Half açaí and half playa bowl!
    Christina C.

Stopped by for a refreshing, healthy, quick snack. Clean bathroom and quick service. Downside is my partner went back in to ask for a both of water for the pup and they were hesitant and gave a lid. We both agreed it was not a big deal since the pup doesn't need much water buuuut on the flip side is it a lot to ask for another bowl considering the fact we paid so much for this bowl?

I was happy to see a playa bowls within city limits. The store was bright, clean and cozy. I loved the music they were playing as well as it was upbeat and put me in a good mood. I ordered a bowl ($12) and it was made on the spot: took maybe 5 mins to assemble. It was fresh and they don't skimp on ingredients which I loved! It does get busy here just fyi and the place is small with only a few workers but they said hi to everyone and no one had to wait to be assisted for very long. I'll be back due to the convenient location and the pleasant service. Be sure to sign up for the club you'll get 15% off your next order !

We're really excited to have a Playa Bowls location so convenient to our house! It's become a new favorite weekend breakfast option and we can't wait to try all of the options. We've used their online ordering system and ordered in the actual shop, both of which were easy and efficient --- once we figured out what we wanted from their extensive menu of bowls and smoothies! So far, we've tried bowls with several different bases, with my favorite so far being their green base (kale, banana, pineapple, coconut milk). The banana base tastes just as billed, and the coconut base is (understandably) VERY coconut, so make sure you're a fan! I also liked the Pitaya base for a fruity option with a slightly more subtle flavor. From there, you can select from dozens of topping combinations or create your own bowl with plenty of fresh fruits, nuts, coconut flakes, nut butters, and/or Nutella. I particularly enjoyed the Electric Mermaid (pitaya base with kiwi, mango, and honey), and my fiance liked the Green Power (green base with banana, granola, and protein powder). Bowls tend to come in around $12 each, but we did get a 15% discount for joining their rewards program, which was a nice perk! We'll definitely be back!

Knock off Jamba Juice/Poke Bowl and I don't like Jamba Juice as it is. Service was fine for today's standard.

I recommend topping this with crushed cashews and fried onions. I ordered the tuna bowl for my mom. Also topped with crushed cashews and fried onions. It was kinda pricey $28 for the two bowls. Prices on everything everywhere have been creeping up so I won't fault them. Service was fast and friendly. I'll be back for more poke.

Luckily this one was only minutes away and we found ourselves there! I loved all of the customizable options and how fresh it was. My friend had the ocean bowl and I made a custom spicy shrimp bowl on salad greens. I was impressed by the poke aioli sauce and with the generous portion size. The place had one other patron eating inside when we arrived so we were able to socially distance and enjoy our meal here. Having had poke in Maui not too long ago my friend and I both agreed this place was authentic and very good! Parking is readily available right out front and you can order takeout super fast here. For a good healthy meal you can't miss this place! They were out of the unsweetened tea so I tried the sugar free sweet tea they had in their refrigerator! I didn't know this tea existed and now I find myself buying it to keep in my fridge at all times! Do yourself a favor and stop by for a delicious meal!

When I walked in, the place smelled like mildew but I still hoped for the best. I waited a while for the one person behind the counter to finally say something to me. She was working on another order and didn't even acknowledge my presence. I almost turned around and left after a few minutes (I had people waiting for me in the car since I was getting it to go) but I decided to wait. I decided on a bowl. They didn't have a lot of options but it looked like enough (or I had hoped) to make a nice bowl. Upon close inspection, the fish looked gooey, the rice looked undercooked so I got the spring mix, and the other toppings were meh. Everything put on the dish was more like a sprinkle than a spoonful. At the end of the line I had a bowl that was half full and mostly a small amount of green leafy stuff. The dish was absolutely not worth the price. I did eat it. When I finally got into the car and tried the food, I should have stopped when I found the spring mix had pieces way past their prime. I also should have stopped when I found the fish to be goopy and room temp. Long story short, it was a very small portion of less than stellar quality ingredients. I felt like heck about an hour later (not fun on a car trip). It was lunch time and the only food I ate that day. I should have started a fast at that moment.
