Excited to come and finally write this review. I am three weeks out from a BBL, Lipo, 360, breast augmentation, left breast, lift, and tummy tuck. I did two years worth of research before I decided to go with Dr. Costa. I had seen three doctors before him and felt that he cared the most about him, my vision, but also gave me very realistic expectations based on my body. No other doctor had noticed that I have mild scoliosis. Not afraid to say that he was tied for the most expensive. However, I go for a quality, not quantity. His price included everything but also included what I felt to be the most protection for a surgery. What do I mean by that? I mean, the 12 lymphatic massages were included for aftercare, a nurse, who comes to my house to take care of me for 12 hours after surgery. The pain medication,... In my head that's priceless. Peace of mind. The front desk ladies are absolutely jewels. They answered all my questions via phone calls or emails. The customer service and respectability is five star. Amber is a lifesaver. She makes this experience stress free. And answers all of my text messages at all hours of the night. After my surgery, I did have a few complications. It had nothing to do with my doctor but with my body. I was healing too fast in the drain on my back closed three times in one week. Dr. Costa opened it a second time and massaged it himself to relieve the pressure. Then a few days later Amber made sure to come in on her day off And help reopen it to allow drainage and comfort. Everything that she prep me for before helped in my recovery the first 21 days. She had warned that one side could be bigger than the other side and that knots would happen and that one day I'd feel 100% but the next day I could feel 10%. Always true and I felt like Platinum Plastic surgery held my hand through the first 21 days. The third person who really comes to mine, who gave outstanding service and recovery was Aleacia my lymphatic massage caregiver. Talk about a five star personality and care. Talking with her during my painful massages helped to distract me. Not only that, but it is painful, but the sense of relief after the massage and seeing the fluids drain from my body helped me mentally prepare for this transition. She helped to reassure me that everything I was doing was right, but also to remind me on ways to help the swelling in my feet go down. The foods to eat and drink. that'll help in recover as well. I am writing this review to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at this establishment, specifically regarding the actions of Alicia, the aesthetician, Andrea, the receptionist, and Amber, the manager. Initially, my experience with Alicia was positive; she appeared friendly and attentive. I consulted her about some concerning marks on my face. While she was unsure if they were melasma or pigmentation, she suggested a chemical peel. Despite my concerns, I proceeded with the treatment, during which she emphasized her desire to hear from her patients during recovery. However, after the treatment, I struggled to reach Alicia for follow-up questions. I attempted to contact her multiple times in course of almost one month both through text and phone calls to the office but received no response. When I expressed my frustration about not hearing back, Alicia claimed she had reached out but had not left a voicemail. After finally connecting, she recommended another chemical peel and microneedling, assuring me of the improvement in my skin's appearance. After this treatment, I again attempted to reach Alicia with concerns about my skin, which appeared to be worsening rather than improving. Despite my repeated attempts to contact her, I received no callbacks. When I finally spoke with Amber, the manager, who I had been told was not in the office that day by Andrea.... she unexpectedly appeared on the phone. Unfortunately, instead of offering accountability, I was met with defensiveness. Amber's dismissive attitude and lack of concern for the damage done to my skin, as well as the financial investment I made, were both frustrating and completely unprofessional. It was evident that the staff made excuses for each other when mistakes were made. I waited almost a month for a callback the first time and three weeks the second time. I was patient until I could no longer tolerate the repeated excuses and the constant promises that someone would call me back to address my concerns. **I am now left with scarring and worsening pigmentation each day that goes by, red and itchy bumps that won't go away and swelling. This could have possibly been avoided if I had received proper care and responses to my questions. I find it unacceptable that the office is responsive only when it comes to scheduling appointments or processing payments, calling nonstop to confirm appointments but failing to communicate when a patient has genuine concerns.** I believe that as a patient, I have the right to receive proper care and support, especially when dealing with potential side effects or complications from treatments. I'm considering 360 hi-def lipo and BBL, and I had my consult today with Dr. Costa. I'm a Registered Nurse that has been working in the plastic surgery and med spa field for the past 5 years. I had breast augmentation 3 years ago, and now at 40 years old (and after having a baby) I've lost the volume where I want it, and I want to add some natural looking volume back to my buttocks. I've been observing Dr. Costa's pictures on social media for the past few months, and have been very impressed with his work and how it aligns with what I desire as a patient. Dr. Costa and his team were very friendly and accommodating in answering my questions. I particularly appreciated that Dr. Costa really took his time with me, I never felt rushed at all. He's genuine and down to earth in his interactions, and I felt very comfortable during his assessment. I missed my appointment and they charged my bank $185. I made an appointment three years ago and I gave them my bank account number. That appointment never happened due to Covid. Nobody ever told me that I was going to be charged $185 for the consultation. I understand when you miss an appointment you get charged a certain fee but $185 is absolutely ridiculous. I tried to come to a happy medium and told them I'd pay $50 but that wasn't good enough. I asked them if they had a recording of them telling me how much money they were going to charge me and she didn't give me a straight answer, her name is Bailey. So I'm 26 , I haven't been to any plastic surgeons ... ever. I don't know if it's a plastic surgery thing or if it's just PPS but they treat you like vip here. Everyone is so professional, yet personable. I came in for a breast augmentation not really knowing what to expect. I am writing this review because I am really unsatisfied with the customer service of the front desk woman (Andrea). I have had my lip fillers done three times with Dr. Costa and the last time was in June of 2021. There has been some migration in the center of my lips... nothing was really ever noticeable much until the last 6 months. In the three times I have been I have never had to pay for a consultation and I was being told I would need to pay for it I'm assuming even if I didn't get anything done at that time but that wasn't really my issue here... I was being told by the front desk that fillers only last up to a year which is true to some extent but not always, I have done my research over there years and I'm not new to filler, as I am telling her that my lips have migrated in the center she then told me that it could be something else since its been a couple years... which set me off a little bit considering I know what I have had done and who I have had it done with, it was the fact that she was insinuating something other than what I was trying to explain. I asked if the Doctor could please call me as I would like to speak to him directly, but of course that was another issue after giving me some excuses as to why he couldn't call me. Had mommy makeover. Results were good except inner thighs and lower abdomen needed touch-ups. Dr. agreed to do a revision for me and that's where everything went wrong. He over-treated me and removed too much fat from lower ab and inner thighs. This left me with dents, bumps, and loose skin. He ruined his original work!! This was suppose to be a small lipo touch-up. Dr. denied my request for a partial refund and never took any responsibility. Said this was a risk of surgery. I've since consulted with revision specialists who've all expressed I was over-treated and too much fat was removed. It is now going to cost me tens of thousands to fix what this surgeon did. I will also likely need a mini tummy tuck, which I didn't need before. My lower body is absolutely ruined. read more
