I bought a treadmill from Play it Again Sports several years ago. It has needeed servicing twice in recent years and they sent a technician out to fix it within 24 hours both times. Bad selling experience - inconsistent way of appraising between employees and rude treatment. They are supposed to look up on computers and this employee decided the other day to just through out prices - super low prices, very different then a different employee on another day for same item - when questioned he laughed it off and told me to sell My things myself. Bad selling experience. They sell garbage, and they only buy garbage. I went in with a brand new pair of $250 Rollerblades and asked them to give me A price. One employee said $50 the other came up and required $25. They told me the skates were too nice for them to buy and that they couldn't buy them. Too nice??? This place is a joke. I came here hoping to find some new discs to try out. And also trade in a couple of old discs. I enjoy disc golfing, but dont understand anything about different discs. A tall mustachioed man was THE greatest help. Shared with me all his knowledge with a smile on his face. And even gave me a couple seasoned recommendations. We were looking for a bike rack that will fit my son's small tire bike but we can't fine any on other local bike stores. On our way home, I decided to drop by Play It Again Stores. The lady cashier showed us selections and we found an adjustable rack, which fit perfectly when installed. My son and I tried to install it but we're both not handy person. The lady cashier lent us tools but it was just a challenge. Luckily, one of the store staff came, he installed the rack. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and was able to make adjustments, bending, etc... He also helped us choose the perfect utility bag to go with it. We were so happy, I asked the lady cashier how much the labor is, and she said they don't charge, and I wanted to give tip but they don't accept. I asked what the name of this helpful staff and she said his name is Scott. Thank you Play It Again Sports for having store staff like Scott and the lady cashier. They are very nice and went over and above my expectations. read more

This business is a great argument for buying local: The entire staff, from helpers to delivery people, are extremely nice, helpful, and speedy, regardless of the service you need. I was reminded of how important it is to patronize local business, especially right now. This sporting goods store deserves an A+. It doesn't get better than this. We went in for a particular exercise bike. All they had was the floor model and didn't expect any new ones for a month. They delivered the floor model and let us use that, then swapped the floor model for a new one when they came in--they called me--I didn't even have to remind them. All at no additional cost. And the deliveries were exactly on time. Everyone I dealt with there was exceptionally nice. read more

The store was fully stocked on all the various things I wanted. The real outlier was the manager though. Her customer service and interaction were precisely correct. She left me alone until I looked like I needed help, then she came right up and got me all the answers and the gear I needed with an incredibly great attitude. Locally, this is the place I go for sports equipment. Sometimes I can get a better price or a more modern design at a big chain store, although this equipment shop gives you the space to explore, pick up the equipment. They also sell reused equipment, and sponsor sporting events, take part in fund raising locally, etc. They've been stable, and in the community for a long time. They still make it worthwhile. read more
