    Bachelorette celebration

We had SO MUCH FUN celebrating a bachelorette weekend! Mutha Envy took amazing care of our party and bride. The vibes are immaculate. 10/10 would recommend!

Lips is always a fun time for drag brunch. We come here at least once a year for a friends birthday. The talent never disappoints. Funny host, amazing dances and lip singing. The ambiance is great, lights are dim for most of the show until the end. Food was really good. So many new items on the menu from last year, they start with pastry baskets and pitchers of bottomless mimosas...because the more you drink the prettier the ladies get (there words....not mine..lol). You can also get botomless bloddy marys. The food selection was a long list so there should be something for everyone. They do make change for you for tipping and, there is an ATM in the building. Definitely check them out.

If you want a great night out, go to Lips. You won't be disappointed! Location and Parking Located on Buford Highway, Lips has plenty of free parking. My spouse and I went on a Thursday, but on the weekends I imagine it gets pretty packed and you might need to park somewhere nearby. Venue and Atmosphere It looks exactly as you'd expect a drag venue to look: bright decor, campy props, and lots of glitter everywhere. There is plenty of seating for large and small parties, and bathrooms are clean. Service The staff are all in drag, except for the bus boys and the bartender. The queens put on a fabulous show. Our host, Brigitte Bidet, kept us laughing with her witty jokes and epic performances. Out waitress, Ivana, was gorgeous and very talented. The queens will take your order between performances, and your drinks will never run dry. A 20% gratuity is added to all orders, but don't forget to tip with singles for a great show! Food and Beverages The $5 peach margarita was tasty, but it'll knock you flat if you're not careful. The food was decent. Nothing to write home about, but my fried chicken was well fried and seasoned, and the mashed potatoes weren't from a box. My spouse had the fried catfish and grits; the fish was seasoned and fried well, but the étouffée and grits lacked any and all flavor. Bottom line: you're here for the entertainment, and drinks, not the food. Verdict My spouse and I were looking for something different to do for date night, and we enjoyed ourselves!

We had a blast here celebrating a 40th birthday. Our group was given a table for the show, and the food was delicious. The Queens were hilarious and it was a great way to celebrate.

I went here for a friend's birthday and had a time. Upon entrance, we were given mimosas and greeted with all smiles. The decor was different, but well put together. On to time the food. I had an omelette, my friend had shrimp and grits, and someone else in the party had the pancakes. I enjoyed my omelette, which came with potatoes. It was well seasoned. My friend did not care for her shrimp and grits. She said it was a bit try and lacked flavor. I was told that the pancakes were amazing. They looked really good too. Let's talk about the show for a bit. The host was hilarious and did a great job. Each performer had a unique performance. They seemed to enjoy what they do and aimed to please the crowd. There was a birthday segment and a dance off as well. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would go back if I was invited to go.

Had a fab time here to celebrate my friends birthday! Came for a Saturday brunch show and immediately were sat. You get a choice of lunch/brunch entrees for $42 each with unlimited mimosas or bloody Mary's. Really enjoyed ourselves and the entertainment was awesome! Recommend getting there early as parking filled up quick. Def recommend if you are in the area and want some fun entertainment!

New Year's Eve table at LIPS Atl!

The best dinner theater in Atlanta! Amazing steak and salmon dinner. Spent New Year's Eve at the Atl Lips, and such a great experience. Full of birthday and bachelorette parties. Great service. Highly recommend.

The food was good. The atmosphere was super exciting. We were there to celebrate a birthday, and the food, drinks, and show didn't disappoint.

Run, don't walk, for your next Girl's Day. Food was amazing. Entertainment is top tier. Audience participation 10/10. We had the best time. Went for Saturday brunch and we weren't expecting much, food wise. Imagine our surprise at how fresh and delicious everything was. It's loud, so don't go if you aren't willing to let loose. Can't wait to go back.

