This location consistently provides poor customer service. I'm never greeted when I walk in the staff just stare as if I'm inconveniencing them by walking in. When I come in to pick up my mobile orders, I usually have to say "excuse me" multiple times and still get ignored. I've waited over 10 minutes multiple times for someone to assist me, while staff stand around on their phones sometimes even wearing gloves, which they then continue to use to prepare our bowls. I was very disappointed with yesterday's visit to PLaya. We were in the area car shopping when my teenaged daughter asked to pop in Playa. I love going to Playa, especially when it's warmer out, there's such a summer feel to the place. My wife and daughter ordered bowls, I ordered a chocolate, peanut butter and banana shake. The banana they used in my shake was green, they didn't blend it longer than 5 secs to blend the pb in, the whole bottom of my cup was full of unblended peanut butter. My favorite playa bowl location! They have good portions, only downside is that they can be inconsistent with them, especially add ons. For example, if you ask for extra toppings, some days they'll give you a lot and sometimes they won't give you any extra. It took a bit to make, but everything was fresh and crisp. The bowl was arranged so that the veggies would stay crunchy until you wanted them mixed in. There was a good amount of everything, it was seasoned well, and was a perfect lunch portion. The place was clean, and I look forward to trying the smoothie bowls soon. Drop the car off at Nissan so I ventured out instead of waiting in the waiting room. Right across 37 from Nissan is Playa bowls. I thought this place was salads and stuff. I was wrong. Its different bowls they have that are made with acai base, pitaya, kale and coconut. You can get granola, blueberries, strawberries, bananas , mangos, Nutella and so much more to list. They have poke bowls that are more for a lunch. The classic shoyu ahi tuna bowl for instance is made with soy marinated wild ahi tuna, scallions, sesame, seaweed, cucumber, sweet onion, radish, carrots and avocado. I had the power bowl with a booster smoothie. I am not one that eats healthy all the time so this was different. The bowl is coconut based with granola bananas vanilla protein coconut flakes and almond butter. The bowl was very good after I mixed all the ingredients together. The smoothie wasn't tasty at first once the peanut butter kicked in then I liked it. Overall I had a good experience here. If your looking to eat healthy playa bowls is a great place. read more
