I generally like seeing the growth of businesses in the Roseville area & how the mall has changed…read moreover the years. Rosedale has a decent variety of stores, really something for everyone. Instead of a typical food court they have a food hall which has had some turnover over the last few years. There's a more ritzy side of the mall that used to have a ton of restaurants and shops that you could only access from the outside, like a strip mall connected to the mall, on the AMC side. The movie theater is also not connected to the mall but walkable. I love how they decorate during the holiday season (at least in the past). It's a decent mall to shop at if you prefer less crowded vibes.

Where I reached the Self Pick Up area; it's just a bunch of numbered slots. So it was quite easy and thankfully I didn't have to wait in line. On my way out I was able to stop in the shoe department again to rest. Thank you Kohls for having benches for people to comfortably try on shoes.

He took one out of the package and showed me, and I was amazed! They really do work! So I had to buy one for myself, of course, and one as a Christmas present for a friend. The selection of scarves, purses, shoes and jewelry... oh my! Gorgeous! Not to mention they also had dresses, shirts, skirts... I can't remember everything now. If you are looking for them, they are on the upper level of Rosedale Mall, just outside of JC Penney. I know... A vintage shop in a mall? Outside of JC Penney? Unheard of, right? But it's true! I did notice that they were diligently interactive with me after I picked up a $100 blouse- as they should be on a busy Saturday! But I really appreciated the small talk and direction from Randie, who gave me the brief on where to find everything, and the brief on the sister store Nextdoor. This store is a bit out of my way, but now knowing what they carry I definitely see myself returning here when I am feeling like I want to treat myself. As I am someone who prides in ensuring clothes don't go to landfill and trying to reuse or recycle as much as I can (I shop thrift a lot) I was very pleased to see that they take overflow items from designers. My only bummers were when I got home, the nice gentleman at the register unfortunately left one of the security tags on a sweater, leaving me to figure out how to break it off. It happens, but gosh dang! And then the same sweater had a bit of a small but obvious stain on it. And while I know it's already deeply discounted, it wasn't in the clearance section. So when I asked if they might consider anything additional on the top, he kindly explained how the store handles stuff like this and that basically there is a waiting period of it doesn't sell. Odd, but I'm sure it helps them profit, so I understand. Overall, I'll be back! What a great local spot!

I did find a cute journal that I know my friend would love but when I picked it up it had some kind of liquid on the bottom which was gross. Parking is usually pretty rough at this strip mall but they do have a back lot as well and usually a bit more luck taking that route. One of the cashiers here was taking her sweet time ringing up a customer and the vibe was very weird with her mean mugging everyone. At one point another staff member was walking up and asked her "why are you looking at me like that". So yeah, there's that.

Barbie is not a big fan. And she will continue from here: BR does not stand for Brazil, unfortunately. They have much more creative and provocative style in BR. At this BR, you can get Boring Raincoats and Banal Ruffles. If you want to look as conservative and preppy as possible, definitely come to BR. They have all the business casual attire you could want or need. We didn't talk to any staff at this location, as it was so busy.

Today after my facial, I thought I would stop into Athleta to take a look at their new fall line…read morethat I had seen in the most recent catalogue. Two stars is being generous. One and a half is for the only male employee in the store that greeted me (and then eventually helped me get a dressing room - see more below). The other half star is for the female employee in the dressing room who asked me how I was doing about ten minutes into my trying-on of several items. After said male employee greeted me, no other sales person asked if I needed help looking for anything, and there were about 6 sales people total. The store was not overly busy - I would say about 10-12 people were shopping (and being helped). Within five minutes, I had found a few pieces I was admiring from the fall look book. Five minutes later, I was still looking. At no point did any person ask, "Would you like to start a fitting room?" even though it was clear I was accumulating items. After fifteen minutes of browsing, I go to the dressing room. There are two employees (female) working the dressing room, so one would assume you would get a room within 2 minutes. Oh, and there wasn't a line. Nope. I stand there, and even peek around the corner to see where were these mysterious employees. I felt like I was in a cartoon where one character tries to look around the tree, but that character darts behind them, and never the two shall meet. After about seven minutes of waiting (I'm still the only one "in line"), the same male employee walked past me and started to go into the restroom. He caught my glance, which truthfully probably radiated a lot of annoyance, and asked if I needed a fitting room. YES. YES, I DID. He finds me one in five seconds. I go in to try my items. Now about the clothes - maybe I'm not the target demographic (after all, this is the sports section of Banana Republic and The Gap), but it seemed like every piece had something a little off about it. Pants were too long (and if you hemmed them, it would lose the shape), crops were too plain (definitely did not feel great enough to pay $80 for them). Jackets looked great on the hangers, not on my petite frame. Ten minutes into my trying on items, I hear one of the elusive female dressing room employees chirp my name - "How's it going in there?" I answer with an "ok" just for her to go away. I end up leaving with nothing. I actually was so annoyed, I forgot I wanted to buy a water belt I had seen, but frankly the customer service sucked. They have a huge stock of merchandise - much more than it seems than the Mall of America location (which by the way, has friendlier employees). I would say that's the only plus. It is in Edina, and I wondered if the fact I wasn't a white middle-aged woman with an expensive purse, sans makeup because of my facial, and dressed in yoga clothes merited me zero recognition as a customer. I've been shopping from Lululemon for years, and even on their worst days, the service is better than this location. The pricing is about the same, but the difference is that the design is much more current, and the fit just goes above and beyond Athleta. I will pay $80 for crops that make me fall in love with the color and fit, but not if they are basic. My suggestion is if you don't look like you're from Edina, go to the MOA location, or shop online. My shipment is coming in a week.

So i tried to use it at this same location 2 weeks later and the manager was extremely rude and said there was nothing she could do for me since the reward wasn't showing up on my account. She was so unhelpful and unkind about it. The other clerks were nice and helpful though. They were uncomfortable with the way the manager was handling the situation. Never returning to this location. The manager doesn't know customer service and I never got my $20 off. I had $160 worth of things so it's not like I was trying to get anything for free. I don't recommend opening an Athleta account. Update: I called Athleta's customer service asking why my reward wasn't showing up. They told me that I would receive the reward in my next 1-2 billing statements. I told her that i already paid my bill online the next day so I wouldn't be receiving a statement. She told me and I quote "oh..then you wouldn't be eligible for the $20 reward." SO what Athleta is telling me is that if you have good credit and don't let the borrowed money sit in your account and build up interest then you don't get the $20 reward. What kind of scam is this?! Done.

Several sizes, fabric types, design styles and colors to choose from with all items (shirts, pants, shorts, bras, underwear and more). The cashier was genuinely kind. Her name is Anna and she was incredibly helpful and very kind in helping it so so much. The brand often has sales and those are great options for buying and coupons as well for a great price.

To this day, I don't know what happened to them. I moved around often that I must have lost them in jeans heaven. This store has a fantastic section of sales items in the far right corner. I felt like I was at an outlet store. Sweaters, pants, t-shirts, jeans, coats, and more were all reduced. Yay! It's clean and cheerful walking around the store. I was greeted by a very friendly sales associate who assisted me in the purchase of two awesome new shirts. The staff were all pleasant and genuinely engaging throughout the sales process. Hammer Made takes a rather unique approach to their clothing in that everything they sell is designed by their owner and only made in very limited quantities. You can feel confident that when you wear one of their shirts you won't see five other people wearing the same thing!
