I walked in today at 2:35pm with my girlfriend and no one greeted us. On top of that we go to place an order, and the woman at the register just stared at us. I asked the woman how she was doing (she had many facial piercings) and just looked at us. All three ladies working looked miserable. Hire people who actually care, cause at this point, they should be replaced with robots. It'll cut down your labor costs. I've been to plenty of playa bowls before, and this one is absolutely the worse location to go to. If you want terrible service, and want your food to be made like they don't care, this is the perfect place to go. I'd highly recommend going anywhere else but here. read more

Food was fine, but some concerns with staff. First, all four members of the team were constantly on their phone, all eating personal food in the front, and worst of all - I watched one of the employees repeatedly eat the leftover smoothie out of a blender with a spoon (double-dipping style). The other things can be overlooked since these seem to be teens learning the basics of professionalism. But as a person with OCD, the last thing absolutely ruined Playa Bowls for me. I just don't like the thought that the blender used for customer's smoothies was repeatedly eaten out of by someone. read more

I wanted to like this place, but after 2 orders (both made online for pickup) I would have to suggest one look towards other similar places. On both orders, I ordered the Kowabunga smoothie + chia seeds added. On both they failed to add the seeds. The first order I also ordered watermelon refresh, which they were out of but refunded. The 2nd order I again tried to get a watermelon refresh, but again they were out and convinced me to substitute with a blue mermaid drink. One I got home, I realized the blue mermaid drink expired on 06-05-22, and my second order when I received it was on 06-23-22. So there are some serious issues with this place.
