We took a few different branded 7 irons to the simulator where I tried them out and chose the one that felt best to me. We did the same thing for the drivers, and I picked a putter on my own since there was a separate section for putters. It wasn't too busy when we walked in, but it got busier over the next half hour. Overall, I had a great experience here and will definitely come back for any golf-related needs. I'm definitely happy with my new TaylorMade club set!

This Dick's Sporting Goods Store (DSG) is set up just like any other dicks sporting-goods the…read moredifference here is that it's a lot cleaner and thats hard to believe because they were so short staffed the day we went. I have gone into the in Danbury DSG and the dressing room is overloaded with dust bunnies turning rabbits now ! Lol but not here everything seemed sharp, hung up, & in order. Also more of a selection of kayaks that were hanging from the ceiling. I definitely liked this particular DSG more. And we had a fun time, put putting in the golf room ! playing different sports inside of a room specifically built for that! The thing is after an hour or so of just being by ourselves in the golf area & tennis room, I believe "the manager" came over w/ an attitude & very upset! Speaking in a condescending tone of how they were understaffed and there was no one there to oversee that area of the DSG ! As if he has the ability to close part of the store down. So he's mumbling to himself and wishing customers (us) would of stayed home. the thing is "you're in customer service!" and he fails to realize that if he's unhappy with his job he should turn in his whistle and name badge! Oh well !! our next tour was, over to the bike area Yup still having a good time riding the bikes and looking at the merchandise not being bothered by "ma'am or sir can I help you, ?" every five seconds !!believe it.... it never happened!!!! (manager incident doesn't count) Although I would like this to be my go to Dick's sporting good store. it's a little out of my every day driving direction. The owners are the most kind and knowledgeable people and they surround themselves with truly the best instructors. As a golfer myself, I couldn't wait to try out their tech. I can't overstate how impressive and helpful it is. After 1 lesson I was on my way to becoming a much happier golfer. The atmosphere is very fun to be in. There is a putting room. How cool is that? They have 3D video golf. What?? They have an area to hang out in where you can meet some great people and enjoy some tasty coffee and other beverages. He is very knowledgable and is very good explaining at concepts along with how to improve. My evaluation session was impressive and I am looking forward to my future training/teaching and practice sessions. GolfTec offers the ability to view and record on video to help evaluate your swing while in training or during your practice. It is very helpful to be able to view your swing real-time and make changes to help improve. There is also an indoor putting green that is available. You want to improve, you should check it out.
