My mom and I have been tanning at Platinum Sol for a little over a month now and we love it!! We even drive an additional 10 minutes further than our previous tanning salon to come here because the atmosphere is so relaxing and the tanning beds are fantastic! The whole building is kept incredibly clean and is just overall so relaxing!! Pretty much 10/10 times Sophie is there when my mom and I go and we enjoy chatting with her so much as well! I originally went by myself and Sophie sold me on their beds and the benefits, and then explained everything super easily/clearly for my mom to understand as well when I brought her with me the next time! Sophie also helped us determine which tanning package was best for us and identified some tanning lotions I might like!! Tanned here right before my wedding. The salon is clean and all of the staff were helpful and friendly. They have a browning bed and I am a sun baby and was a little skeptical of the technology behind it. Let me tell you the browning bed does what they say! I rated this place one star because I'm so unsatisfied with my 50 dollar air brush tan. I get airbrushed tanned all over the place ; California, Vegas , Miami and now AZ and this is the first time I've been disappointed ... 1. She air brushed me very unevenly 2. She did one half ass coat 3. The air brush came off literally the next day 4. Way over priced for what she recommended 5. My appointment was at 5 and I was seen at 5:20 6. They are super friendly and they even took their time to show the salon to me. They even told me about the different beds they had and the difference in how they work. They told me about the different memberships and no once did they try to pressure me to buy the membership. They were very knowledgeable also about skin care and skin types and what would be the best way to go with tanning as it has been a while since I have gone to a tanning salon. After my tanning session, they gave me a water (which they told me that they do that because staying hydrated was important) they asked me how my tanning session was and where very caring about the time you are actually in the tanning booth. Each time I have been there everyone of the staff has been super nice and workable with me. They have always given me the impression that what I say is important and that they want to make it the best experience ever. I would totally recommend them to everyone. One negative thing is that their lotion is really expensive but so far I have been impressed with the results so I guess you get what you pay for. read more

This tanning salon gives the sort of "retreat and relax" vibe I've been looking for! The staff is always so friendly and the salon itself feels like a treat every time I go in. It's also amazing that I'm paying the same price as I did at my old place, but the level of bed I'm in is better! I've been able to achieve a golden tan in darker shades than ever before. They also have auxiliary cords for your phone so you can jam to your own tunes while you tan. This is such a great business and experience. Never had a spray tan before and I was a little nervous. With the kind of luck I usually have, I was afraid I would end up like Ross from Friends. I cannot remember the girl's name (I'm sorry!!) but she was so great, friendly and showed me how to use the booth properly. Drove me nuts to not take a shower for the rest of the day and I was still nervous about being blotchy, orange, etc. But this morning, after my shower, the tan looks great! This place deserves an A+. I don't tan on a regular basis whatsoever but for an upcoming trip I wanted to get a spray tan. Right when I walked in the receptionist was extremely welcoming. I'm in customer service so it shows when someone has to be nice because it's their job versus truly enjoying their job and this woman was a breath of fresh air. She chatted with me for a minute or two which helped ease my anxiety since I'm completely out of my element in a tanning salon and it was appreciated. The woman who actually did my spray tan deserves another shout out (I wish I could remember her name!) Professional and efficient at what she does and never once did she make me feel stupid despite not having any idea what the process was like really. I don't think they're necessarily the cheapest place around but you get what you pay for and they have every right to charge what they do if their customer service is always the way it was tonight. Take my price comparison with a grain of salt though because as I said, I don't tan on a regular basis. I'll be going back to them for any future tanning needs! read more

I just signed up for a package at this location and I already know that this is by far one of the best tanning salons I have ever been too (& I have been to a lot in many different states). Not only is their equipment top of the line, but the place is very nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They really listen to your needs and do not try and up sell you packages or products which is so relieving! You even get free water handed to you as you leave the tanning bed - not just any water - water with electrolytes! You can even plug in your iPhone to listen to your own music. Oh and the PRICES?!
