I also really liked the variety of the gift store. Items for all ages and interests. The cons- it's really small. Don't plan on this visit taking up more than 2 hrs, especially with small kids who are only interested in looking and not reading facts lol. Also, the fun zone left a lot to be desired. The games are really outdated and there was no one there to assist in the reptile area. Overall it was a good experience but not a place I see the need to go to more than once

They have a section of store devoted to framed insects and bats. This store really does have everything. My mother got a beautiful large raw labradorite stone and a stunning white and sky blue necklace pendant from the sole mine in the world that has this gemstone. My brother got a real megalodon tooth with a sterling silver fish hook for a pendant hook. For what they offer here I can say that their prices are reasonable. They also have a decent amount of parking. This is a great place to go to if you are local in the Space Coast area of Florida and if you are a tourist visiting or planning to visit. I definitely recommend this fantastic and wonderful store.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, it has two golf courses, A "ZOO", arcade and go carts. Now I did some research on YELP before coming here and knew they had all that, but it hits different when you actually go yourself. The first thing you see is a candy wall then a decent gift shop. I was a bit disappointed with the customer service and that's why this place only got 4 stars from me. They weren't exactly rude, they just gave off the vibe that they didn't want to be there at all. Anyway, the one thing I didn't see on YELP was that there's an age limit for the go carts and my son was too young (he's 4yr). That was the whole purpose of us coming here, but I can't blame anyone but myself, I should've called first and asked. They're mostly for older kids and adults, they're single riders only. My son's not a big fan of golf so I decided to check out the arcade. It was nice, there were a few games that didn't work but the ones that did were great. The place was clean, but it was very small. Played all the games in 30 min, except pinball. We then walked around to see all the wildlife they had to offer and it was pretty cool. It was cool to see the gators around the golf courses. All in all we had fun and I'll definitely come back.

Animal guy is friendly and knowledgeable. It's win win win. The only thing we haven't done yet is the go karts but those look like a great time as well. Highly recommend.

After a little over an hour, the kids took a short break and removed their harnesses. When they were ready to resume, they were told their session had ended. Staff indicated that this policy had been explained to the children, but no clear communication was provided to the supervising adults. After speaking with other parents, none of the children recall being told that removing their harness would end their session. Relying on children to fully understand a rule that ends a paid experience--without informing parents--is not sufficient, especially for a group. At over $50 per child, we expected a longer experience, which left many disappointed. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves communication for group visits to ensure future families can fully enjoy the experience.

**OVERALL REVIEW**…read more The Wizard of OZ Museum and Van Gogh Experience, which I will shorthand simply to the Oz Museum, is one of those unique attractions that stand out simply because of its uniqueness in an area you do not expect to see such an attraction. But this is Florida (my beloved state I love so much), and it should not be weird to see a surf museum (Florida Surf Museum) nearby the dinosaur store and museum (literally called the Dinosaur Store). But it works because the Oz Museum surely highlights so much from the Wizard of Oz franchise, not just the movie, but the entire lore inspired by the amazing book written by Frank L. Baum. I would have waited until later to post this review up, because there is one more "experience" I need to watch through-and-through in the Van Gogh Experience, which is the projector experience of traveling through The Wizard of Oz, but there is new news pertaining to this locale. The Oz Museum is moving south to Cocoa Beach. Not only that, it will be near the Dinosaur Store. How wonderful is it that two of the quirkiest museums Cocoa Beach has will be next to each other. Ergo, this review is for the Oz Museum as they are officially in their "Final Weeks in Cape Canaveral" before they move south to Cocoa Beach. For starters, the Oz Museum is located on the westside of A1A a.k.a. Jimmy Buffet Highway, at the northwest quadrant of its intersection with Center St., the street that leads westward to the dinky Center Street Park where one of the five bat houses of Cape Canaveral are located. The Oz Museum is actually "small" pertaining to the price one must pay to enter, which is about $32 plus tax for adults. Military and seniors get a discount and children are about half that price, but still, that can be considered steep for entry. But if you truly take your time with this location and engage in all they provide, it actually fair price. Most people would probably just breeze through all the exhibits, including officially recognized items that belonged to Frank L. Baum, signed books, and just a collection of all Oz related things from one family's personal collection. And yes, it is a personal collection, but it is an amazing personal collection with, as mentioned earlier, official items from certain locales, which I must stress "certain locales." For example, the display featuring the winkie guard spear has items that were officially used as props in the classic movie starring Judy Garland. The ruby red slippers on display, many mistake as from that movie, too, but those are actually the ones that were displayed in the line/queue of the Great Movie Ride in Disney's Hollywood Studios while the ride was open. It should also be noted that each glass panel of the collection has a QR code for an audio tour. Ergo, each panel will have a recorded explanation and history of everything that is on display. That is why I say the price is justified. And let's face it, a museum like this, despite how quirky it is, may become "boring" for little children. Ergo, there is a children's room with the animated Oz movie playing on loop and plenty of books, puzzles, and games to keep their playful minds occupied. Finally, the Van Gogh Experience is just an "added bonus" on top of all you get in this museum. The projectors put you in the midst of an amazing animation detailing Van Gogh's life, which lasts about 20 minutes on average. Seeing his paintings come to animation life in a room that is about 75 feet by 25 feet (estimate because the room was constantly darkened for the projectors) was just relaxing, especially when Starry Starry Night appeared. There is also a projector experience going through the entirety of The Wizard of Oz, but I never got to finish it. Ultimately, the Oz Museum is a worthwhile experience to go to, but I am only giving it four-out-of-five stars because this experience, as it is now, will soon be gone, and a new experience will be available very soon with added features such as a boat ride (and possibly mini-golf). From what I got the couple of times I went here, it is definitely worth checking out. You can't go wrong with a museum that is featured as it is highly-rated among many categories on TripAdvisor, including number one for kids museums.

Upon walk in there is a section for adults to make coffee and a few lounge tables. They also offer snacks and drinks for children (for purchase). For the fun. They have a play area for infants that's safe from bigger children. Perfect for crawling babies. Lots of soft colorful toys and soft climbing toys and safely gated. For 18 months and older they have a fun indoor climbing/slide set up, play kitchen and grocery, play construction, play fire station, animal clinic, dress up room, train room, lego wall, little tike push cars, small balance bikes and more. I love that there are sitting areas in the middle for adults to watch their older kids. I also appreciate the area near the restroom with a chair for nursing and a changing table privately located in the back. The staff were very friendly and told me all about upcoming fun events. If you look at their calender they do lots of fun events for babies and toddlers. This fun establishment is also great for renting their party room for a birthday or other special occasions. Overall this place is a great spot in Brevard for kids to let their imagination go wild.

Staff was pretty rude to my nonverbal autistic son. Kept trying to talk to him to get him out of 18 mos and under and didnt listen to me when I said he will not respond. 3. Access control is weak. A kid could easily push past main door into a busy parking lot. Theres only a child gate to stop on the other end. Would not take a nonverbal kid that is a "runner" here. I have an older nonverbal autistic child that was a runner and there is no way I would have taken her here. Shed have easily bolted out the door. 4. Staff intervenes in kids play A LOT. I noticed staff intervening in other kids' play to stop them from doing things. Ive been to other play places and this stood out to me as odd. Id say this place is OK for most. But the weak access control is concerning. It you take your kid here you will have to pay close attention to them.
