I came here on Saturday night for dinner with my siblings and had a great time. We had made a reservation but apparently it was not in the system. Thankfully, we still got a table right away. To drink, I had the peachy leachy, which was so refreshing. To eat, I had the Wagyu steak and noodle bowl, which was very tasty. It is very seasoned and a bit spicy so if you prefer your meals simpler, do not order this dish. I liked it but I do think if it had less sauce, I would be able to taste the meat better as the flavors can be a bit overpowering. Overall, the service was amazing. Tap 42 in Doral is one of my favorite staples in Miami. I've been to several of their locations, and this one definitely keeps up the great vibe and experience. They do have valet here, and they validate it for you in the restaurant, which ended up being about $5 after validation. We walked in without a reservation, and it was fairly empty, so we got seated right away. The service was great, our drinks came out quickly and were delicious. I got my two favorite dishes: the Wagyu steak noodle bowl, which is amazing and super flavorful with a bit of a kick, and the Salmon Zen bowl, which has a truffle glaze and is one of the best salmon bowls I've ever had. On a work trip and stopped in for a quiet dinner at the bar. Had the fried chicken salad which was super tasty as well as being a generous portion size. (I was only able to finish half of it.). Had a margarita with dinner as well. The margarita was just OK for the price (I'm from San Diego and rather picky about margaritas.). Service was great. Bartender was nice and didn't rush me as I hung out and took care of emails. I liked the dining area. Lively but not too loud. I saw it on Yelp and It had good reviews. We were seated right away, around 5:30 on Saturday night. Our server was at our table within 2-3 minutes. Since we knew what we wanted, we ordered right away. I ordered The Big Smash and Janet ordered the Prohibition Burger. I ordered a beer called The Tank and Janet ordered The Funky Buddha. Our beers were brought to us pretty quickly. We both tried each of them. Delicious. Our food arrived in about 7-8 minutes. Unlike many places who cook and serve burgers, they suggested we have them medium well. A tad pinkish but juicy and delicious. The fries, a LOT of fries were fantastic. The ketchup and fry sauce were really good. Even though we were both pretty full, I ordered Key Lime Pie and it was amazing. Tart and creamy. Since this was probably the first authentic key lime pie I ever had, my judgement might be different than someone who has had a lot of key lime pie. Service was good and everyone was very friendly. Popped in here for a bite to eat while on a business trip. This was near my hotel (SpringHill Suites) and I walked over as parking at the restaurant is metered. The area surrounding Tap 42 is very cute and after dinner we walked around to exploring the charming area. For dinner, my colleague and I both had burgers and fries. We sat outside on the very comfortable patio and had a delightful waitress who we chatted with about the area, having never been to town ourselves. She and her fellow restaurant staff provided great service throughout our visit. Whoever was in charge of the playlist also had a nonstop list of 2000s jams. We sang along a few times! The burger was very tasty and sizable for a filling meal. My colleague really enjoyed the truffle fries while I thought my regular fries were also awesome. Forgot to take pics of the appetizers but my favorite appetizers are the street core guacamole and spicy salmon crispy rice! For entree I had the salmon zen bowl and it was so flavorful, my son got the burger which was good and my husband got the best thing on their menu which is the steak sandwich! I won't be ordering this again. I believe they changed the chimichurri sauce as well. Overall, at best, 3 stars. Would be a 2 star if the service was bad. I think there are other plates that are better. No loud music and we closed down the place on a Sunday at 10pm (they are open later on other nights). Wouldn't hesitate going back and neither should you! Protip: valet park, get validated by server and even with tip it's cheaper than parking garage (at least on weekends, weekdays you get two free hrs at garage).
