I went to IPIC yesterday to see Spider-Man: Long Way From Home and was seated in Theater 6. Shortly after getting settled, I noticed the auditorium was a bit warm. Once our server, Diamond, greeted us, we learned they were dealing with a few operational issues, including a limited food menu, a nonfunctioning call button, and unfortunately, no working AC in the theater. Despite the circumstances, Diamond was excellent. She was attentive, communicative, and kept us informed throughout the movie. Management also handled the situation well, coming into the theater to offer guests a full refund and a pass for another movie. We were also given the option to wait about 20 minutes and move to another auditorium showing the same film. I decided to stay and was still able to order a pepperoni pizza and some candy from the limited menu. The pizza was good, but that ranch deserves its own mention because it was surprisingly delicious. Technical issues happen, and I appreciated how both Diamond and management handled a less than ideal situation. iPic will definitely continue to be my theater of choice, and Diamond's service made a big difference in the overall experience. read more

I've been here a handful of times and the service has always been a bit hit or miss, but this last visit really took me aback. We came to see Odyssey, which was amazing, easily one of the best theater experiences movie-wise but the in-theater dining side of things fell apart fast. Ordered a Coke and got Diet instead, along with wings and a large popcorn. When the wings came out (wrong flavor), I asked for an extra plate and napkins got the napkins eventually, no plate, and the wings themselves were the wrong order. That took over 25 minutes to even attempt to fix, and at that point I just left mid-movie to go grab things myself at the bar. We hit the call light multiple times after that and the server didn't come back until the last 10 minutes of the film. On top of that, our seat cushion was detached and torn when we sat down not exactly what you expect for the price point. At the end, I asked to speak with a manager about the experience and to get my points credited. He handled the points fine, but honestly seemed pretty indifferent to everything else, which felt off given we'd just spent over $100 for two people. To top it off, parking wasn't validated correctly, and there was no going back up to fix it once we'd left. The movie itself was fantastic. The experience around it wasn't. If you're going for the movie, go just don't expect much from the service. read more

As a Gold member for the past two years, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had at IPIC. The first frustration came when I discovered my Gold membership had expired. There was no notification, no auto-renewal, and no indication in the app that I had ever been a Gold member. For a premium theater experience that relies heavily on app-based ordering in a dark theater, the lack of transparency was frustrating. Unfortunately, the experience only went downhill from there. There was a noticeable sewage smell in parts of the theater, which immediately took away from the upscale atmosphere IPIC is known for. I was also disappointed to learn that the blankets, one of the signature touches that made IPIC feel special, are no longer available. The food quality has also declined. I ordered the chicken tenders, and even staff acknowledged they are using a different supplier than they did in the past. The difference was noticeable, and not for the better. To make matters worse, our drinks took an exceptionally long time to arrive. I've happily paid premium prices at IPIC for years because the experience felt worth it. This visit felt like a series of cost-cutting measures wrapped in a higher-end price tag. Between the membership confusion, declining food quality, slow service, unpleasant odor, and removal of amenities, it's hard to justify the value compared to what IPIC used to offer. I hope management takes a hard look at the customer experience because the brand that earned my loyalty over the last two years feels very different today. read more

Going to the movies is one of my favorite things to do. The big screen, the smell of popcorn, the candy, etc. IPIC went above and beyond the typical movie theater experience. This is an upscale experience with reclining seats that includes 2 seats per pod. Super cozy for a date night. Complimentary blankets are included at every seat for your enjoyment, at no additional cost. Now let's get to the fun part! IPIC is not your typical movie theater as they have a full bar with cleverly crafted cocktails, my favorite had to be the Lavender Lemonade. It's cool and refreshing and so esthetically beautiful that you question if you should drink it or admire it. But wait there is more, on top of having a full service bar they also have a full menu! Yes you still have the typical popcorn and candy option but they also include such dishes as spicy tuna on crispy rice, charcuterie and cheese platter, lobster rolls just to name a few. Everything is savory and delicious! They do validate parking, allowing guests to park in the garage for a discounted rate. Validation usually brings the cost to approximately $3-$3.50 for 4.5 hours. The cost of tickets range from $14 - $28 per ticket. I have come many times and plan on coming back many times more. IPIC has officially become my favorite theater! read more

Love love love this theater. The seats are the coziest I've experienced in ATL and they are sectioned off so you and your date truly feel like you're on your own and not in a room full of people. Plus they give everyone a blanket! The servers are quick and efficient as not to disrupt your film. I haven't ordered any entrees yet but I've ordered plenty of drinks and popcorn. This theatre is under new management and has become TERRIBLE. Just leaving from watching the Odyssey and I was very disappointed because this used to be an AMAZING theatre. There were no blankets, the system is down so we couldn't order food, and they were short staffed. Because the system was down, they couldn't print tickets and they were hand writing tickets. They wrote the wrong theatre on my ticket, and I sat watching the previews for Spider-Man for 20 minutes until I realized I was in the wrong place. I missed the first 10 minutes of the Odyssey!!! About halfway through the movie, we had to walk to the bar and order our own food and drinks because they never came to the seats to take our orders. Then once the movie ended, they stopped the ENTIRE theatre from leaving and told us we couldn't leave until everyone paid for their bill. Why they didn't close out the bills before the movie ended, is a mystery to me. I will not be returning. read more

