Great spot a block from UM graduate student's apartment! We have heard this is the spot for food and music if you are at UM and were so pleased with this spot. Our server was Chris, and he gave great suggestions and prompt service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was empty on Monday night, but the food was great![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered a beer flight, app of calamari, a tuna sandwich and a bucket of wings. All were really good! My son is a music student and will def be a regular! Glad to know we have a neighborhood bar to enjoy within walking distance.

The Rye Ale was nice and tasty down to its last drop!

We took a chance on a place we hadn't been to as we are never in the area. Part of our party is in a wheelchair and has a service animal, and they were extremely accommodating to their needs, even the awesome band(Crazy Talk) offered to keep down their speakers while we finished our meals. The service was great, house-brewer beer was tasty, and the prime rib GIANT and delicious. Definitely will try to come here again on the next trip down to Miami!

Stopped in with a friend for a quick beer while in the area. There is street parking in the front and a pay lot behind so decent parking. We sat at the bar. We were quickly greeted by the bartender. They had a few options on tap and we decided on some local brews. The beers were cold. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had in some decent music but my friend and I were able to hold a good conversation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We didn't try the food but it looked decent from what I saw come out of the kitchen. Definitely a good spot to stop in for a cold brew.

How many times have we come here for the Prime Rib just to be disappointed I really like this place but yall gotta figure it out The beers are good and I want to support local small places like this but when you are going to do something special make sure you execute They also live music which is always cool to a point If you aren't interested in listening to Cuban country music on your night and that's what's playing, it can be much. Again, appreciate the live music though so that's a hit or miss

Came for a beer and a bite. Lunch was on point; great mushroom burger and fires. The burger was perfect along with the House IPA. Perfectly balanced and pairs great with the burger and fries. Ask for Alex or Jenny during Sunday lunch, they'll take care of you. Don't forget to try the Bloody Mary they're great as well.

Titanic brewery never fails with great service, food and beer. My order was wrong when it came out, the server Chris came right after to make sure everything was correct. I let him know it wasn't and he promptly corrected it. Mistakes happen, but the speed and effort that Titanic's staff put in to correcting the issue doesn't compare to any other restaurants I've been to.

This was just a night of calamity. We waited over an hour for even appetizers. At first a server says the kitchen was overwhelmed. But there were only 5 tables waiting for food and a few people at the bar. Then we were told the kitchen staff got flustered. Then we were served soggy food. The chili cup was so tiny and doesn't take any effort, but still took more than an hour. The fried zucchini was soft and mushy with absolutely no flavor. The salmon didn't taste fresh and I couldn't even eat half of it. The chips were stale and rubbery. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was a live band that started about an hour after we got there. Maybe it was because we were already waiting so long for food but it seemed very loud for the amount of people that were there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's a shame the experience was so horrible. I generally try to support local businesses

So I was going to give a great review on this "Tuesday Burger Deal", but we learned there are caveats to this special. The $7.00 all day deal is for a PLAIN burger (lettuce, tomato & onion included), and french fries. Still a good deal. But beware that their posters say all burgers (yet anything added to the burger there is a charge) and the poster doesn't say it, but you are required to buy a beverage. Honestly, this would not have been that big of a deal, except the attitude of the manager or owner (not sure which he was) when he came over was immediately defensive and on the rude side. Besides the above I can say our burgers were cooked exactly how we requested, seasoned well, juicy, and our fries were hot.

Very cool place to watch a game! I didnt feel like i ws in miami. I am here for the dive sports bar feel! It is a brewery so all the beers are brewed here. Im not a huge beer drinker so i settled on the pineapple cider! Very tasty. To eat I had the grilled salmon salad. It was a decent sized piece of salmon with a delicious dijon dressing, goat cheese, onion, and cucumber. Good salad for a brewery! The only bummer is that their main TV frequently loses signal and they need to reset the TV. I would definitely return!

