Today I've decided to take my 4 year old to this place, specifically for the go carts. We've always pass this place on our way back home and he's always wanted to come here. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, it has two golf courses, A "ZOO", arcade and go carts. Now I did some research on YELP before coming here and knew they had all that, but it hits different when you actually go yourself. The first thing you see is a candy wall then a decent gift shop. I was a bit disappointed with the customer service and that's why this place only got 4 stars from me. They weren't exactly rude, they just gave off the vibe that they didn't want to be there at all. Anyway, the one thing I didn't see on YELP was that there's an age limit for the go carts and my son was too young (he's 4yr). That was the whole purpose of us coming here, but I can't blame anyone but myself, I should've called first and asked. They're mostly for older kids and adults, they're single riders only. My son's not a big fan of golf so I decided to check out the arcade. It was nice, there were a few games that didn't work but the ones that did were great. The place was clean, but it was very small. Played all the games in 30 min, except pinball. We then walked around to see all the wildlife they had to offer and it was pretty cool. It was cool to see the gators around the golf courses. This place is great for families and kids, unfortunately you will get the occasional over serious Disney adult who wants to play a real game of golf and play through etc. other than those dorks attempting to ruin the fun, we love this place! Arcade is so wonderful for birthday parties with a big space with tables and chairs and a fridge to keep things cool. Great game selection. Gemstone mining is great. Animal guy is friendly and knowledgeable. It's win win win. The only thing we haven't done yet is the go karts but those look like a great time as well. Highly recommend. read more

Great course for mini golf, and you can see some reptiles along the way! (snakes, gators, iguanas, etxlc) They also have panning for gems which the little one loves and an arcade, which they sell time based cards for, as well as pay by play. The arcade is a little lame, on the smaller side and despite it being fairly new, some games were already out of service. But they have air hockey, skee ball, a couple driving and a couple shooting games, as well as 3 pinball machines. Also have the claw games but they won't work with the time based cards. (it would be nuts if they did!) Great friendly staff, and go carts as well (can't comment, haven't tried, but they look fun). There is a lot going on here. Two 18 hole golf courses, animals, go carts, .... We played one course then went back to pay only $5 to play the second course. Lots of fun obstacles and interesting props along the way. The gators were swimming around and were fun to watch. A couple of holes had a wheel to spin to bring some fun, new challenges to your group. We went around 3pm and flew through the course. No waiting which was great. Staff was helpful and very friendly. We did the gem panning/mining and we purchased the next to the biggest bag and it was a huge disappointment. Next time I'll leave my gem mining to Pigeon Forge it's awesome there! At this place the gems are tiny and the " panning " isn't fun, you have no place to sit and you are in the direct sun the whole time. I will admit that getting some sharks teeth was cool even though they were tiny. Not worth the cost though. You can find teeth on the beach. read more

I did not do the go-karts or arcade. There are food & beverages, souvenirs, & merch available for purchase. Alcohol is also available. Gator mountain is the more challenging course. Swamp Cave is more relaxed. Both are fun to do! Took about 2 hrs to do both. We had to wait a bit during Gator Mountain since there were people ahead of us, but not at all for Swamp Cave. The small zoo has birds, snakes, spiders, lizards, scorpions, & baby gators. There was also a tortoise. You can feed the gators (from a safe distance) & pay to take a photo with them. read more

This was a fun visit. A good price for 18 holes and even better for 36. Also a good price for the amount of time you get to race the go karts. The track was pretty cool too, being 3 levels and having a Mario Kart theme when it comes to power-ups, etc. the staff was very nice and friendly. They have free lockers you can use. Drinks and snacks available for purchase inside. They had a lots of drink options. I'd definitely recommend this place for some fun. read more

This was really fun. You buy gator food and put it on the end of a string to feed the gators. The gator food is five dollars. The gators are not active unless you have food. you cannot bring in your own food. They also have some viewing boxes of snakes and some other Cool animals to look at for free. The golfing is a really cool course with waterfalls and cool challenge ideas with feeders throughout to feed the fish. The feeders or $.25 just like a gumball machine, you'll need a quarter. read more

