I'm in Phoenix for a wedding! I'm an avid juicer, so I was really missing my morning juice today! Genuinely Fresche was just around the corner from my hotel! This place is adorable, I live in Nashville where it's very gloomy this time of yea, so I really appreciated the way they let the sunshine in. They were also playing some very chill easy listening music. The staff was so kind! They had a build your own juice option that made my heart happy! This juice was fresh and oh so delicious! Highly recommend! 20 minutes later... lol So, one thing I noticed was that everyone who came in ordered bowls, so before I left, I got one of those too! So yum! read more

Overall, the service was quick and excellent. The atmosphere was clean. The Chia seed pudding was not what I expected, but it was still good. The peanut butter açai bowl had a weird texture. I expected more of a layered texture, but instead it all seemed blended together. I was not impressed. I think overall it is good quality, but I probably won't return. read more

Tried today for the first time and found the location easy to find and clean and empty (Thursday around 5pm). Service was friendly, tried the original bowl, a peanut butter shake and got a gift card. Process was smooth and food came out quickly. The bowl was amazing and very aesthetic. The PB shake was very thick and not my favorite after a few sips, definitely couldn't finish that on my own as it was a bit grainy and definitely more on the protein side. I recently visited as I was in the area apartment hunting. I stopped at the Bosa in the same pavilion but needed something healthy first. I got to try their açaí bowl at the Gilbert farmers market. There was a pretty long line and it went by quick. I picked their original açaí bowl which was banana, granola, açaí, strawberries, blueberries and some syrup. Since the line was long I assumed it would take time and stepped away. When I returned it was ready, the lady said she kept calling me for 10 min, I mean seriously. She was like we are done in few minutes, u didn't have to go. She sounded so rude. I have paid, I will come back for the bowl, I didn't understand what the point was for being rude. The bowl was good but the service put the whole experience down. I would personally avoid such places where you can't be gentle or convey something nice. End of the day I value the overall experience with the food, not just the food. read more

Food: 3/5 Original Acai Bowl: It was creamy and sweet while being mellow. Peanut Butter Blend: The peanut butter flavor is very strong and filling. The granola, fruit, and honey toppings are delicious and complement the flavors. Overall, about 10 years ago, the bowls were bigger, had more flavors, and were more affordable. However, it is still delicious today, just not as much as it used to. They used to have a raspberry-flavored bowl which was much better than the aforementioned flavors. read more

Love this place and what it has to offer, however, there are some issues that need to be addressed. 1. Inconsistency in terms of portions for the acai bowls - sometimes they're perfect, other times, you barely get an inch of acai and the rest are covered with granola.. I suppose the fruit portions are consistent since that's the toppings to make it look pretty. Most of the times the bowls are made fresche (heh) after you order them, but sometimes they come out faster than I can put away my credit card and receipt so it does make me wonder when it was made. 2. Employees are not aware of current promotions. I don't know how many times I've gone in for #refreschewednesday and they have no idea what I'm talking about until I show them the IG post from their own page. The communications on this end could definitely improve for a smoother operation. Other than that, I have no complaints. Everything here is delicious and you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I also love their fresh pressed juices and the fact that you can create your own - definitely more bang for your bucks than the juice bar at Wholefoods. Pretty tasty smoothie, juice, acai bowl spot that's fairly close to home! Tried a number of items pictured below as well as a couple others (fresche and green, and chocolate PB banana power shake). I highly recommend the peanut butter acai bowl!! Unless u're allergic to PB, then I just feel sorry for u. Overall, I liked the power shakes that I've tried, but they had too much of a gritty protein taste to them (possibly unavoidable for 50 gram protein shakes). Not sure if all of their power shakes have 50 g of protein, but according to our power shake mixologist, the chocolate PB banana shake will give u 50 g of muscle building juice all in a 24 oz cup!! Who needs steroids when u have this much protein in the palm of ur hand?!?! I could've done without all the unblended ice chunks in the power shakes as well...who knows, maybe the ice soaked up all the protein and now is too powerful to be finely blended!! It could happen!! All silliness aside, Genuine Fresche definitely gets a solid 4 star rating and that's enough for me to keep coming back!!! read more

