Where to begin????? The yummy Pizza? The Ice cold drinks? The view from the patio? The overall chill atmosphere? No. It begins with the Jessica and people who work there who are as cool, fun, lovely, and really awesome. If you are anywhere around LV you must go to PLaya Central and go here often!!! Can't say enough about how great it is here.

It's Sunday so our hotel does not serve breakfast so we set off for Playa Central for some breakfast. The decor here is very artsy and you can spend quite some time just looking around at all the cool kite themed art work. They have a very nice roof top area that overlooks La Ventana. My husband had a huge cinnimon roll and I ordered the banana french toast. He liked the cinnimon roll, the banana french toast was just okay. This is the first place in La Ventana where I found service to be lacking. Had issues ordering and they were not very friendly. Prices were reasonable and parking is never an issue. ** They have free WIFI **

This is one of the few places that takes credit cards in town. The staff is upbeat and friendly; however the food offering is limited. I spoke with the manager Jessica the whole night and was impressed on the direction this place was heading. The balcony patio is a can't miss view of the bay! Although La Ventana is a very seasonal location this place seems to be the social hub in town. Oh and the margaritas were "World Famous" just like it says on the wall.

Love this spot! Super rustic, arty and playful. Straight to the point kind of bar tenders and shuffle board. We had a good time.

We were told the best Chili Rellenos are at "Caleb's", a breakfast and brunch cafe, opened by an American woman in 2003, and still going strong as a bakery and restaurant. The Chili Rellenos are a 'battered' version, dipped in flour and whipped egg, then fried to a golden brown, melting the Monterey Jack cheese inside the Poblano chili (see the photo). Served with rice, refried beans and corn tortillas, it is everything locals brag about, and certainly a full meal! Current price (May,'22) is 120 pesos ($6.00 US). Sherrie chose the cinnamon sticky bun, and it was every bit a signature breakfast entrée. Don't forget to ask for butter. The owner came to our table and explained the history of her starting a restaurant - tied to her value for Christian service to the local community. She was a delight to talk to, so upbeat and positive, obviously committed to the best dining experience she could provide. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. The prompt service in an open-air patio and ambiance was all 5-Stars... ...so happy we stopped here, it was the best chili relleno in town.
