Going to the movies is one of my favorite things to do. The big screen, the smell of popcorn, the…read morecandy, etc. IPIC went above and beyond the typical movie theater experience. This is an upscale experience with reclining seats that includes 2 seats per pod. Super cozy for a date night. Complimentary blankets are included at every seat for your enjoyment, at no additional cost. Now let's get to the fun part! IPIC is not your typical movie theater as they have a full bar with cleverly crafted cocktails, my favorite had to be the Lavender Lemonade. It's cool and refreshing and so esthetically beautiful that you question if you should drink it or admire it. But wait there is more, on top of having a full service bar they also have a full menu! Yes you still have the typical popcorn and candy option but they also include such dishes as spicy tuna on crispy rice, charcuterie and cheese platter, lobster rolls just to name a few. Everything is savory and delicious! They do validate parking, allowing guests to park in the garage for a discounted rate. Validation usually brings the cost to approximately $3-$3.50 for 4.5 hours. The cost of tickets range from $14 - $28 per ticket. I have come many times and plan on coming back many times more. IPIC has officially become my favorite theater!

As a Gold member for the past two years, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I've…read morehad at IPIC. The first frustration came when I discovered my Gold membership had expired. There was no notification, no auto-renewal, and no indication in the app that I had ever been a Gold member. For a premium theater experience that relies heavily on app-based ordering in a dark theater, the lack of transparency was frustrating. Unfortunately, the experience only went downhill from there. There was a noticeable sewage smell in parts of the theater, which immediately took away from the upscale atmosphere IPIC is known for. I was also disappointed to learn that the blankets, one of the signature touches that made IPIC feel special, are no longer available. The food quality has also declined. I ordered the chicken tenders, and even staff acknowledged they are using a different supplier than they did in the past. The difference was noticeable, and not for the better. To make matters worse, our drinks took an exceptionally long time to arrive. I've happily paid premium prices at IPIC for years because the experience felt worth it. This visit felt like a series of cost-cutting measures wrapped in a higher-end price tag. Between the membership confusion, declining food quality, slow service, unpleasant odor, and removal of amenities, it's hard to justify the value compared to what IPIC used to offer. I hope management takes a hard look at the customer experience because the brand that earned my loyalty over the last two years feels very different today.

Discounts for seniors, students, educators, military, EMS etc. Volunteer for free entry! SEATS You pay to reserve a section, not a specific seat. The balcony upstairs has a small area for dining but seats are cheap & intimate with stellar views! Box seats are behind and to the sides of the main floor, mildly mobility friendly. Kitchen's closed during performances so arrive early! Order 75 - 10 minutes before curtain. Menu - $7.50 soup, $6.50 salad, $15 Shepherd's pie etc. I love the $8.50 Tavern sausage with potato salad. I believe there was also a minimum age as well. At ticker purchase you select your dinner option and can list the people with whom you wish to be seated. Some instructions are available at the table and it is an interactive event. You are given some time at the beginning to mingle and gather clues for suspects. The actors perform their skit while incorporating various members of the audience. The audience is given more clues and you have to do your write up on who the kill is and what happened. The winner gets a prize at the end of the show. The dinner consisted of rolls with a salad with 2 dressing options, an entree of vegetables or vegetables with choice of chicken or salmon and a slice of cheesecake for dessert. It was just ok, nothing to write home about. Water, unsweetened tea and coffee was included. They offered a cash bar or you could purchase drinks from the hotel lobby bar. The whole thing lasted about 3.5 hours with a few breaks/intermissions. It was decently entertaining, I had several good laughs. Overall it was an OK event for a new experience. I enjoyed the entertainment but found the food to be lacking. Thus, I feel the event was a bit over priced. The experience is going to be more or less what you make of it. In this case, I'll have to leave you to decide for yourself if you'd like to try it.

