There's a great set of old sofas and chairs in the back, with retro consoles hooked up to those huge televisions like your grandparents had... I could have played those if they had any games that had appealed, but my first console was a n64 and they didn't have one of those. No nostalgia for me. Jeremy found the place overly loud so we left before our time ran out. There was a saint Patrick's Day parade going on right out front, since the arcade is on Yorks main Street. I suppose our other friends enjoyed themselves, but I didn't see them play any game for longer than 5 minutes. I think we're officially too old.

They also offer a 'road trip pass' for $35 to access both the York and Hanover location all day. There is definitely a good variety of games (although I didn't see mario kart ). Despite this, there were a lot of games out of order. I still had an absolute blast and I really like the variety of 2-player games. They allow BYOB 7pm to close, although I'd much rather see a bar inside, it'd attract way more clientele and really get it popping. All in all, although there was some broken games, this place is a great hang, I had a lot of fun and am definitely going to be returning. I really enjoyed seeing my girlfriend light up while beating me in Mortal Kombat. Highly recommend to arcade fans.

I remember there was a Dance Dance Revolution machine if I remember correctly and a Guitar Hero arcade machine. This one I believe has the largest selection of games and is possibly the largest location out of the 4 locations GameOn offers. The service, food, and cocktails are great and they provide a nice laid-back experience that makes a great date night or day activity with your family!

Not a couple random machines tucked in a corner, but enough games to keep you busy way longer than you planned. The cocktails? Oh they're gimmicky. Fully. And that's the fun of it. They're colorful, dramatic, a little extra, and totally fit the vibe. If you want a quiet, serious cocktail moment, this isn't that. If you want something playful in your hand while you dominate skee ball, you're in the right spot. Now the food -- this surprised me. The cheesesteak egg rolls are a must. Crispy, cheesy, packed with flavor. Absolutely order them. The buffalo chicken sliders were also a win. Messy in the best way, saucy, juicy, and perfect for grazing between games. What really made it though was the staff. They genuinely look like they're having a good time working there. Not fake smiles. Real energy. That kind of vibe changes everything and makes you want to hang out longer. Game On knows exactly what it is and leans all the way in. Fun first, good food, playful drinks, great energy. We'll be back.

Picture this: you step inside a life-sized holographic North Pole, wearing lightweight AR glasses, tossing virtual snowballs, collecting ornaments, helping Santa save Christmas, and discovering festive surprises along the way. It's part game, part holiday movie, and all-around magical. From their website: "Deck the Holograms is a family-friendly augmented reality adventure that transports you inside a life-sized holographic North Pole...an unforgettable shared experience for families, friends, and believers of all ages." Yup, it's exactly that -- and it totally lives up to the hype. We did the experience as a pair, and it was so much fun together. Plus, we got 3 hours of free arcade play included with our tickets for $34.99 per person, which honestly feels like a steal. We even spent a little time in the arcade before jumping into the AR adventure, which was a nice warm-up. The story itself was surprisingly thoughtful -- it made us reflect on being present in the moment during the holidays instead of getting lost in our phones. It's playful, immersive, and yes, totally enjoyable for 40+ year olds too. Plenty of parking, plenty of space to move around, and the whole experience is cozy and warm inside -- perfect for a chilly December night. We booked our tickets from the parking lot on the last Friday before Christmas and had no trouble snagging the 8pm time slot we wanted. Overall, it's a low-impact, warm, immersive, and joyful way to celebrate the season. If you're looking for something different, memorable, and just plain fun, do yourself a favor and check out Deck The Holograms -- you won't regret it!
