After I paid, the cashier questioned the price and removed the item from my bag to check with management. While one manager acknowledged the sale was complete, another suggested I donate more money because I had received a "good deal." This happened in front of other customers and felt uncomfortable and embarrassing. Despite that, I gave the store another chance. On February 16, 2026, I selected several items with clearly marked prices, including shoes labeled $12.99 and other discounted items. At checkout, I was told the prices were incorrect and the store refused to sell the shoes at the marked prices. I ended up purchasing only some clothing and leaving. I understand that pricing mistakes can happen, especially at thrift stores. However, how those situations are handled matters. My concern is less about the error itself and more about the way I was treated when trying to purchase items at the prices displayed. As a nonprofit thrift store that serves the community, I expected clearer pricing policies and more respectful customer service. I hope the store takes steps to improve consistency and communication so future customers don't have similar experiences

The person running the shop when we visited was this extremely kind music producer. He was easy to talk to and really kind. There were several rooms filled with unique and beautiful things. I love how this store is a combo of an antique store and used record store. You can find the music in the back. We found some really pretty things. Do know this place isn't cheap, you can end up spending high prices, but there are quality pieces. I've been wanting to buy a pair of rollerskates for a long time and ran into a pair that were my size. I took that as a sign and decided to take them home with me. It's cash or check only so make sure you hit up the ATM beforehand. I scored a child size tableware pottery (butter dish, syrup pitcher, and three section server) for next to nothing. I was really there for a lampshade and small wall shelves...which I GOT! Plus six matching metal buckets. I would encourage to not bring the kiddos just so you can enjoy the hunt and not worry about what they are getting into.
