Such a hidden gem with fantastic friendly service, she even gave my dog a stuff animal to play with.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!!! I am really glad to see such an awesome claw machine business on the Westside... it's definitely about time for one to open! If you're waiting for a restaurant reservation downstairs at Kura or close by pop on in for some fun! They're located on the second floor just above Kura. They have a good amount of machines too so you'll have a good time. The owners Steve and Lori are just the nicest people who really want to help people win and have fun. Machines are full of great quality plushies (I came in for the Hello Kitty hamburger plush I saw on IG and when I was having trouble with it Lori helped me get one and gave me tips). They will also help rearrange and shuffle items to help you get the ones you want too! Machine credits are 8-14. I got a $66 credit package which got me 306 credits (so some bonus ones included) so that came out to maybe $1.75-$3 per play. I won about 10 plushies during my visit (I probably could have done a few more with some extra help but I also wanted to practice...). So much fun! Trade ups are also available for great plushies. I also like how you can store tickets for plushies on your card for trade ups so you don't have to do it all on one visit (so for example if you have 3 that you want to bank for a future trade up, put those on your card as 3 tickets during that visit and then accumulate more on future visits to get a plushie you want). But be warned, it will be hard to decide which ones to give up! They will mark any plushies ineligible for a trade which at the time of my visit was only from one machine. Can't wait to go back!

Such a great spot! The owner is so kind and helpful. Our kids loved it. Clean, organized, good prizes. Totally worth an hour of play time!

Lolli helping my daughter until she finally got the lucky cat!

The best claw arcade ever! We almost didn't walk in... but SO glad we did!! We had a terrible experience at a claw arcade in Santa Monica recently and were afraid we'd have to relive that experience. But no, this was the complete opposite! If you're a family with kids and are worried about wasting $$$ because they're not exactly great with the claw machines, you don't have to worry about that because Lolli will help with all the tips and tricks! She was so nice and patient. I think my daughter wanted to hug her after she helped her get one of the stuffed animals she was working hard to get. We left with 5 good quality, super cute prizes and 2 happy kids!

Stumbled upon this place in the easter afternoon. We had such fun time with my 5 yr old daughter. Lori, the owner was so generous and helpful with her time and knowledge of claw machines! She gave us strategy and even helped reconfigure some machines so we could grab stuffies better! We ended up with 8 stuffies and traded up for a bigger prize. They also gave us a big bag to put all our stuffies in! What a great experience. We hope to be back soon because it was soooo fun! Definitely recommend!

Selfie machine on site many fun pics!

The staff was so amazing! My kids loved all their prizes and we had a great time as a family! Highly recommend! #caliclawarcade @cali.claw.arcade #buzzybooth

When we asked for an accommodation, the security guard was rude and told us that if my son wanted water, he could walk all the way to the entrance every time, despite the distance from the bowling area. Hoping to resolve the issue, I spoke with the manager, Luis Gonzalez, but unfortunately he was just as dismissive and uninformed about autism and disabilities. Rather than listening and showing compassion, he was rude and unwilling to understand my son's needs. Businesses that serve families should make an effort to educate their staff about disabilities and neurodiversity. With autism becoming more widely recognized, basic awareness, empathy, and reasonable accommodations should not be too much to ask. This experience left us feeling unwelcome and unsupported. I will also be reaching out to upper management, including Cynthia Torres, to make her aware of this situation and to see whether changes can be made. As an autism mom, it is my responsibility to advocate not only for my son but for other individuals with autism and disabilities as well. No family should have to experience being dismissed or treated without understanding when simply requesting reasonable accommodations. My hope is that this feedback leads to better education, awareness, and compassion from staff so that all guests feel welcomed and respected.

Everything is set to free play with a paid admission fee. You can do hourly pay or a set price for all day play. There's probably about 60 different arcade style games ranging in many decades including 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s favorites. Pinball, Mario Kart, Mortal Kombat, Marvel Vs Capcom (my jam), Super Smash Bros, Basketball Pro, Pac Man, NFL Blitz, Rampage (arcade game of my youth), Donkey Kong, Tron, The Simpsons and so many others. Soft drinks, great lighting, a spacious layout. Neon Retro offers cool holiday deals and specials, hosts fun events, IG giveaways and keeps the fun going all year long. It's still only $15 for unlimited hourly play or $25 for a day pass. No food is served here other than snacks (think chips and candy), but so many places closeby to eat before or after your Neon Retro Arcade fun!! It's not a barcade like EightyTwo or Player One so it's alcohol free. They're all welcoming and very personable. I do know they have a capacity limit and weekend tend to be the busiest until around 4 or 5 pm. Nights and weekends are definitely lower in foot traffic, but still great energy. I don't make it over too often, but highly recommend experiencing once or thrice. They just had a cool 50% off hourly prices for Bonus Level Loyalty Club members, and yes it's free to be a member :) Local street (meter), paid lot and garage parking available. Gender-neutral restrooms. Great for groups or just you.

You're not cramped in here fighting for space. Game-wise... don't come here expecting anything crazy. There's nothing super serious for hardcore gamers, no rare cabinets or anything you're gonna geek out over. It's more like solid, familiar stuff. That said, it does work really well as a date spot because there's a lot of co-op games, so you're not just standing there awkwardly -- you actually have something to do. Now the food... I still haven't gone deep into it, but the wing deal is actually a good deal for these times, which is rare. That alone makes it worth pulling up on a Tuesday. Menu is kinda big though, and anytime I see a big menu like that I start side-eyeing the kitchen a little bit... like yeah some of this gotta be frozen But overall? It's a good spot for wings and beer without spending Ye Rustic money. If you're trying to keep it chill and not blow your wallet, this is a solid move. Not a gamer spot, not a foodie spot... just a good hang.

Very cute selection of plushies and trade ups are possible but for the medium/large stuffies only. I've become somewhat of a regular of these arcades as they've been popping up in SoCal, and have become somewhat good at figuring out what helps for machines. Weight distribution matters and claw strength! I found that the small machines were much easier to win prizes (maybe by intention) and the larger machines had such cute prizes but loose grip strength in the claw making it harder to win the bigger, good prizes. So all of a sudden your tokens start vanishing quickly. I had 50 token credits and ended up with two medium sized plushies and 6 small items, which for me is on the smaller end of a haul. Still had fun but other claw arcades may give you a better win rate. Parking is plentiful, in the same lot as a Dollar Tree and several other stores.

If they are they are doing a good job letting people win most of the time. I think there were a few machines at time I had to try 8 times and gave up because I couldn't pick up the plushie. But usually one token I get one plushie. This place is absolutely addictive but I like it over other places because you can upgrade your plushies for bigger ones at the front desk. It's such a nice treat because if we have a bunch of little ones we don't want, and a big one we do like better, it's worth it. I leave with at least one big plushie that I exchange for 8 medium plushies, and a few more medium plushies. Total I take home each trip 1 big plushie, and 3-6 medium to little plushies. Other claw machine places I feel cheated because you either have to put a bunch of coins in to play once, or the plushies aren't easy to grab. This place is not only affordable, but you put one coin for each machine for one play. It's really fair and wants you to win. The cherry on top is the plushie upgrade exchange after you're done playing. I come here at least once a month because it's really fun
