It was a tad bit on the sweet side and could have used some acid and heat to balance it a bit. The rice was cooked perfectly. While that's not completely unheard of with a Philly cheesesteak, there are definitely ways to make a sandwich like this hold together better. A sturdier roll, lightly toasting the bread, or not cutting the hinge quite so deeply would have made a big difference. Overall, though, this was a very good lunch, especially considering the price.
