I have gone to Tommy Boy's a few times since they've opened and each experience has been fantastic. The food is delicious and the coffee is excellent! My favorites are the avocado toast and La Colombe cold brew! The owner, Cris, and his staff gave us such a warm welcome upon arrival and were very helpful. I would highly recommend a visit! P.S. My dog loves it, too. : )

Run, don't walk to this delicious place! My husband and I love getting their poke bowls. We have tried many poke bowls in town, and this is my favorite! They give you lots of ingredients, not just rice, like most places. The protein is fresh and always packed so nicely. It really fills you up. I highly recommend this place to everyone!!

The cutest cafe around! It's so relaxing to enjoy an iced cold brew on the dog friendly "pooch porch"

The cutest cafe around with a super friendly staff, Tommy Boy's Cafe is only a half mile from route 37/ GSP exit 82B in downtown Tom's River. This place just happens to have the best poke and cold brew/ coffee around! We've become regulars! It's so relaxing to enjoy an iced cold brew on the dog friendly "pooch porch" . My favorite sandwich is the fresh grilled chicken, homemade mozzarella with red Roasted peppers! This cafe is also the perfect take a break from your office or home office to focus on being productive at the "easy peezy" work spaces while sipping on a fresh cappuccino. Ask for the "EmmaSpecial" latte, my favorite!

If you are going out for breakfast, this is the place!! This is probably one of the coolest places to go to in Tom's River! Their food and coffee are amazing! They are animal friendly and have treats for your animals! The staff was super helpful and made my experience amazing! The space is super spacious and so artsy! This is an adorable place for a coffee date or a peaceful breakfast! I would totally recommend this place and I am definitely coming back!

Trash, garbage, awful! Drive passed this place a lot for work so finally decided to stop in and try it and oh boy what a mistake. Inside it looks cool enough, although I was suprised to see how little they had in terms of baked type goods. I should have seen the red flag when I asked if they had a Dark Roast to be told they only have one Roast. Got a 16 oz and a chocolate chip cookie. Ate the cookie first and for $2.50 you would think k it would be pretty good, but it was below average. I've had better cookies at Wawa and Quick Check for a fraction of the cost. Now onto the coffee. This has to be one of the worst coffee experiences I've had in a long time. The coffee was so warered down that it didn't even taste like coffee. For those wondering, I drink my coffee black. I tried to drink it a few times, but it was so horrible that I cut my losses and dumped the coffee and tossed the cup in the trash. Being a coffee shop, they should be ashamed to serve such a bad cup of coffee. I had high hopes, but in the end it's $6.13 of my money wasted on a sub par product.

It was definitely a good mixture. My sister try the famous cinnamon roll toast crunch. She enjoyed it with her bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs on the side. I order my son a Happy Face Pancake and he love it with a unicorn milk shake. It was spacious and clean. I notice all the employees work as a team which I admired.

The LOs had the kids menu Chocolate Chip pancake - one without the whipped cream. I had the avocado toast which I took off one star because underneath one of the toasts, it was burned/blacked, which is carcinogenic. Otherwise the other one was really good. I had a cappuccino and it was tasty. My beaux had one of the brunch specials and I thought it was tasty but he wished the braised meat was more fatty, but I personally thought it was perfect. :). The diner was festive, busy, and pretty noisy which we thought would have been a good spot to mask our noisy group. . I miss the Brownstone when they had one in Jersey City so it was a nice chance to check out this other location of theirs.

And, no I am not awarding four stars for the service approach towards diners ... she did refill my coffee mug once and then surprisingly just took the creamers away without asking (I drink my coffee black but she didn't know that.). Clearly she has favorites because the guy in the booth next to me got the lovey-dovey "hon" treatment. The Sand Castle has a feeling of having been worn down by the waves through the years type of place because many of the booth chairs and counter chairs exhibit wear and even more than a few tears. On a cold November Saturday morning I could feel the chill as I sat in my booth sipping my coffee (And, I wasn't anywhere close to the front door.). So onto the four stars ... but don't say I didn't warn you about service and ambiance. Well, it feels like a shore diner and I like that feel but yea worn out a bit. Quite awhile ago stopped by for dinner and the food was really good with lots of tempting options. I always judge diners by their soup and the soup was top notch! Our meals were enjoyable at a reasonable price. And, then I just forgot to review the diner. But decided to return for breakfast today after a long Friday night. Coffee arrived promptly and was really decent coffee but the amazing part of my breakfast was how quickly the really wall prepared omelette was served. It was like in the blink of any eye and for many a promptly delivered breakfast meal is a real plus (I appreciated it!!!!). Although the waitress really didn't want to be bothered with me the rather short diner breakfast menu had the classics and that quickly prepared omelette was a tasty WESTERN. The homefries were really good ... actually they were great even without onions in them (Waitress never asked if I'd like onions and rushed away so I didn't ask but these potatoes didn't need onions.). Toast was toast and the jam/jelly selection was universally grape jelly with one orange marmalade. A very good breakfast and I wasn't here to make friends just to warm up ooops ok, so I didn't warm up but the coffee helped, and to do some work. Still worth the food if you're in the neighborhood!
