My nephew's birthday was held here and I must say it was a wonderful first-time visit experience. Not sure if it was because of the upcoming holiday but for a Saturday afternoon just before Thanksgiving this place was soooooo quiet which probably made this visit even better. Located just off Mansell and next door to Sam's Club, parking was a breeze and the only issue we had was due to built up traffic from Sam's Club when we were leaving. There was plenty of space for the kiddos to have the time of their life with bowling, laser tag, and arcade games. There's an obstacle course as well but I did not see anyone on it. I liked that there were two huge separate spaces for bowling and the graphics for the kiddos bowling time was festive and they had bumpers and this cute little dinosaur assist that they could use to push the bowling ball down and they loved it. The arcade space was huge and there were a ton of options for all ages. Unfortunately a lot of the games were not working so we ended up playing a lot of the same game multiple times. For those who win enough "tickets" there's a huge "Winner's Circle" room to select the prize(s) of your choice. The kiddos also played laser tag and had a complete blast! There's a huge restaurant space and pizza spot inside but both were closed at the time. The bar area was nice and there were a good people hanging around there watching games. There a big open space for those celebrating birthdays but no private rooms that I could see so while there were several parties happening at the same time, there were moments of chaos between kids from different groups being in the same space and the tables for each groups being in pretty close proximity. The person who was assigned to our group did her best to manage our large party but she was handling everything (food, drinks, taking any additional orders) on her own. This is my 3rd year bringing my Summer Camp kids. It is big and of course very loud due to so many groups of kids there. We ran into several problems. (1) The bowling ball kept getting jammed which delayed our game on lanes 13 & 14. Our 3rd lane had no problems. (2) I was asked if I wanted my group to eat 30 minutes early due to them having a larger group that will be eating the same time as us, (we made reservations), (3) I was told they would get our order for which kids wanted pepperoni or cheese pizza, then they young lady told me I did not select it on my reservation; however, I told her I was told we would give our selection before you cooked the food, (4) the Air Hockey pucks did not come out when we swiped the cards to play and the balls did not come out for Skee Ball. It was very disappointing and I had the arcade game problems last summer with my camp. We will go to other choices of this same venue going forward. read more

I usually have a good time going to Main Event and we enjoyed their $40 for $20 game card special as well as the Kids Eat Free on Tuesdays this time. However, this location really missed the mark all around. The bowling and games in particular are not well-maintained. - Food: We ordered the cheese stuffed crust pizza but they later told us the kitchen had run out (even though it was 6:30pm at the beginning of the week). The seasonal fruit that came with the kids meal was a very meager portion of 2 tiny watermelon pieces. - Bowling: They initially gave us Lane 5 but the right bumper was stuck in the up position. The worst part was that they admitted they knew that it was broken. On top of that, just a short while later, they gave the same lane to a new group!! I couldn't believe it. They reassigned us to Lane 6, which also had a broken bumper (half of the left bumper was gone). - Games: many of the games were broken and we wasted game points on them. The VR headset kept getting loose when we tried to put it in the tightest position. The basketball game to the very right didn't register points. The soccer game was not working at all. The bouncing tile game was missing tiles. One of the large basketball games got the balls stuck in the net. I came here with a couple friends last month and it was an absolute dumpster fire. It was a Thursday night, super quiet honestly, and this is what we experienced: - multiple of the game card kiosks were not functional - game cards aren't cheap and TONS!!!! Of the games were broken/jammed/needed servicing - the bathrooms were completely out of paper towels and multiple soap dispensers were out - bathroom needed cleaning - the ticket redemption area was completely closed off and unmanned This place totally sucks. What a waste of money. Just look at the pictures, almost every single basketball hoop had balls jammed. We had a soccer machine get messed up while using it. One of the air hockey tables charged our card and then didn't release a puck. Many games were just completely dark and not useable. The fact that they charge people for this is mind blowing. You get a game card because you think you'll actually be able to play the games... oh and redeem your tickets. Think again! Also, when it's completely quiet, you can't service your bathroom? Come on. Came here for a quick outing with family. Getting bowling shoes went smoothly after that everything went down hill. Our waiter was new no fault to him we've all been new on a job. He was nice and trying to help as much as he could but his manger and team are just incompetent and unprofessional. Our food took forever when it finally came they forgot my wife's order. So we waited another 20min before we were able to ask someone where is her food. When it finally arrives it's wrong smh. Now it's time to leave and our waiter is helping another customer that has an issue, again not his fault. We wait and wait and wait until finally we get a manager to try and check us out. The manger we didn't get his name was a tall African American male . He was unprofessional and dismissive I would ask how he got the position but "managing" a main event requires 2 brain cells. May 3, 2026 visit: Pros: Ate lunch at the bar, the bartender was attentive, and delivered our food fresh, hot and promptly. Value of food was good. Reward center attendant was attentive and friendly. The facility was very clean. Games all appeared to be in good working order. Cons: Oh, where to start?! I have never visited a Main event property with such lazy, apathetic and disrespectful main desk workers. The two young men working the front desk on the afternoon of May 3 were more interested in their phones, talking to each other, eating their snacks and ignoring customers standing at the desk or in line. They did a great sales job of talking us into buying the all you can play $29 promotion that is prominently displayed at the front door, and front desk. While the signage indicates it's an "all you can play" package including a lunch entrée, and unlimited extra activities like mini golf, gravity ropes, bowling and laser tag. The workers definitely don't tell you that there's an additional bowling shoe charge, and the gaming credit equals about $10 or three games and they don't have golf on site. The ropes are closed until nighttime and laser tag requires an appointment and they were on an hour and a half waitlist and the FreePlay is limited to credits. He probably would've let all of that slide. Had they not been such disrespectful and rude to us. We came through the line several times with many questions and each time had to literally stand at the counter while they finished up with their phones or eating chips, or waved us down to where they were leaning against the counter so that they did not have to move to meet us at the actual cash register. While there is a good variety of games to play they are quite expensive compared to other places. Averaging around 8 or 9 credits per game Clearly workers who hate their jobs. terrible terrible terrible! Avoid this place. read more