Very disappointing experience at IPIC. I ordered the chicken tenders and they came out undercooked and completely tasteless. Both mine and my partner's fries were also served cold. When we politely notified the food runner, he immediately caught an attitude and never came back to check on us or resolve the issue. The ambiance is only decent if you're comfortable sitting in chairs that squeak and make noise every single time you move throughout the movie. It became distracting pretty quickly. To make matters worse, they automatically add an 18% gratuity without clearly notifying you, and apparently it doesn't matter how terrible the service is because they will not remove the charge. Paying premium prices for bad food, poor service, and an uncomfortable theater experience is not something I'd recommend. read more

Wow! Out of all the movie theaters I've been to in my life, this might be the most extra extravagant one. It's located right on colony Square and doesn't take much searching to find from the parking deck. I got to watch my movie in a traditional recliner seat, and they even gave me a blanket! I will say the seat wasn't the most comfortable as I found there was too much room to lay back. If I laid back all the way I was looking at the ceiling. The food and drink was amazing as expected. It's restaurant quality food in a movie theater! The service was quick and very friendly. Parking is validated up to four hours, but the machine did not seem to be working that night as I was charged $30 upon exiting. While this was the most fun, I've had at the theater in a while, it was also the most expensive. Keep in mind the budget when choosing to visit here! read more

We came here yesterday to see Moana with our toddler daughter, who was so excited for the movie. Unfortunately, shortly after we sat down, we noticed a large roach near our seats. We immediately notified our server, who was very apologetic and offered to move us. I want to acknowledge that he provided great customer service and handled the situation professionally. However, after seeing a roach in our seating area, it was extremely difficult to relax and enjoy the movie. We were uncomfortable the entire time and kept wondering if there were more. For a theater with premium prices, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and pest control. The food was good and our server was great, but the cleanliness issue greatly impacted our experience. I also have video footage of the incident. Elevated movie experience with the price to match. We wanted to see Sinners this weekend but it was sold out so we got tickets to The Amateur. Ordered drinks to start, Norma Jean & a Honeydew Melon margarita, both very tasty but for $15 each there was just a splash of alcohol. For food we ordered the nachos, add chicken, there was a smoky flavor to the meat that was unexpected, honestly the nachos wasn't special but let me tell you what the star of the show was - Brussel Sprouts! Yes you read that correctly, movie theater brussel sprouts were plate licking good!! Must order, the apple, the tahini all worked in a way that has inspired me to figure out how to recreate this dish at home. The IPIC at Colony Square is always a great time! Service is mostly spot on, with friendly servers, good food, good drinks, and comfortable seats. Sometimes there are blankets at your seat too, which I like. The bathrooms are clean, and the lounge area is nice to relax in before or after a movie. Validated parking - $3 towards 4.5 hours. This is the cheapest part of this excursion. Great food court. Caribbean, desserts, American fare and other options. For the movies, you check in downstairs then ride the escalator to the theaters and a well stocked bar. Bathrooms are decent. Comfort and size of the theater is undefeated. I had the nachos and I was content with it all. But I did have to quality check my meal. I didn't get the Guac they brought it after. Be aware, there is the price of the meal, 18% that goes to the entire staff, and they'll ask for an individual tip that goes to your server. My point is you could comfortably spend over $100 more like $200. You could eat before and just order a soda and popcorn, but if you want to it all in, then.... I don't go to the movies often. But when I want to see a blockbuster, I will definitely come back. read more

