Entrance at the Gilbert location- Ray and Higley
    Moncerrath N.

Came in for the grand opening! It is a new location- Ray and Higley. The staff is friendly, enthusiastic and welcoming. They have a few tables to sit inside and one outside table. Their menu has alot of options to select from- acai bowls, pitaya bowls, coconut bowls, oatmeal bowls, green bowls, banana bowls, mango bowls, smoothies, juices and their special menu items. There is a great variety. I ordered the Electric Mermaid bowl,$14- it is a pitaya bowls that comes with granoloa, pineapple, mango, kiwi, coconut flakes, honey and I added strawberries for and additional $. It is a beautiful bowl that is not too sweet. The fruits tasted fresh and I enjoyed the bowl.

Playa Bowls is one of my favorite places to eat, and this new location is no different! The staff are always very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself is clean and well-managed. I feel that the food is fairly priced for the amount and quality of ingredients you get-and I highly recommend the Stupid Cupid Bowl-it's my favorite!

I came to the grand opening and had a great experience. Great and friendly staff. We received free shirts and got to test their wonderful iced coffee. The store was extremely decorated (not just for the event) and gave off a very exciting morning wake up vibe. They have an extensive menu that has something for everyone. My friend ordered the electric mermaid bowl and added strawberries, the bowl was filled to the brim and fruit was extremely fresh. I ordered the Coco Bowl, it came with coconut, bananas, mango, pineapple, and granola. The Coco Bowl was delicious, the fruit was fresh and the granola was a great addition because it added a complimentary needed texture to the bowl. The bowl was also filled to the brim and was so big that I had the rest of it for breakfast on another day. Playa Bowls is such a fun and healthy way to start your morning, definitely recommend.

Since discovering this location a few weeks ago, have been there 3 times already. I love the Nutaya Bowl and the Nutella Bowl! These are my favorites so I typically go for a half and half! Love that I can customize, stack up on my points for discounts, service is always friendly & fast. I also like the decor of this location. It is brand new!

So thrilled to see a healthy and fresh desert and smoothie spot open up! Came in and tried their smoothies and bowls and we were taken aback by all the delicious options! I went with the Pink Pitaya smoothie which was delicious and refreshing and my mom chose the Lola green bowl which she loved. I love the beachy surfer theme wnd the service here is quick and friendly!

Nice to have another acai bowl spot in Gilbert! We got the protein tropical acai bowl, add peanut butter and a split base mango & banana bowl. Both were good! Definitely will be back to try more bowls.

HAPPILY EVER AFTER…read more.. Came here for the grand opening in the late afternoon and couldn't eat dinner afterwards! I mean that in a good way. The bowls are hefty and full, so they fill you up. if you are going to get full, you might as well get full on goodness of healthy ingredients. The bowls are constructed with care and neatly arranged to make it as delightful to look at as they taste. It is nice that they have signature bowls on the menu for those indecisive, choosy people. But you can freestyle your bowl to customize what ingredients you want as well. The Pitaya base was like a sorbet / ice cream and the chia seed pudding was not slimy or weird, but added a nice parfait texture. They both went well together in the BLUE LAGOON bowl which was overall very refreshing, especially on a warm day. There are 2 sizes of bowls, Regular and Large but the Regular size is 16 ounces! A whole pound of food! So that is plenty for one person. The Large is definitely a shareable size (24 oz). Sharing is caring so you can bring a group here. I can see this place being a hang out, as there is quite a bit of space with tables inside and also a patio area. If you are new to Acai Bowls, you might think it is pricy for 1 portion, but you get what you pay for. You pay almost $10 for a fast food meal that is processed junk. But by spending a little more, at least you are eating healthy and get surprisingly stuffed (with possible leftovers) from the bowls. This place can be good for a morning boost with offerings such as smoothies and toast. Or even come here for dessert, make it a happy ending. There are ice cream sandwiches for purchase. But, why not normalize smoothies and acai bowls for dessert? How you feel is a direct result of what you put into your body. Across the parking lot is McDonalds like the devil, and the angel, Everbowl, both on your shoulders. Which one is enticing you? Do yourself and your family a favor, choose the health of your loved ones so they will have an Unbelieve-a-bowl Happily Ever After.

Based on the ingredients and calorie count, I ordered the Go Green: graviola, banana, spinach, kale, dates, mint, organic spirulina, and almond milk for $8.79 and only 220 calories. There were a couple of young ladies working. One made the smoothie and the other one seemed to be wiping down the cutting boards. It was kinda bizarre as she barely touched the cutting boards with her towel and the boards were clearly not cleaned at all. She then just disappeared. The one making the smoothie was struggling big time shaking the blender pretty hard the entire time. She was struggling so much to get the smoothie into the cup and I saw her using her hand to get it out. Thank goodness she was wearing gloves but she was touching the blender the whole time! I even asked her to use a spatula but nope. The smoothie was ok, I could taste bits of what I assumed was the graviola. It was extremely filling and 4.5 hours later I'm still full. I like their menu but probably won't return to this location due to the lack of cleaning and sanitizing practices here.

My current obsession is their new Mango Sticky Rice parfait. OMG. It is SO GOOD! Fresh mango, coconut, and that creamy Greek yogurt together are just perfection. I honestly can't even describe how good it is!! you just have to try it. Their Greek yogurt flavors are phenomenal too. They have everything from strawberry and lemon to good old-fashioned vanilla, plus different flavors to try depending on what you're in the mood for. Another thing I absolutely love about this place is that it goes beyond the yogurt. Inside, they carry products from local vendors and so many fresh and natural items....milk, cheeses, drinks, and other goodies you can take home. I love being able to support a local business that also supports other local businesses. I seriously wish we had MORE places like this instead of so many commercial, overly processed options everywhere. Fresh, local, delicious, and something you can actually feel good about eating. This place is such a gem!

My mom had come across…read morethe place on TikTok and since it was hot out and we were already out in the area shopping, we decided to stop in. I had known about this place for a while but did not know they had a whole merch section as well as many other goodies besides dairy products. Thankfully, it wasn't too busy so we were able to walk right up to the counter and begin ordering. The woman behind the counter asked us if it was our first time in and then proceeded to be the kindest person ever and give us as many samples as we wanted. She explained their yogurt-making process, how often they made new batches each week, and the nutrition breakdown of the flavors as well. I sampled the honey lemon flavor, which was nice and smooth. It had that sour taste to it (it IS greek yogurt after all). I also tried the coconut, which was not my choice, the woman said that was her favorite and handed me the sample spoon lol. I don't even like coconut but I thought it was a nice coconut flavor. My mom decided to order a small container of the peanut butter flavor and the honey date flavor. She added honey granola on top. I also ordered the caramel flavor and honey date flavor, with granola and banana slices on top. My brother ordered the strawberry shortcake smoothie. The yogurt was creamy and tasty. The peanut butter was by far my favorite. I felt that the caramel and the honey date kind of tasted the same, so mixed together it worked fine. The granola was crunchy and sweet, and the banana slices were perfectly ripe. My brother loved his strawberry shortcake smoothie. The total came out to $26 dollars, which is kind of steep in my opinion, but it is fresh, homemade Greek yogurt with as many toppings as you want essentially. The service we got really bumped this place up to the 5 star rating.

The cocoa nibs were not blended enough so I had to chew them. I do like that they have a lot of options across the whole menu! They had a lot of healthy treats to choose from.