Its been years since ive been back at main event and this was for a job event. It was fun, nobody was there except two working groups. I played lazer tag, bowling and they gave us a card to play the individual games. I played basketball, Pac man etc snd I just felt like a kid again. Main Event has always been pretty cool in my book. Aside from being referred to as "sassy," most of the employees seemed to be preoccupied. There was an extreme lack in communication and customer service. I honestly felt like I was the one on the clock; constantly running back and forth to troubleshoot their inefficiencies. This was first time at this establishment and I can see now why the ratings are so low. I'm sure working in this environment can seem repetitive. I encourage you all to remember that your customers don't work here. Your day to day isn't as obvious to us as it may be to you. I brought 6 kids here for my son's birthday, and unfortunately, it ended up being more frustrating than fun. A bunch of arcade machines didn't work even after scanning our card -- which adds up when you're trying to entertain a group. Half the air hockey tables had no puck or didn't keep score properly, one of the games where you're supposed to toss 6 balls only had 3, the soccer game didn't work and had no ball, and the throwing game with targets had half of them already stuck down. Not exactly what you want when you're trying to keep kids engaged and excited. I get that claw machines aren't supposed to be easy, but most of these barely closed halfway -- they looked broken more than anything. Pizza tasted like every other frozen pizza. I'm not sure what that's about but other than that laser tag was great. I've been a few times for birthday parties so thought I'd take kids for the afternoon to get them out of the house and save my sanity. First off, It's not cheap. I mean it's bordering on extortion. After a few minutes of playing, Kids wanted pizza and against my better judgement I relented and paid $24 for "cardboard pizza" (their words) . Only two slices were eaten. The game card which I dropped $100 on was gone within 30mins. I've seen one of my kids' toilet sessions last longer..To top it off we stood around waiting and asking when the little store, where kids trade their tickets for tacky rewards would open - as the person had gone awol and no one knew where the prize giver was. Thankfully, after 25mins someone turned up so my kids could pick up some crap and leave to finally get some digestible food. read more

Fun Friday night with the family. Surprisingly not very busy on a Friday night at 8pm. Tons of parking available outside, decently clean facility (minus plenty of empty cups everywhere I turned). Large, spacious and well stocked restrooms. Tons of games to play in the arcade but a handful of games took my money and we weren't able to play (Snow down, Barrel of monkeys, Skee ball, Gold Fishin', Toy Zone Claw Game). My husband and son were able to play laser tag in about 10 minutes which was great. They had a good time and said the laser tag was 2 levels. We didn't try any of the food but we did grab drinks from the bar. Pricey, but we expected that. My son loved the cotton candy Shirley temple with candy and color changing straw. Absolutely Disgusted - Fraudulent Charge and Awful Service If I could give zero stars, I would. I had one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had at Main Event, and to top it all off, their server FORGED a $10 tip on my receipt. Yes, you read that right--fraud. I left no tip because the service was beyond unacceptable: rude, inattentive, and slow. The audacity to then add a fake tip without my authorization is not only dishonest--it's illegal. I didn't even notice the fraudulent charge until THREE DAYS later when it finally posted. So not only did I walk away unimpressed and irritated, I also got robbed after the fact. This is completely unacceptable and shows a serious lack of integrity at this location. I will be filing a dispute with my bank and reporting this incident to the appropriate authorities. Management clearly needs a wake-up call and better oversight over their staff. If you value your time, your money, or your dignity--go literally anywhere else. read more

