handle wells were dirty, and one had a Kleenex in it. I don't have the tools to do it at home and at my age, don't want to go to a self-serve. When I told one of the guys my concerns, he said you got a basic package, and we don't do those things with a basic package. Then he tried to blame it on me saying I didn't use the exact words - "premium", "manager's special", whatever they call it. To me, I WANT THE WORKS, means give me the most expensive and all-inclusive package you have. Well.....off to another place to get the job done. Needless to say, I will not return here nor suggest it to anyone. I'll wait for a new place to come to Ormond or drive to Port Orange next time. read more

I'm not from the area but my car desperately needed a detail job after buying it a few weeks ago. The clear coat was thinned out and my paint desperately needed protection. These guys were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They were completely honest with the reality of my situation and didn't try to sugar coat things which was nice to see. Quick and easy which is a must with kids crying in the car. I will definitely be back every month! Updated review 11/2017. So the luster of this place is dulled. No more $2 discount and the quality of their wash is not spectacular anymore. Missed spots but still gonna go sometimes when I'm near by. What a great place to do business with. I take my yellow Mustang in there regularly and they have always done a great job. It's as if it looks even more yellow when I leave there, if that was even possible. I usually get the $20 wash and give them another $5 tip. For $25 they do a job worth $50. They always do the door jambs and open the trunk and do around the inside of it. Occasionally I've asked them to vacuum the trunk and they happily do it. The Mustang has a lot of crevices that can easily get missed by an automatic car wash but they take the extra time to get all those hard to reach places. They are human and once in a while they might miss a spot. But I bring it to their attention and they fix it with a smile. My only caution would be to be careful when making a right turn at the stop sign when leaving. I think the years of tire shine have made the pavement slippery. I've gotten sideways frequently there. Ha! The only thing I can find wrong is that they do too good of a job!!! Either that or I'm a little heavy footed... read more

Under staffed. If you want a quick car wash then this is the place for you but if you want detailing or extra services I don't recommend it. It appeared to me these guys are after the quick buck the detailing services the last two times I have been there has been sub par. Today they were jamming in the $6 washes as fast as the conveyer belt could hold it, in fact the conveyer belt broke. There were only 4 guys working & two were smoking vape cigarettes. The people that were dropping 75 or 100 for waxing were left to sit & wait & the small team would do what they could between other customer washes, they would forget where they left off on the wax jobs, very disorganized. Friends would stop honk and chat while customers sat and waited. I live close by, its a shame I am going to have to drive further to find another car detailing service. read more

Wow have they gone downhill. Risk damage to your vehicle, if you notice they have to push your vehicle through sometimes. The owner said its the landlords fault for not repairing his equipment that's he says is ancient. Last time my hood had those car wash swirls in the clear coat. I had to take to professional detailer to buff out and he told me it was from the car wash. The owner said he doesn't make money unless its a full detail, he has turned us away mid afternoon for a regular wash as his detail customers are priority. The tall skinny manager with the goatee seems to always have an attitude and has been so rude almost combative to myself and a neighbor, so we decided to finally right a review. I am all about supporting small business but between questionable equipment, rude manager and high prices we are done with Platinum Car Wash. I noticed their star rating is from facebook reviews, which negative reviews can be deleted, pretty clever. read more

My wife scheduled a 9:00 detailing of her Camry for $180 (a little bit more than we have paid at other places but judging by the reviews we thought it could be worth it). We were there 5 minutes before our 9:00 appointment and waited out of the way, while a line of cars kept going in front of us. There was 1 there when we got there but at least 3 went in front of us while we waited. My wife beeped for me to get out of the way of someone going by to the convenience store, and that point the manager and up to her and became rude. Maybe he thought she was beeping at him but either way he got a real unfriendly attitude with my wife and still didn't tell her what to do with the car now that we were there for at least 10 minutes. There is not a whole lot of room at this location and where we were having to wait was the exit/entrance of the convenience store. I would think that a customer with an appointment paying $200 would at least be treated with friendly respect and common decency. There are plenty of other options in town, we will no longer come here. This was a terrible experience. read more

Whether my truck is full of dirt, dog hair, or a bunch of junk, these guys always make it look like it's brand new at an affordable price. I especially love that even if I just wash the outside, they do a towel dry, too. A lot better deal than other car washes in the area (you always end up with water spots if you don't towel dry).
