    Vegan Desserts
    Lo B.

A little out of the way, but so worth the stop if you're around! Their vegan food and desserts are super clean, fresh, and made with minimal ingredients. I love their AZ Sunrise smoothie--it even comes with cute fruit on top. I tried the macrobiotic salad bowl; it was a bit bland and could use more of the yellow dressing, but it was filling. Now their dessert section is next-level--rich, decadent, and dense, so whatever you pick will be indulgent. Definitely a five-star spot for thoughtful vegan fuel. Wish I lived closer! 050425

Breakfast Burrito - refried beans One of my favorites to start the day with :)

I have not been able to have gluten for many years, and as of a year ago or so - I discovered dairy makes me sick as well. It can be very challenging to find restaurants that have foods available that I can have, but Linden Organic hits all of the marks! Their food is always amazing, the breastfast burritos are a perfect way to start your mornings! The service there is always kind and helpful when asking about the foods they're serving that day in a display case. It's always a very calm and peaceful environment to be in. I've never been inside and felt hurried/rushed, or overwhelmed by other customers. It truly is a wonderful spot for both gluten and dairy allergies, the best part being that you know you won't have a risk of cross-contamination. :)

    Vegan "Tuna" Sandwich

The tuna sandwich is great. It has a potato base as the tuna and is yummy. The store is nice and quaint with two tables inside and two tables outside. Lots of desserts to try after you enjoy your sandwich. The service is kind and helpful.

I discovered Linden Organic while I was pregnant and was searching for somewhere that promoted healthy organic food and drinks - I'm a huge fan! I like variety & am slowly trying all the smoothies on their menu; my favorites so far are the AZ Sunrise & PB & J. I've tried their breakfast burrito, cheesecake, & double chocolate protein muffin - everything so far has tasted delicious! Their staff is incredibly kind & they have always greeted me with a smile. It's a clean & cozy little smoothie shop & I love that they are open earlier now at 7am so I can grab something on the way to work. Highly recommend for any expecting mamas - their nutritious organic smoothies were good for baby and helped me stay hydrated during our extra hot triple digit summers!

Delicious! Little pricy but great clean and healthy ingredients. Great post hike snack!

Mindful Matcha, Chocolate Donut, Snickers Bar

I stopped by Linden Organic because they are an all organic, vegan, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free cafe and I've wanted to check them out for awhile now. There are a couple tables inside (2) but it's more of a grab and go. They have a lot of good stuff - including coffee (but I already had mine this morning) so I opted for the: Mindful Matcha Smoothie Chocolate donut Snickers bar Tasty stuff and friendly.

Very welcoming folks and a wonderful variety of delicious plant-based breakfast foods, smoothies, bowls, espresso and tea.

What a fun place! The menu is a lot to take in, so I suggest looking beforehand so you have an idea of what you want. The place is quaint, with a few small tables inside to sit down and eat. We went with the Maca bowl (which is easily shareable between 2-4 people), snickers bar, vegan tuna sandwich and their Chickpea salad (in their to go section). I also got their matcha latte with almond milk. Everything was awesome and the owner was super kind and welcoming. The vegan tuna sandwich is clearly the superstar and honestly, a piece of art. I will be thinking about that sandwich for a while, it's so good.

    Heirloom Tomato Toast

Love a good vegan spot, especially ones with healthy/organic food! This is just a small place, you can order stuff to be made or some premade options. I had a hard time deciding between the avocado toast or the heirloom tomato toast, but I get avocado toast all the time so I went for the heirloom tomato toast! It had cashew cheese on it, micro greens, red onion, and a lemon to squeeze. Food came out in a reasonable time, no complaints for service. The food was so so incredibly fresh. YUM! Was refreshing. Only complaint was that it was really expensive but I guess that makes sense for an organic place. Would def stop by again.

Hidden in the southwest plaza, is a cute vegan spot that serves baked treats, smoothies, food, and of course açaís bowls. I got the original acai bowl with came in one size only and probably be shared with at least two people. Nicely presented, the base had plenty of unsweetened acai, grain fee granola (a bit hard but let it sit in the acai to soften up), fresh strawberries, bananas, 2 thin slices of green apple, cocoa nibs, and topped with coconut shavings. Everything was top notch! Recommended the acai bowls here. Looking forward to trying other ones on the menu. Plenty of parking but can get busy. Tables were clean, they do have a restroom for customers, and the staff were great.

    Black Forest Smoothie

I really love the smoothies here! Everything is gluten free and is labeled as far as soy and dairy. I appreciate that. Small shop with good service. It is on the pricey side but it's to be expected for the quality of ingredients. I love the Black Forest and mermaid smoothies, peanut butter oat bar and "tuna."

If you are one of those people that love to know every single ingredient in your food, this is your place. That being said, it is definitely reflected in the price. My smoothie was $16 for reference, and that's with no modifications or add ons. And let me clarify that when I say healthy, it was still delicious. Their menu is so detailed and includes so many fun and different variations of smoothies that you've probably never even thought of. Not to mention, all of the smoothies we got were so colorful and fun! They also have some fun little protein treats and some other options like smoothie bowls as well. Will definitely be back, likely by myself when I want to treat myself or with a group of girls. I will not be taking my husband here as I can already see him rolling his eyes at the prices when he gets a smoothie that is not as sweet as his Jamba Juice but that right there should tell you quite a bit about the smoothies. They are a million times better and better for you than what you will likely find at your chain smoothie joint.

Pretty much all my favorite things under one roof. I was in desperate need of additional nutrients after some travel and knew that green juice would do the trick. I snagged 'The Valley' juice which included organic cucumber, apple, lime, parsley, kale, basil, collards, and spinach. I also ordered the half Avo Smash, a thick piece of toast layered with avocado, lemon, house-made Thai tiger sauce, microgreens, paprika, turmeric, everything seasoning, and an added sliced hard boiled egg. This toast was insanely good. I already have plans to copy it as soon as I get home. Don't even bother ordering the half. You'll end up wanting the whole. Love to see options like this when visiting Phoenix.

The two employees are nice and friendly, most always are, but that wasn't my problem with this visit. The kid making the shake you could tell was having problems, and after blending the shake for a while, took it off the blender to add more almond milk because he said it was too icy, understandable. Once he finally completed making it, he tries to put a lid on it, but it's overflowing with liquid coming down the sides, he tried to clean up the cup, but just handed it to me anyways liquid still all over the sides. Annoyed, I just walked out of the store. Praying I have napkins in my truck so I can just clean it up. I start taking a couple sips and realize I don't taste any oats, the stack shake comes with oats and I taste it every time I order one. I walked back in super annoyed at this point and ask " hey man, are you sure you put oats in here?" he replies with " yeah I think I definitely put them in there".... My problem is these shakes aren't cheap, I shouldn't question whether you forgot one of the ingredients I'm paying for or not, and I certainly shouldn't have shake oozing out of the cup while in my car. Just all around bad. Do better.

As a health food vegan, I am always on the lookout for food like this: whole foods/plant-based, including some oil-free options. Their whole menu reads like a list of my favorite food buzzwords: buckwheat, lentil cauliflower scramble, sunflower seed meat, local fermented sauerkraut, freshly milled Sonoran wheat; tempeh, sourdough, homemade seeded bread, homemade cashew milk, etc. etc. It was legitimately hard to decide what to get. I went with the baked(!) strawberry banana oat buckwheat pancakes. Super tasty, and a generous portion. I also couldn't resist an oil-free sunbutter cookie (with its wacky bluegreen tinge that was apparently from the sunflower seeds) and also loved the cold brew coffee with cashew milk.