As someone who has tried many açaí bowl serving restaurants, this has to be in my top 5! I'm also from LA, so I've tried quite a few. I ordered the original bowl and subbed the apple juice for water. Loved everything about the original. If this is your first time getting açaí, get this! My cousins grandma had some of mine and was very impressed with the unique taste it had to offer. Came here probably twice a week for the past couple years and orders are wrong 80% of the time. This last time I ordered a small bowl with pitaya and received a mini with acai. When I told the girl that I ordered a small (not even realizing the base was wrong too) she told me that they were now closed ??? I understand that it was before close, but it was 10 minutes til 9pm and I find it extremely rude to kick out a customer KNOWING they got the wrong order. I also got charged for the small bowl (over $6 for a tiny cup that size). The bowls are pretty good, so that is the only reason I give it 2 stars instead of 1. However, the customer service from the employees has never been great. It also takes extremely long for them to make the food, even if the establishment is empty. I've also seen some questionable food handlers incidents lol. Sometimes the staff is tolerable, and other times it is exactly like this last experience which leaves me questioning why I even go back. I'd say Genuine Fresche has some pretty good acai/pitaya bowls, and the smoothies and good too, if you are willing to overpay and suffer through the awful encounters with the staff. Also, none of the staff were wearing masks. Not even the ones preparing the food! Which I am pretty sure is against the law amid this pandemic. If this bothers you, be warned! read more

What an awesome local smoothie/juice shop! My husband and I have wanted to try this place for a while and today was the day. It is a small place, you order at the counter and then a short time later your order is ready. They offer a variety of juices, smoothies, acai bowls, oatmeal, etc. They are vegan, keto and paleo friendly. Today I decided on the mango passion fruit smoothie. As a person with a coconut allergy, I have to be careful at places like this due to them using coconut water/milk/shavings. I let the person know upon ordering know of my allergy and she made a special note on the order. It made me feel like they cared, as I know eating out with a food allergy there is always a risk of cross-contamination. A short time after ordering my smoothie was ready and I took my first sip. It was amazing, so fresh and flavorful. I can't wait to be back to try some other amazing things on the menu. I can see why this is a local favorite! read more

I just moved here and was seriously craving a açaí bowl! I was not disappointed by this place. They had a huge variety of options, I went for the go green bowl and added chia seeds. The 3 size choices are also a nice touch, I typically feel like the bowls I get are way too big. I ordered a medium and it was plenty of food at the time. I wasn't a huge fan of the honey on top but that's a personal choice and I know for next time. Im definitely interested in trying out some of the other bowls and juices they have on the menu. I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty quiet. The girl working took her time in answering my questions and helping me decide what to order. So I stopped in 3:02 having heard that summer hours are till 7 and was told that they're closed and I asked about the hours and she said "not today".... I just broke a 5 day fever sick with the flu. I haven't been able to eat anything or keep anything down but after going to long without food my craving for something lite and fresh that I could most likely keep down was through the roof. So to drive from the 101 and southern down to here only to be turned away with no explanation or sense of customer service really hurts. I felt so defeated and hungry and dizzy from driving here I seriously had to take a couple minutes in my car to as a grown ass man to just cry out of frustration. 1: i would have gotten here before 3:00 if I had known I had to 2: I was two minutes after 3 and the employee was completely uncompromising and callous. I understand it likely wasn't personal but as you can see everyone has something personal going on and good customer service should take that into account. I'd really appreciate if someone could reach out to me. This has been my only Açaí place for years and years and I believe loyalty like that should mean something. Was on a hunt for a good healthy vegan place for a treat, and was pleased to find this place, not too far away from where my boyfriend lives! I had never really had an Acai Bowl before, so it was a new experience for me. I got the peanut butter chocolate one and it was very good, very filling as well. I ordered a small but I think they gave me a medium because there was a lot. I could barely finish is, and usually I eat like a cow. My meat-eating boyfriend enjoyed it as well, he got a chocolate coconut acai bowl. Also had trouble finishing his. I came to Thrive a second time, at the other location, and got a chocolate coconut smoothie. I was less impressed with the smoothie, but it was still pretty good. Both times there was a bit of a wait to get the bowl/ smoothie, but there could be many understandable reasons for that. Also kind of expensive, but they have fresh ingredients so it is expected!