Love the experience of this theatre (big comfy reclining seats, personal seating, blankets, big menu), and so happy they are staying open, just wish they could get their act together with drink service - most of the time I have to order water multiple times or go to bar after it not coming out 30min or so. New mgmt was nasty and instead of acknowledging the issues to try to improve stated 'there's a statistical improbability there's an issue with your service' - who talks like that to customers? Was told their IT Team would reach out, never got a response. Reached out to corporate, never received an answer. Went online, received an error message. From the comfortable seats to the dividers to the blanket they provided. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing. I think the worst part of the experience was the blankets they hand out, you heard me right, communal blankets for each guest. My husband and I have walked past here tons of times, and we finally decided to check it out. We'd purchased our tickets in advance, but the line to pick up / purchase wasn't long at all when we arrived for our afternoon showing. We made our way up the escalator and saw several people standing outside of the theatre as they waited for employees to finish cleaning it. Once we were inside, we found our "pod" and settled in. Honestly, for some reason, I wasn't sure how much I'd like the experience, but it was cozy. After checking out the menu again before we'd arrived, we decided to eat somewhere else that we really enjoy in the area. So, we only ordered club soda and a small cheesy popcorn. I totally forgot to take a picture and I don't recall what our check said, but I think our server may have brought us a large. Or the small is just way bigger than you'd think. Either way, having cheesy popcorn as an option was a plus and it tasted delicious. My husband took a handful and swore he wasn't going to eat anymore (I definitely wouldn't have been able to finish it on my own), but he couldn't resist. The servers go back and forth between various theaters, so it can take a while to receive your order and also get your card back if that's how you decide to pay. We were into the movie and forgot to ask if we could just use Apple Pay. Overall, we enjoyed the atmosphere and will be back soon. read more

For my first time here I am very impressed. Admittedly, I got lost in the parking lot, but after I found my way it was nothing but great vibes. The food was amazing. I don't have anything negative to say about the food we chose. The service only elevated the experience. Our attendant, Angel, was very attentive and ensured we have a nice time. My friend and I chose iPic for our Saturday night movie (May 24th, 10:45pm showing of Final Destination) based on past positive experiences. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite--and frankly, a huge letdown from start to finish. We arrived early to grab drinks at the bar. The bartender offered to make off-menu drinks using specific liquors--suggesting Casamigos and Don Julio--with no mention of an upcharge. I ordered a single shot of Casamigos Reposado and a Mango passion fruit Mojito, and my friend had a strawberry margarita with Don Julio. We were shocked when we received the bill: $80 for one shot and two drinks. When we asked for an itemized receipt, we noticed vague charges like a $6 add-on labeled just "margarita" and a random "server charge" that felt completely unjustified. We've been to upscale bars, and this level of overcharging felt predatory. Things only got worse inside the theater. We pressed the service button at 10:40pm to place our food order. No one showed up for over 30 minutes. At 11:20, we approached a staff member who told us to just press the button again, despite us explaining we already had. It turns out the button light turned off by itself, and no one ever checked in with us. We had to physically call out to someone to finally get help--well after last call. Then came another surprise: a $75 hold on our card for a $35 order. Annoying, but we dealt with it. Our food arrived 40 minutes later--barely before the movie ended--and my lemon pepper wings were nearly inedible due to how overly salty they were. To top it all off, even though we validated our parking as instructed, we were still charged $3 to leave the deck. This experience was beyond frustrating. We don't mind paying for luxury, but what we got was overpriced drinks, poor service, delayed food, and flat-out misinformation. We will never return to this location and absolutely do not recommend it. iPic, do better. read more

My partner and I come here 2-3 times a month. We love coming here! He's obsessed with movies, me not so much, but the experience here provides me with everything I need to have a great time: food and cocktails! After our very first visit we became members and with that we receive discounts on food, rewards points and free popcorn during our visit. The theatre is always clean and ready for the next set of guests. Now that it's cold they offer nice throws and my partner just loves that. Our go to order is 1 Adult cheese pizza, 1 Adult pepperoni & 2 orders of lemon pepper wings (don't judge us. lol). I am going to say this with my entire chest, IPIC has the best lemon pepper wings in the city! I am from Memphis, where wings are a serious thing and I also live in an area of ATL where there are 2 wings spots at every turn. These wings are piping hot, perfectly seasoned and CRISPY! We literally visit bc we have a wing craving! The pizzas are thin which is our favorite as well. They are always well made and tasty. The front desk will validate your parking tickets if you parked in the garage. The upstairs lobby is beautifully decorated. I love how small the theater rooms are and how intimate the environment feels. The pods are so cozy and fits 2 people. So if you're a party of 3, one of you will be stuck sitting alone. The service was amazing from the moment we sat down to when we left. After placing our orders they came out with 10 mins I ordered the tandoori chicken skewers and they were kinda dry and a bit over seasoned. My husband got the BBQ burger and only took 3 bites. OMGOODNESS! We came to a private showing of Wakanda Forever here and had so much fun!! Park in the Colony Square parking deck bc the theater will validate your parking for $3 for 4.5 hours! We arrived 30 minutes prior to our show starting and got drinks at the bar. Their cocktails were strong and reasonably priced. We took our drinks to our movie pod, and ordered our popcorn, candy, soft drinks, and dinner entrees! Since this was a private showing it was a little different than coming for a standard show and we paid $60 per seat for the experience. I ordered the chicken nachos for my entree and they were good! Perfect movie munchies. The popcorn was fresh, with extra butter just like I requested. We had a wonderful time watching the movie and will definitely be back again!! read more
