So excellent! I came here unexpectedly for lunch today, because the place that I wanted to go to was open later. My husband search where we were standing for the closest excellent lunch restaurant, and it was nearby. We looked at the menu posted outside, and the soup and beef shawarma wrap looked good to both of us. The young woman behind the counter was very welcoming to us. She explained how the restaurant ordering worked- order at the counter and she brings the food to our table. Canned beverages were by the counter. They had a great selection. The day was warm, and we sat outside. I had excellent butternut squash soup. I tried my husband's sweet potato and corn soup. This was the best soup that I had in recent memory. For my main meal, I ate the entire large beef shawarma. It contained a lot of beef and was in a tasty sauce. I would not change anything about it. I met the very friendly owner from Lebanon. Between the food, and the friendly people at this restaurant, this is the place to go downtown for lunch! read more

Great spot for breakfast- quiet but right on the Main Street. Extremely friendly staff. They have lots of great gluten free options. I got a GF crepe (see image below) and bought a frozen sourdough boule (they get them shipped from Bonte bakery). Both were very good :) definitely would recommend! read more

We stopped by La Tartine for lunch and enjoyed two soups of the day (sweet potato and corn and also butternut squash) with zaatar pita chips. We also had delicious, enormous beef shawarma wraps that seemed twice as big as any shawarma wrap that I had before. The food could not have been any better. The soups were hearty and filling and the wraps were full of perfectly cooked beef. The staff, including the owner, were super friendly! You order at the cash register and they bring you your meal. They have two tables outside and plenty of indoor seating. The restaurant has a wide selection of crepes, Mediterranean specialties, and bottled and canned drinks, homemade juices, and Lebanese coffee. For dessert they have two types of baklava and croissants. Definitely worth a visit! read more

My husband and I had an opportunity to try this new spot for dinner tonight. Right off the bat, we were warmly greeted and promptly attended to by the friendly staff. They made some recommendations and answered our questions. We opted to sit at one of the tables inside, but there is also some outdoor seating available, weather permitting. The food was served quickly and at the right temperature. Portions were just right. I got the Falafel Wrap (add Feta), which was delicious and thankfully NOT greasy, nor drowning in sauce. Win! My hubs loved his Shawarma Wrap -- tender and juicy and "very, very good." We also tried the Rose Lemonade and Lavender Lemonade, and both were delightful! For dessert, we enjoyed a yummy Semolina and coconut cake and a Create-Your-Own Crepe (Cookie Butter, bananas, and strawberries with a white chocolate drizzle). Made fresh and served warm, this was the perfect finish to our meal. The interior of the restaurant is clean, bright, and welcoming. It has a fresh, calm ambience. The unisex restroom was immaculate. Overall, we had no complaints, and enjoyed our experience. I hope to visit again! I would love to also try their Açaí bowls, cold-pressed juices, and smoothies. It was the best falafel I have ever had. They use some unique and softer spices that I hadn't encountered in my falafel before -- almost floral accents. It was incredibly good. My wife got the Schwarma wrap and it was also very unique and delicious. The owner was present and he and the waiter wanted us to try some of their house made Lavender Lemonade - The lavender was grown right in their backyard! Lavender Lemonade is the best thing I have had in a long time. It has the perfect amount of lavender flavor. I also had a smoothie and a crepe. Had a pleasant lunch here. Got the Caprese sandwich with apple cider, hot, and the Lebanese meat pizza. Everything was quite scrumptious no complaints. It tasted very fresh and the food Kim very fast. There were two staff members wanted the counter and one cooking. Both were very responsive and answered all of our questions. I walked in not knowing what to expect but was greeted by very friendly staff. I decided to stay, grab something to eat, and sit to do some school work. I ordered the chicken wrap which was huge, so good (I can't wait to order it again). And my boyfriend got the meat pizza - which he also loved. La Tartine just opened, and I can honestly say it's already one of my favorite places in West Chester! They have so many gluten free and healthy options, and it's all delicious. You can't even tell the gluten free crepe is gluten free, that's how great it is (get the bacon, egg, and cheese one)! They've also got a variety of juices, smoothies, acai bowls, and falafel too. The owner is super sweet as well and was happy to answer any questions that we had. Please give this restaurant a try-- they opened during covid and wholeheartedly deserve you to check them out.
