Here's what happened: I came in last night with a group of friends and had a Monster Energy drink in my front pocket. It wasn't taken at the door, so I forgot about it until I noticed it while playing at the beer pong table. I cracked it open without thinking much of it. Christian came around bussing glasses and took the Monster from me. I assumed it was a mistake at first, but he told me I couldn't have it inside -- fair enough. I asked if I could take it outside or leave it somewhere. He said he'd hold it behind the bar for me to pick up when I left. That seemed reasonable, and I thanked him. When I came to grab it on my way out, he tossed it in the trash instead. When I asked why, he pulled it back out and slowly poured it into the trash, yelling that I wasn't supposed to have it in there and accusing me of sneaking it in. The whole thing felt like he was trying to provoke me into a confrontation. It was humiliating -- not just for me, but honestly for the bar too, especially in front of a crowd. There are so many better ways this situation could have been handled. It's unfortunate, because the rest of the staff were friendly and professional, and I genuinely like the arcade bar itself. To ownership: Please take note -- this employee needs support, training, or possibly a different role that doesn't involve direct customer interaction.

It's a great place for groups because there's something for everyone. The drinks were also surprisingly good and reasonably priced compared to other entertainment venues. One of my favorite things is that after 11 p.m. on weekends, it's 21+. It gives adults a chance to let their inner child out, play the games, and enjoy the atmosphere without it being overrun by kids. The staff was friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout our visit. The entire venue is bright, lively, and full of energy, making it a fun place to spend an evening. I love that there's free parking and plenty of it since it's in the DTC. The bartenders make some pretty damn good drinks. I enjoyed my spicy margarita. There's not enough space to enjoy all of the arcade games because my friend and I felt very squished in towards Galaga and Qbert. The biggest downfall is having to buy tokens to play the games instead of just using quarters. I've never tried the food at any of the 1UP locations. I've been to this location twice now and I will be back.

I just remembered a crazy night after an Avalanche win spending like 40k tickets on a 6ft Tweedy Bird and putting it in the backseat of a convertible Saab. Random, I know. I think we left it at Breakfast King, which is gone now. D&B also has good food and a few different areas to catch the big game on medium sized screens to ginormous sized screens. A big bonus is that a movie theater is right next door if you still have energy. I do miss the pool tables from many years ago but if they are not profitable then C'est-la-vie! I came after I picked my son up from his after care program and there was no employee in sight for about 15 minutes. We ended up just grabbing clubs and doing putt putt. At the end there was a teenager who came out when we had gone through probably 8-9 holes and he said "Excuse me, who checked you out?" And I said "No one. No one was here and we weren't gonna wait all night." He was like "I am the manager on shift and that's not true." Clearly trying to not be in trouble. It was absolutely inappropriate the way he treated everyone in there. I don't know what they were doing that whole time but the lack of responsibility they took for not being present where they needed to be was ridiculous. I will call back later and speak to the general manager and pay for the round we did but in my opinion, the kid working should be fired. The cash register was left unmanned, plus all the merchandise, the main door open, the self service card reader wasn't working, there was zero attention to customers. I work with high school students and 98% of them would be more responsible than this. It was completely unprofessional!

Dropping a star because service can be rough at the main circle bar. Somehow there will be 6 service people milling around with 1 bartender. When people come to that bar, they'd like a drink quickly. Beer, pre-mixed punch, and shots should be quick for inexperienced bartenders to support.
