TL;DR: This one-star rating is entirely due to their bartender, Christian -- a belligerent,…read moreintoxicated bully who seemed to be looking for a fight with customers. Here's what happened: I came in last night with a group of friends and had a Monster Energy drink in my front pocket. It wasn't taken at the door, so I forgot about it until I noticed it while playing at the beer pong table. I cracked it open without thinking much of it. Christian came around bussing glasses and took the Monster from me. I assumed it was a mistake at first, but he told me I couldn't have it inside -- fair enough. I asked if I could take it outside or leave it somewhere. He said he'd hold it behind the bar for me to pick up when I left. That seemed reasonable, and I thanked him. When I came to grab it on my way out, he tossed it in the trash instead. When I asked why, he pulled it back out and slowly poured it into the trash, yelling that I wasn't supposed to have it in there and accusing me of sneaking it in. The whole thing felt like he was trying to provoke me into a confrontation. It was humiliating -- not just for me, but honestly for the bar too, especially in front of a crowd. There are so many better ways this situation could have been handled. It's unfortunate, because the rest of the staff were friendly and professional, and I genuinely like the arcade bar itself. To ownership: Please take note -- this employee needs support, training, or possibly a different role that doesn't involve direct customer interaction.

No A/C, so on a 95 degree day it's about the same inside. Wish this wasn't the only one in the Denver area. Worth driving up to Westminster or down to CO Springs if you're going to be spending a day playing games. This location needs to be renovated in the worst way.

I have accumulated over 52k in tickets, so probably enough to get a coffee mug and vampire teeth for all 600+ Yelptastic friends. :) My latest game is the Wizard of Oz, which is one of those coin pushing games where it always appears that 50 coins are hanging on for dear life! I have completed a few sets of the cards and have 3 more sets that are missing Dorthy and the Wicked Witch! lol The other games are fun as well: Deal or no Deal, Wheel of Fortune, pop-shot, giant Pac Man. I just remembered a crazy night after an Avalanche win spending like 40k tickets on a 6ft Tweedy Bird and putting it in the backseat of a convertible Saab. Random, I know. I think we left it at Breakfast King, which is gone now. D&B also has good food and a few different areas to catch the big game on medium sized screens to ginormous sized screens. A big bonus is that a movie theater is right next door if you still have energy. I do miss the pool tables from many years ago but if they are not profitable then C'est-la-vie! The only bad part is that the parking is confusing. There's some parking near D&B but if that is full you may need to use the garage. Hopefully, you enjoy it too!

I came after I picked my son up from his after care program and there was no employee in sight for about 15 minutes. We ended up just grabbing clubs and doing putt putt. At the end there was a teenager who came out when we had gone through probably 8-9 holes and he said "Excuse me, who checked you out?" And I said "No one. No one was here and we weren't gonna wait all night." He was like "I am the manager on shift and that's not true." Clearly trying to not be in trouble. It was absolutely inappropriate the way he treated everyone in there. I don't know what they were doing that whole time but the lack of responsibility they took for not being present where they needed to be was ridiculous. I will call back later and speak to the general manager and pay for the round we did but in my opinion, the kid working should be fired. The cash register was left unmanned, plus all the merchandise, the main door open, the self service card reader wasn't working, there was zero attention to customers. I work with high school students and 98% of them would be more responsible than this. It was completely unprofessional!

What a great refuge on Broadway! Broadway isn't what it used to be. Some parts are lively, but…read moresome parts are barren and closed down. But Punch Bowl Social is a bright and lively spot! They have basic drinks (shots, punches, frozen margs, mules). All for around 12 bucks. They have beer too. They also have bar food (wings, tacos, shrimp, chicken and waffles, dips, chips, and more). And the bartenders are friendly and attentive. The main attraction here, however, are the games. Bowling, basketball, skee ball, air hockey, table tennis. All for a reasonable price. They also have flat screens playing sporting events. The space is open, light, and lots of room to move around. Even if it gets crowded, I think you'd have space to breathe. This is a place to come and play with friends. You're not here for a gourmet food or cocktail experience. Just a few hundred feet from Adventure Time, so you could have some creative cocktails afterward, if that's what you're wanting. Reviewed separately.

The cocktails are very good and reasonably priced (e.g. spicy marg $12). They have a decent beer selection including local and regional beers with reasonable prices. Dropping a star because service can be rough at the main circle bar. Somehow there will be 6 service people milling around with 1 bartender. When people come to that bar, they'd like a drink quickly. Beer, pre-mixed punch, and shots should be quick for inexperienced bartenders to support.

They charge $4 to enter since they have 70 or so free to play games which are mostly all old school games. Depending on what day of the week it is, they also have specials that range from free entry if you purchase a $10 game card, or even free tickets just from buying a game card. The games are a mix of games you can find at your local Dave and busters, to some that you'd find at an abandoned garage sale. The only problem I had, was after hitting a few ticket jackpots, I noticed that the card never registered my tickets. I spoke with a nice worker and she promptly loaded some of the missing tickets to my game card. Just sucks that the game cards/arcade games are pretty unreliable and I wish they had a better system. Overall, the prizes were great but expensive for the ticket value they were listed at. On the contrary, the games were all 1-6 nickels as opposed to 1-6 quarters at a normal arcade which honestly was amazing and hard to find in today's economy. The couple of plushies that I was able to redeem and take home was enough for me to remember this fun and family-friendly arcade.