When my best friend said that she wanted to go to a drag brunch during her bachelorette party I knew I had to ask around to find the best one in the area. Everybody I know who lives in ATL told me that Lips was thee place to go, and they were all right! I booked the bachelorette party special which came with a crown from the bachelorette and a special shot to share on stage with the host. What I love about this place is that all the employees I saw were drag queens. They were both the servers and the performers, and I love that patronizing here means supporting a fully LGBTQ+ staff. The brunch was pretty good, not the best I ever had, but pretty tasty when compared to other Drag Brunch venues I've been to in the past. The show itself was entertaining, the girls were on it during every number, and the host, the legendary Charlie Brown was a Riot from start to end. My best friend also got a moment on stage to announce her engagement before taking her shot and she had the time of her life! I'm so glad we were able to see Charlie Brown's brilliance on stage in person before she passed away this year. All in all, Lips really lived up to the hype of being the best spot for Drag Brunch in ATL.

Ask the Community - Lips - Atlanta

    Do Lips take Apple Pay?

No, they do not. I double checked.

Please answer the phone? You are open and I've been trying to call for hours to change my reservation.

I called at least 20xs before I got an answer from them also.

What is the best way make a reservation? I've tried calling the phone number listed on their website and Facebook and left messages, but I have not heard anything back. Planning on a Sat night. Should we just show up? Would we still get a table?

    lipsatlreservations@gmail

Can you pay for the show/dinner ahead of time?

    Regrettably you cannot

Can we attend without paying for the dinner show package?

No it is a full package deal with dinner or brunch.

Is there convenient parking? How much is parking?

Free parking. I went in a Sunday and parked next door at the bank.

I'm confused - if We go to a Thursday night show and it says $30 for dinner and show - do I also have to pay a minimum amount? Isn't everything included other than the tip? Is there a cover fee? I don't see anything listed about that on the website?

The $30 is for the meal and show, however it does not include tax or gratuity. They only accept a certain number of cards per table, possibly two...so don't go assuming they can split the tab. But there is no cover charge.

I see that they combine checks per table...so is it not per party? If I am a party of 2, do I get a table for 2 or am I sitting with a bunch of strangers at a large table and the check is combined per table? I'm confused.

You get your own table, but the tables are pushed together in long rows, and your bill is just for your party of people.

Is there an age minimum to get in?

16 and up for the earlier shows, 18+ for the 9pm shows, 21+ for the late show. Info found here https://www.lipsatl.com/reservations

What age do you need to be to get in?

16 and up for the earlier shows, 18+ for the 9pm shows, 21+ for the late show. Info found here https://www.lipsatl.com/reservations

Do you have to tip the performers?

Tipping for good service and appreciation is always welcomed. Not mandatory but appreciated.

How old do you have to be to get in? Is it 18+?

It's best to be of legal age. There's lots of alcohol and the jokes are not PG.

Do you have to eat here to see a show or can you just pay to watch the show?

There is a minimum you have to spend in addition to the cost of seeing the show, I didn't want to eat but I ordered food just to help with the minimum.

Do you have to bring ones for tipping?

Yes but they will also give you change

Whats the best night to go to lips? Please start answer with day of the week and then tell why.

Friday and Saturday Nights are the Best! These are their glitz and glam nights...THANK ME LATER

These ladies know how to belly dance!…read more We had the pleasure of seeing them perform at Nicola's Restaurant in their first full length show and they did not disappoint! They had a troupe of dancers of every experience level there and their dancing incorporates a little burlesque, tribal, belly dancing, jazz/funk and probably almost every other kind of dancing! They used fire, swords, silk sheets and of course all the normal belly dance accouterments that you might know like scarves, coin chains, bindhi's and so on. The dancers all performed wonderfully and were mesmerizing to watch. Oracle and Carolanne were my personal favorites to watch because it seemed like they really got into their routines (not that the others didn't mind you, but these two really seemed to have a knack for moving their hips in just the right way you would think of a belly dancer moving!) They did two "sets" with each set comprised of about 8 different dances with all different dancers circulating between the dance numbers. These ladies truly know how to work a room. Everyone was watching intently, mesmerized you might say, and everyone looked as if they were having a great time. At the end of their show, they let everyone get out in the middle of the room and dance to the music. Oh, and the music was great as well! Some very nice middle eastern themed music for some of the numbers, but they also had some Squirrel Nut Zippers and one song from Godsmack (Voodoo! One of my favorites!) I would highly recommend checking these ladies out when they have another show! They are worth watching!