Far and away the worst Main Event experience I've had in my life. Came and started trying to bowl. Our lane was broken and the bumpers on one side would not go down. After trying to fix it myself, I asked staff for help with the lane or to move to another one. They moved me to a different lane after a while (I had to ask to be given my time back that was wasted on a broken lane). After 5-10 minutes on this new lane we realized it was also broken and counting random pins knocked down when they were never touched and randomly sweeping pins when you still had another throw. I asked for a refund because clearly all the lanes are broken. They offered to give me the amount I paid for bowling as credit for the arcade. Against better judgement, I accepted... This somehow led to an even worse experience than the bowling. 85% of the machines were broken or missing parts and the other 15% were so disgusting and slime coated you should probably be mandated a mask while in the danger zone. Each time we went to a machine, it felt like a gamble. Let's swipe our money on this machine and cross our fingers it works and isn't missing every single piece. I played ski ball with 1 ball which I found underneath one of the basketball machines. I swiped to play the soccer game. The dumb ass goalie was yelling at me to shoot a phantom ball at him that was never provided to me. It was seriously comical how bad this experience was. If you want to experience the most ratchet, busted, stinky, slime-infested Main Event in the world, this has to be top of your list. If your objective is to have fun with the family or basically anything other than contract a sickness, I would stay far, far away. read more

We had our baseball team end of year party here and the kids had a blast. We got a set of tables, ordered a bunch of pizzas, got game cards for the team, and let them have at it! It was pretty much planned at the last second but they were able to accommodate us with no issue. The pizzas were ok, the games were fun, and the adults got to relax and talk a bit over a couple of beers and wine. (Even got to watch a bit of football too!) There was no service in the eating section for us... we put the table ls together, we went up to counter to order, we got our own drinks, we picked up and served the food... but for a fun time that the kids loved it was perfect! We visited on a Monday early afternoon and there were hardly any staff working. There was a long line forming in the prize room and no staff to be found anywhere. We went to find someone and apparently, we had to wait until people got off the ropes course so the staff working that could come help check people out. We waited about 20 minutes. Also, many of the games were out of order or shut off. I would stick to Dave N Busters next time. read more

If I could have given this location a ZERO I would have! The Hubby and I love to play pool, so we love to keep our skills up by playing on different tables! This experience was awful! From the check in to the check out ....awful! Food was horrible! The atmosphere was a bunch of teens just throwing around pool balls, and the staff all just sat around on their phones! Food was definitely subpar and over salted! The hubby ordered a medium rare burger and received a well done burger! This was after asking specifically "do you temp burgers here?" We went on a Monday Night for the arcade special and was absolutely disappointed. - Half the arcade games were broken, turned off, or missing balls. Any games that were missing balls were stuck in another machine and couldn't retrieve them. The lights were off on literally half the machines or wouldn't accept the time card. - Bathrooms were unkept. Sink sensors weren't running except for one, paper towels and soap dispensers were empty. - The bar said they were out of a lot of ingredients for drinks so you could only order either tap or 2 cocktails on the entire menu. - Not sure when the Prize Shop is supposed to close but it closed at 10:30ish, well before closing time on a Monday so nobody could redeem their credits. Overall, quite disappointed but tried to have a good time because we already spent the money. This location is far behind the Suwanee location, which I believe is top tier and had never let us down. read more

Main Event is great if you're looking for fun family entertainment. They offer a very large space with tons of rooms to sit and chill or play by means of bars, billiards, bowling, arcade and laser tag. As much as I loved the concept I do have some concerns that made our group experience most uncomfortable. Their AC wasn't working and didn't have the courtesy of informing patrons upon entering that it's on the Frits but instead wait till you pay for the day pass and then discover it to be a hotbox when you start to exert yourself. I was floored to realize that the place was well over 80 degrees on a excessive heat warning day and staff didn't do much in alleviating the issue like providing fans or water stations. For an establishment where you will be moving and shaking they should've accommodated patrons that decided to stay a lot better. Not cool in so many ways. When you arrive, you'll wait in a long line (bowling usually has 2-3 hour wait times). If you play laser tag, you'll wait in another line. When you go to cash in your credits for gifts, there's another line. Not the friendliest of staffs. The arcade games - a good 30% of them are broken. No clear signage that a game is broken, you have to swipe your card and find out if you wasted credits on a broken game. Good luck finding an employee for assistance. We probably wasted 50 or so credits on broken games. And kids just running rampant everywhere. We saw one kid climbing on the skeeball machine to try and score the highest. It was just all around a very dysfunctional place. They could benefit from signage (like we didn't know "fun cards" are needed for the arcade. I feel like that should be a clear sign at the register). Confusing menu causes people to get up to the register and have to ask 10 questions. I don't blame them. This spot was great to us. We went around 3 or 4 ish and it wasn't many people there but the food. The service and food was crazy good. It felt good taking my family on vacation and visiting this spot. We had the breadsticks, pizza, wings, fries, Mac and cheese, chicken strips and nachos(don't judge us). We wanted to taste everything and it was my family along with my sisters family and everybody enjoyed their food and games. The environment was clean and well kept. Never again ... had a birthday for my daughter there ... when we first arrived we had to sign a contract and pay the deposit or whatever... we started bowling maybe 20 mins into bowling they tell us the pizza is out which we thought was fast ... so we asked them to bring the pizza over which they wouldn't ... so we went and ate thinking they would allow us to come back and bowl ... one of my guest was watching out things at the lane and came over and said they gave your lane away ... after have issue after issue with the lane ... first the pins wouldn't come down ... then the gate for the pins got stuck so I'm thinking they'll at least be considerate and add time back since there machine was malfunctioning ... but no ... so when I asked why they gave my lane away the customer service agent says did u sign the contract online or in the office ... so I said is there a difference he says no but you would've read that the lane is only occupied for an hour ... and I said you all brought the pizza out before we were ready and your bowling lanes were malfunctioning he said we have no control over the bowling lanes ... and does this number ‍ read more

