I was ASSURED that my things would be safe until the agreed time that I could come in to pay the approx $40 interest, this was going to be an extra 10 days.But to my disgust, my items that are worth nearly $700 have been taken by the owners. I am very displeased ... I would not recommend taking your valuables to this place , I needed cash so I pawned my things for a period of time, in which I always come back to get out again. I'm always good with paying my interest on time and when I can not pay my interest on time I am responsible and call and ask if it can be held off for an extra given amount of time, the employee said YES. I mean... charge me extra interest then! OR don't tell me that you can hold my things a little longer. I gave a date and time when I would be in to get my items, I call the shop on the day I am going to pick my items up and they are gone?! I was given the word of the long time employee that my things would be safe until the end of the month. And here it is... nearly $700 of my items gone. East Coast pawn shop offered me $10.00 for a wii system (when the buying price is $25.00), and the shop sells the wii system for $50.00. I went to another pawn shop, and they gave me the exact buying price as the website they use to determine prices of games or gaming systems.
