I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs something embroidered and wants to have the absolute best service. If you're looking for mediocre service with average execution, go somewhere else. My experience with Webster's Sporting Goods could not have been any better. I had called several other embroidery shops in the area and I could not find a single one that would personally embroider one item. So, one week before Christmas, I walked into Webster's with a desperate plea to have an apron embroidered. Not only was it a week before Christmas, but I needed to have the item finished in 2.5 days. I was not expecting to be able to pull it off, but I thought it was worth a shot to ask them anyway. When I entered the shop, I was greeted by a man who was much friendlier than I expected for a busy shop employee around the holidays. He was so nice and not only took the apron but also helped me decide where and how to embroider it. He (Mike is his name) then helped me narrow down some fonts and ultimately I allowed him to use his discretion on what type of font to use in the location that we chose. Mike told me that he wasn't entirely sure if they would be able to finish the job by Friday, but he would give me a call either way so I could come pick it up. Mike and the rest of the team put me so at ease when I was in such a panic about getting this item embroidered on time. Even if they weren't able to get it finished, I was so happy about the way I was treated at their shop. Fast forward to the next day, yes the NEXT DAY, and I get a call from Mike telling me that the apron is finished. Not only did they get the job done for me, but they got it done EARLY. During the holiday season. WOW!!!! Color me impressed. I went to pick the item up, and I was again greeted by Mike, who remembered me BY NAME. He handed me the apron to review and I was stunned with how great it looked. It was better than I could have imagined on my own. To top it off, when I asked them if I could please tip since they did such an extraordinarily good job, I was told instead to donate to a charity of my choice. Holy smokes. I only wish I had more things to embroider so I could give Webster's more of my business. To say I'll be returning is an understatement.

Let's be honest. I…read moredon't have a whole lot of business heading into a store called "Fleet Feet." I kind of wanted to go in and immediately proclaim "Fleet Feet - meet No Feet." I resisted the urge. In all seriousness, or at least as serious as I can be in what is essentially a shoe store, I was wheeling by Fleet Feet while handling an errand in this Broad Ripple Strip Center where Fleet Feet exists. Fleet Feet is a chain that started in 1976 in Sacramento, CA. There are six locations in Indiana - Broad Ripple, Carmel, Fort Wayne, Greenwood, Fishers, and West Lafayette. One of the Fleet Feet slogans is All People. All Paces. Always. I love this and embrace it as someone who has tremendous endurance but almost no speed (Fun fact about this Yelper: I have the official slowest time ever recorded for the 500 Festival Mini-Marathon. I'm actually the reason there's a time limit now.). And yes, that means one year when I was on crutches, I came in dead last. But, I finished. This location is fairly accessible. There are accessible parking spots along the strip, curb cuts (though not really directly in front of Fleet Feet), and the single-sided glass door is pretty workable. The store's layout is wheelchair friendly. As I noted, the emphasis here is on shoes. However, I was wheeling by and saw a shirt I really liked. So, I decided to visit. The employee was friendly and helpful, though my uniquely shaped body needs a larger size than was available. That said, we had a good conversation about local events and I got the chance to check out a variety of supplies. In case you're wondering, I did not try on the shoes. There's much to love here, though with a slogan that includes "All People," I can't help but wish there was at least a little acknowledgement of wheelchair athletes here. It's a minor quibble, but as someone who gets out on the trails a lot it's important to me. That said, I'd easily return when I'm getting ready for my next event. They have some cool shirts, hydration/energy supplies, and more. Oh, and yeah, they have shoes.

When Nike stopped making their Structures that I'd been running in for 20 years, I turned to Fleet Feet to find a new pair. They hooked me up with ASICS GT-2000's in May 2021 and ASICS Gel Kayanos last week. Both have been excellent recommendations. Fleet Feet does a fantastic job. They always welcome you in, ask questions about what you're looking for, and have recommendations for great shoes or gear. I won't go anywhere else for my running shoes.

You can learn about tying flies and buy all the supplies. You can learn about and outfit yourself for all the different types of fishing. And they also have everything you need to organize all that stuff. There are two lovely dogs who and usually there to greet people, tails wagging and so friendly. They make going to the shop fun! They offer gift certificates, which is a great thing for Father's Day and Birthdays. Most importantly, the people there are very knowledgeable and helpful. I always feel like we learn something and it never feels like they are rushing you to wait on someone else. Of course, we also love to support local so I try to spend here when I have a need.

I found a pair of New Balance tennis shoes for 30% off and I found a pair of dress shoes for 40% off. The value you get for your shoes is magnificent! The service is good from the staff. They are willing to help you find a particular brand of shoes in your size if it is not out on the display floor. They do go the extra mile for you if you need something. DSW is a fantastic shoe store for shoes and I would not go anywhere else for shoes because it is just that great of a place to shop for shoes. Check out DSW for your next pair of shoes.