First off, a big THANK YOU to Russell for his excellent customer service. This business is lucky to have him, and these two stars are for him. As for our visit, it was primarily for bowling with a 4 & 5 yr old. Started off on a lane, and the pin tender froze up. Off to a 2d lane, and the pins weren't even set. Third lane, and 4 balls never came back to us, and pins were dropping from the pin tender. The kids got in a whopping 2 frames each before we packed it in and got our money back. Russell came through and got our refund, and comped 2 future bowling sessions (which we'll give away). We then spent $35 on a game card for the kids that was zeroed out in about 25 mins. We noticed what appeared to be two maintenance workers (???) playing a virtual reality game. Maybe they were on break at 1130 or maybe they didn't work the bowling lanes? I went here with my family to have some fun to anger out of the house, and i went to do the think where you have to balance and your suspended in air, but anyways i went to do this and the woman working there was INCREDIBLY racist. There was an African American child that got to the line way after me but she let him go first. Came on a Saturday night around 9:30-10 to join some friends . When we arrived they were already bowling. They stated they haven't seen the server in over half an hour . So me & a friend went to the bar to get drinks. We've been standing here for about 20 mins . There's a line of people and 2 bartenders. I would not suggest coming here if you're trying to eat and drink. Just to bowl. Lanes are clean and spacious for the most part. They have pool, an arcade, and other activities. Bathrooms were clean except for water on the floors around the toilets (gross!) but overall i give this establishment 2 starts only when we walked in the host told us they were getting cursed out all night for being understaffed. obviously Saturdays are gonna be your busiest nights , over schedule and cut if not needed. I took my son here since we were in the area and it was an overcast day. I had previously been here before and didn't think I'd be back. I realized quickly why I had told myself I wasn't coming back. I purchased a game card for $50, and we headed to play our favorite game, the giant space invaders two-player. My son is really good at this game and we always get the 500 ticket bonus. As we were playing, my son noticed they changed the bonus from 26k points to 53k points. We didn't even come close and my son decided he didn't want to play it anymore. Bummer. We ventured over to air hockey and noticed it was $1.80 per game. On top of that, the air wasn't working properly in the middle and the puck kept getting stuck there. Ugh. We wondered around and played the connect 4 basketball game a few times. Then we pretty much used the rest of the game card on the wizard of oz game. We didn't even make it 45 minutes before the card was gone. I'm not impressed, period. This is my last visit to this main event. Complete waste of money. I ended up spending $12 at putt putt down the street and we had more fun and that lasted over an hour. read more

Bowling is fun! Waitstaff is wonderful! Food and drinks were good! But the bowling overlords who work the front desk are very rude. Their responses to any questions about bowling and the games were met with such rude responses. Other than finally trying virtual reality for the first time--which, by the way, was ah-MAY-zing!--NOTHING about this place made us feel like it valued our business or was worthy of visiting again (other than to burn up the extra credits we purchased). Let's breakdown "nothing," shall we? -- Customer service: The front desk people are attentive enough, but then again, this is where they make their money. Reminds me a lot of apartment leasing agents that are your best buddies until you sign a lease, and then POOF! Because, try to find anybody polite or helpful (looking at you, VR guys) or in general (tried looking for you, invisible billiards and arcade help). -- Arcade / video games: Some of the classic carnival-style games "worked" in that they took your credits, but then the game wouldn't play. The video games seem interesting at first, but they are mostly variations on the same "race" or "shoot" themes. Where were the retro video games that were advertised? -- Bowling: They need to call it something else. There's no lane etiquette at all (regardless of age), the lanes are beat to heck, and the seizure-inducing and weirdly dim lighting make the game harder than it already is. -- Food: Yeah, right, I'm gonna pay $5 slice?