Since we read a Shakespeare inspired book, we decided to come by and watch Romeo and Juliet. Parking was easy to find since the Emory parking deck was right across the street. Upon entering, you could order a drink before heading inside the theater. We had balcony seats so went up to pick our seats and then came down the kitchen to order food. Food was pretty good as they had a variety of options and already made prior to ordering. I got one of the bread baskets which came with pumpkin bread, garlic bread, zucchini bread and a couple of other pieces. The garlic bread was absolutely delicious and super flavorful while the pumpkin bread had the right amount of sweetness. During intermission, I got the raspberry sorbet which was a huge portion size for the price and tasted delicious! The play itself was really good as all the actors did well and could tell how passionate they were through the act. I also enjoyed that they added some humor. I do recommend getting there early especially if you book a balcony seat so that you can get a good seat. Overall, a pretty cool spot in the city and would recommend to anyone wanting to watch a Shakespeare play!

Good gentles all, lend me thine ears awhile, For I must sing…read morethe praise of a house most rare, Where wit and wine do walk in hand in hand, And mirth wears motley till the candles fade. This past Christmastide, in love's true spirit dressed, I bore my wife unto the Shakespeare Tavern. She, never yet acquainted with its cheer, And I, returned after long years astray. To fit the hour, I clad my queen in garb Of Renaissance delight, and so attired We crossed the threshold, not as common folk, But players in the age we came to see. Long ere this night, I owed this noble hall A debt of thanks: for here, in youthful days, I first did taste that shepherd's humble pie, A dish so rich it lodged within my heart, And now I seek it wheresoe'er I dine. Thus memory itself did set the table Before a single course was yet revealed. When tickets were secured, mine eye did spy A royal offer "King" bold in name. Some might cry out at such a stately sum, But mark me well: I am no peasant born, And for my wife, my world, my sun, my soul, No coin is dear, no luxury too high. Thus crowned, we were with wine and endless fare, A bottle fair and victuals without bound. Yet let me pause, for praise is due indeed To those kind souls who served us through the night. The volunteers, with smiles as warm as hearths, Whose courtesy outshone the candle's flame. With gentle word and eager helping hand, They made us feel not guests, but honored kin, Their cheer did season every dish we ate And lent the evening grace beyond all gold. O feast! O triumph of the kitchen's art! Each dish a sonnet, savory and warm. We sampled all, and still our hunger grew, For every bite did beg another verse. The price alone was paid in pleasure full, And gladly would I ransom it again. Then rose the play, "Twelfth Night" upon the stage. A comedy so fleet of tongue and limb That laughter leapt unbidden from my chest. The players brought their utmost to the boards, Each soul alive with timing, wit, and fire. Not once did mirth grow stale, nor joy sit still; The night flew past as if on fairy wings. We left with hearts made light and bellies glad, Already sworn to swift return again. Next time, with kin and blood and chosen friends, That they too may partake this joyful spell. So hear me, travelers of time and taste: If thou wouldst dine with laughter, love, and art, Seek thou this tavern where old words live new. I'll meet thee there anon, until that hour, I rest thy servant, smiling in recall.

None of us had ever been before, so we didn't fully know what to expect -- but it ended up being such a memorable Sunday evening. We were able to get the group discount (if you have 15+ guest), and tickets came out to about $57 per person after taxes and fees, which felt reasonable for dinner and a show. We were originally scheduled for January, but had to reschedule due to the two "winter storms" we had -- the process was smooth and hassle-free, which we appreciated thanks to Wendy the Group Ticket Rep. We all decided to dress up, which honestly made the experience 10x more fun. If you're planning to going, I highly recommend getting into character. The show was about 1.5 hours long and kept everyone entertained the entire time. Even though our team lost (still a little salty about that ), the energy, cheering, and crowd involvement made it a blast. The food was better than expected! The chicken was surprisingly juicy, and the corn was actually the standout of the meal. Everything was served hot and fresh. Shout out to our Server i believe her name of Melissa or Melanie.