Me and boyfriend decided to stop in, as we love mini golfing everywhere we go and loved the concept of this place. I was very excited to see the gators, they had a pond full of them. They even offer gator feeding and an opportunity to hold a gator and get your picture taken with it, for an up charge. We didn't do either since we didn't want to spend the extra money, but would be a great experience for young ones. We did two rounds, one on each of their courses. They have an easy and hard course, both of which were challenging, fun, and entertaining. Throughout the courses they have different reptiles and animals for you to see. this place is a tourist trap. Do not waste your time or money. We paid $80 to ride the go karts and they didn't let us know that our children could not drive the go karts until we were boarding. It was an OK place. It cost about $60 for three of us (2 adults and 1 child) to ride one go-kart ride and one round of mini golf. The place was clean and everyone that worked there was very nice! Go Karts - it is setup like a Mario Kart rice. There are little stickers/monitors on the road that you can collect coins or things to slow other drivers down. I wish the cost included more that one ride - the go-karts were pretty empty so we raced against ourselves. I'm sure if they allowed more than one ride per person more people would ride which would be a more exciting rice. read more

Golf N Gator is a fun place for the whole family. We went around 8 on a Friday night and it was packed. We did the go kart & golf package and started at the go karts. It was about a 30 minute wait but we all really enjoyed the track which reminded me of Mario kart in real life!! We headed to golf after and waited for each hole. By the time we got to the 8th hole, there were 4 groups waiting to play the 9th/10th hole. It got really backed up. The group in front of us left and we waited about 10 minutes but the people in front of us were moving SLOW so we decided to head out as it was already around 9:30 and we were all hungry for dinner. At that point there were 2 families waiting behind us for the same hole so it was bad. We just backtracked and returned our balls and clubs in the big bucket. We had fun but weren't going to stand around and wait. There are many cool animals (snakes, spiders, alligators) to look at even before you golf. We didn't see everything because we didn't finish the course. I think they could do a better job of breaking up the groups or even having a timer per hole during busy times or limiting group size/amount of people on course at one time. read more

Nathans hot dogs:) We played the first round, they have 2 different courses, went inside ate then played the 2nd round. The girls were friendly, the place was very clean and there are lots of animals to feed and even hold. There are plenty of photo ops. Best and fastest go karts I've ever driven. So much to enjoy here. There are live gators, some they will let you hold and pet for photos, and an extra price. There are many other birds, snakes and crittters here that make part of this attraction a zoo. There are two separate and fun 18 hole mini golf courses. We only did one but they weave in and out, up and down. The greens are quality and the holes are interesting, challenging and fun. Not hard as in PGA putting skills, just fun. My favorite was the elevated go cart track. The cars are fast, the track is an up and down and figure 8 and loop de loop course. The game isn't just speed. The course has lights and "rewards" on the track that when you drive over them can give you speed, slow you down (avoid these), or slow other racers on the course. I'm not a Mario Bro's player and maybe that would have helped me. Even if it didn't get all the right colored lights to boost my speed, we had fun driving these cars and at this attraction. read more

The best experience was holding the gator and interacting with the birds. The race cars were also really exciting and fast. No longer under construction. This was a fun experience. It's a zoo, go-cart track and mini golf experience all in one. First... the "zoo" is limited but still cool. They have turtles, birds, a gator, snakes and such. Young kids love it. You have two options to putt. You can golf through the cave (left) or over the cave (right). 18 holes of fun. We went in July and it was hot. A few well placed fan or misters would be greatly appreciated. A few of the holes had added fun with spin wheels and cool set ups. They have a private parking area and have a store where you can buy refreshments inside. read more

Signs said no parties bigger than 5 but they don't monitor or enforce it, there was a group of 8 in front of us slowing everyone else down. People skipped holes it was taking so long. Also, when we inquired about adding on the go karts after mini golf they were inflexible about the up charge for the two pack, they simply said no refunds and wanted to charge full price for the go karts even though the two pack was never brought up when we initially paid. Caveat... they are under construction as of the time of our visit. They are adding on a elevated go kart track that looks like it will be a ton of fun. Several of the holes are affected by the construction. However, things have been reconfigured so that you play a combined 26 holes rather than just the 18 hole course or 9 hole course. Some of the water features were turned off, understandably. The animals are fantastic! We finished our round just as one of the tortoises was being fed. I also want to say that all the staff we engaged were great! Very friendly! Cannot wait to come back on our next trip. read more

