I definitely thought the shakes were apart of Herbalife so it had me second guess coming in to try because I've already Herbalife and although they have great shakes, we wanted to try something new- to my surprise this store has NOTHING to do with Herbalife and the owner Ben has a ton of knowledge about health and wellness outside of Herbalife that he brought to his own creations. They have soy based protein shakes, amazing teas, and boba milk! Ben is always an incredible person to speak with and he's very professional in any setting, he remembered us from the farmers Market and we got the insight to his story! Personally, I'm not a fan of protein shakes and Herbalife has an artificial taste to it from the artificial sweeteners and flavors to keep the calories low. Now, I was actually recommended that smoothie especially for the protein. That was my first time ever having a smoothie at the Georgetown Market & in general. The ambiance of the place clean, smells very healthy, the staff are always very friendly and helpful. To, my surprise the smoothie was actually good to me. Mind, you I can't eat bananas by itself due the smell makes me gag, and I haven't ate a banana in many years. I would highly recommend the Mocha Chiquita smoothie. Then, around 3:30 in the afternoon I went back up to Georgetown Market Cafe for the Vegan mac and cheese, to me that was just okay. Then she takes the order and we sit down and ANOTHER customer comes in and she switches up, giving them better service. And the coffee wasn't very good either. Really strong coffee taste so it tastes no better than a normal cup of coffee. Really overpriced. 5 bucks for a medium coffee drink with the SLIGHTEST essence of whatever flavor you ordered.