And then there are places that create such a perfect environment that every night feels memorable. John Martin's Irish Pub is one of those rare places. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the history and authenticity. This is not a place pretending to be an Irish pub. The atmosphere is real, warm, and inviting. The craftsmanship of the bar, the energy of the room, and the welcoming staff create a vibe that is incredibly hard to replicate. The whiskey selection is absolutely phenomenal. If you appreciate Irish whiskey, this place is paradise. Their collection is one of the most impressive in South Florida and the bartenders truly know their craft. The food deserves just as much praise. The shepherd's pie is honestly something to die for. Rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. The fish and chips are fantastic, the classic pub dishes are executed beautifully, and every plate feels authentic. Then there is the live music. The atmosphere during live performances is electric in the best way possible. It is lively, fun, and full of energy while still being a place where you can enjoy conversation and great company. But what truly transforms a great place into a perfect place is leadership. That is where Anna comes in. I first met Anna years ago when she was managing at another venue, and I witnessed firsthand how she handles people and situations. Her professionalism, calm leadership, and ability to create a welcoming environment stood out immediately. When I discovered she had become the General Manager here, I was excited to visit again. The transformation since she took over has been remarkable. The energy of the staff, the attention to detail, and the overall experience reflect the leadership behind the scenes. Anna is the heart of this place. As someone who manages a large company and hundreds of employees, I can say with complete honesty that she is one of the most impressive leaders I have ever seen in action. She leads by example, treats people with respect, and creates an environment where both staff and guests feel valued. There is something almost unbelievable about her positivity. Every time I see her she is smiling, welcoming guests, and making sure everyone is having a great experience. It is contagious. You leave feeling happier than when you arrived. That kind of leadership is rare. John Martin's is already an incredible establishment with amazing food, incredible whiskey, and one of the best atmospheres in Coral Gables. But with someone like Anna leading the team, the place continues to get better and better. Where she goes, I will always follow. Because every time I bring friends, family, or dates here, the night ends up being unforgettable. Miami is full of places to go out. Very few reach this level. John Martin's absolutely does.

Drinks took over 10minutes to get to the table, not alcoholic, waters, 1 soda, and 1 lemonade. Over 10minutes. Appetizers eventually came, no utensils, which I asked the hostess for, but the utensils made it AFTER the appetizer were finished and plates taken from the table. We ended up using our hands. Hostess advised she was still "working on getting the silverware" twice. How do you expect us to eat, no napkins, no linens, no silverware? Glasses ran empty, a friend in my party (6) ended up asking the hostess for a refill, which of course took a while as well. Though the restaurant was not busy, the food took forever. When it finally arrived, about half of the food was cold. Service was so slow, we couldn't even get it fixed...the server never came back until she asked if the checks were separate or together. I had a salad with tenders, the salad was nothing short of a bunch of spring mix, very little toppings, and tenders that tasted like they were made hours ago and didn't even bother to reheat. I asked whoever brought the food out for an extra dressing, but she never came back. I sat waiting for the server to switch my food but nothing, she'd walk past avoiding us. When she finally came to the table to ask about the checks, I told her I didn't want the salad, and she looked displeased and just walked away. I guess to have it taken off the check. Nonetheless, save yourself the poor service and eat at Yard House down the street. Menu and service are leads better than this place.

I wasn't in the mood for a big crowd and noise. This place has a lot of big screen tv's and had a great football game on the screens, which kept me and my husband entertained. The waitress was really nice and friendly. She gave great service. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and my guy ordered the scallops. Neither of us were very wowed with the food. He said some of the scallops didn't taste as fresh as he'd have liked and they came alone without any side and sautéed mushrooms- which he doesn't eat- and my grilled chicken was a little tough/chewy. It was also a small cutlet. On the bright side, we both agreed that the sweet potato fries were delicious! Prices were reasonable for the dishes we got, but some other menu items seemed on the higher side. I hope they taste better and are better than what we got for the price they are asking, as our food was mid. Overall, I would drop in again if the occasion called for it, but this wouldn't be a place I'd made an effort to return to.