Very enjoyable time! The mountain golf course was cool! The feeding of the alligators was additional fun!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They keep their animals in terrible conditions. We went for the putt putt, but took one look at the place and left because we knew we didnt want to support their business. The snakes are kept in small cages with only water bowls, no branches or hide boxes or anything that even beginners know to include in enclosures. Parrots kept outside in the 100°+ heat, dirty cages, with only 1 perch and a couple toys. Again, even beginners should know to keep these birds in better conditions with more enrichment; they are too intelligent for such a boring lifestyle! A young alligator was kept in a cage with its mouth still taped shut. This place is shameful and does not deserve to call itself a zoo as their sign near the animals implied. Shame on you Golf N Gator! These animals deserve better! read more

Golf N Gator....the concept was good. The family came here for some miniature golf. What should've been a fun time of playing golf was more of like playing Angry Birds Underwater. Underwater games on the iPad are great! But, in real life, it just doesn't work. We paid for both one adult and one child to play. The price for adult was $10.99, children were $8.99. They have 2 different courses for you to play on. I can't remember which one we played on. But, as we went to our first hole, we could see everything was wet. It didn't get better. As we got to some of the other holes, there were bigger puddles. A couple of the holes were under 6 inches of water. If I wanted to play underwater golf, I could've done it on my iPad. The Gators? They were okay. There was one pond full of small gators. For about $5, you could feed the gators hot dogs from a stick. It was kind of like a fishing pole with out a hook. The child had fun feeding the gators. If you have more money to spend, you can hold a gator and get your photo taken. It could've been more fun if they had taken care of their golf course and had better drainage. My wife hated the place because of the puddles of water. I still can hear her complaining to me about the puddles of water on the course. Yes, playing miniature golf underwater is much harder in real life than it is on the iPad. I took the Cave route so I can't really give a complete review but here's my opinion. It's pretty decent, looks well-kept and the staff is friendly. The holes aren't super fancy but they're all in good shape. Some are aluminum-cupped while others are plastic (PVC) cupped so there are some odd results to be expected (the aluminum ones have a ridge that caught some of our balls while some of the more shallow plastic ones had our balls bouncing out after they'd gone in). I caught a slight whiff of the suplhur smell one other Yelper commented on but it didn't induce any gags and it was only on the last hole that I smelled it. Some of the waterways were dry when we were there so I'm not sure if that's a matter of choice or maintenance. The gator pond is kinda neat and all of the kids migrated there. You can buy "bait" inside that you tie to a rod and toss into the pond. The gators are on the smaller size and they greedily comply with feasting on your offer so no worries there. I didn't try and get any pictures taken with gators so I can't comment on that either. There is a small snack bar inside. Also, Gary (staff/owner?) gave us a discount for being locals. read more

OK the reason for three is because we had a good time miniature golfing. That's it I would've gave it a five, but there are no gators. Just a fake gator in a pond, I thought we were in Florida and they would have real gators, not a fake one. My daughter was upset because she was excited to see a live gator. We have been going to this place every year for the last five years and it gets better and better every time we go. It is well-maintained with friendly staff, decent food and drinks. You can even have a cocktail while you mini golf on one of two courses. Their new race track is also awesome. There are exotic animals and my kids were able to hold them! A must for any traveler in the area!!! The golf course is great and maintained. The employees were helpful fun and engaging. You can even take a beer or wine on the course with you. Everyone will love it. However, the true gem is the separate company of reptiles, birds and gators. You can actually feed alligators. For a fee, you will be given a cup of hot dog chunks, which you thread onto a Bobby pin at the end of a fishing pole. Such fun! For an additional fee you can hold a gator or snake and have your picture taken. The fees are not expensive and the money goes to help schools in the area learn about animal wealth and health. I was really excited to golf at this fun excursion! However, as the mini golf experience was great the music selection was below par (pun intended.) I decided to politely ask for the staff to change their music from depressing to upbeat. The lady simply said, "No." I personally feel like the poor music effected my play and it was not appreciated.
