I went with my sister and we sat at the bar! It was a Friday so margaritas flights were 50% off! I got the burrito fajitas and they were delicious!! My sister got the quesabirria and she really liked it. We also got taquitos and I loved that they gave chicken and beef. The service was great!

Quickly becoming my favorite local Mexican restaurant! This place was hopping on Friday night. We were seated quickly, & the chips and salsa were served to our table. We ordered our drinks and dinner. My meal was served quickly, but the server misunderstood my friend's order so she had to wait a bit, but the staff was apologetic and refilled our cheese dip for free. I had the chicken chimichanga and a delicious strawberry margarita. Great place!

No notes. This place is top tier. Food is always hot and flavorful. Their chips and salsa is amazing. Not to mention their table side guac has improved tremendously since opening last year. Service is quick and always attentive, and ambiance is relaxing and almost cozy.

Dined in for lunch and let me just say the restaurant is so pretty. It's so bright, airy and open! Our service was amazing we didn't wait long for anything and they staff checked on us multiple times throughout our visit. We started with a delicious margarita and I tried meals from the lunch menu which were great and filling. Would definitely return!

Brand New Mexican restaurant located on Northern Pike in Monroeville. (The old Kings restaurant) Ample parking. Excellent authentic Mexican cuisine! Chips and salsa delivered as e were greeted. Beautiful and clean restaurant! Great atmosphere. Friendly and attentive service. Nice selection of Mexican draft beers. Food came out fast and piping hot. Daily specials. Nice and affordable lunch specials along with daily drink specials. Highly recommended! Looking forward to our next visit! A+++++

I came to the new Plaza Azteca in Monroeville that was recently put in a building that once held a King's. I really like the upgrades. The restaurant has a modern Mexican feel to it. It is also way bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. The menu is also massive. I had trouble picking something with all the choices. The service was really good. I called ahead and reserved a table. From that call to the hostess, to the server. Everyone was friendly and helpful My wife went with the Barria Tacos and I enjoyed the Chimichanga dinner. Everything was really good.

First time here. Very yummy. Staff is very welcoming! We sat at the bar and had great service. Restaurant is clean with fun music playing. I had the Taco lunch with rice and beans and my husband had the Ribeye tacos. We did a little split and both were very yummy.

Came for a work event with a large group of 20+. They did a great job taking orders and drinks. Food came out surprisingly fast for a big group and I think everyone got their food correctly. I tried the quesabrilla and it was pretty good. Nice fresh tasting wrapping and tender meat inside. Great experience overall.

So So good. This is what Monroeville needed. Fantastic service and fantastic food. Been here twice andIll keep coming back. Super good Mexican food. Don't miss out!

We were excited to try this newly opened Mexican restaurant. Alas, we did not have a good experience. It's an old King's restaurant that they remodeled, quite nicely. They have great looking bar. The drafts were served in chilled glasses which was a nice touch. We ordered the table side guacamole and got to watch them make it. It was a little bland but the chips and complimentary salsa were good. I ordered fish tacos. I'm not sure the fish was cooked properly and they were served with an overly sweet slaw that just overpowered the whole thing. My date had a chimichanga and he expected it to be crispy which it was not. It also lacked flavor. Disappointing. There are better options

We had a birthday dinner here on a Friday evening at 7pm. I made reservations for 15 people with no issue. We were greeted and seated after about 5-7 min so they could set our table up. Our server Adriana and she was AMAZING!! She served us effectively and effortlessly. Our party came at different times and she was able to speak with each person and get their drink order in, and served very quickly. She helped the food runner deliver our food and made sure we had everything we needed. I love the setup of the restaurant and the decor. I do wish they would dim the lights during dinner service but it made for great photos! We obviously had a whole host of items from the menu. These are just a few of what I was close enough to taste. I ordered the Torta Ahogada Birria. Which is essentially a Birria sandwich. It was so so good! The consume was one of the best I've had. I also had a bite of different types of nachos. They were perfect!! Chips were perfect; toppings were fresh! The only let down were the Pina Loca. The dish was not served with chunks of pineapple, I think that would elevate this dish. It was served in one but cleaned out so well you could not scrape anymore to get a bite. Also, it was rather dry. It was supposed to be topped with queso but was just a slight drizzle. The burritos were also really good. And the best part of dinner were the margaritas. I ordered a flight. Which are half off on Fridays! The margaritas were perfectly made! They were not stingy with the alcohol either. We all had an amazing time and can't wait to return! Adriana was the goat!!

I pass this place every day on my way home from work (at 5:00) and there are ALWAYS lots of cars outside. I mean, there are parking spots avail but you can tell its a good place by the business on the outside. Me and a friend finally went a couple weeks ago for the first time. I am a weenie when it comes to spicy foods so I had a couple options in mind to ask which is the most mild. The waitress (who was super sweet) said all their food is mild so everyone can enjoy it. So maybe if u like spicy mexican, u might be disappointed, or maybe u can request seasoning, I'm not sure. But I like everything about this place. As soon as we walked in, we said "oh look how cute it is", even outside there is a wall banner with beautiful pink roses, not sure if it was just for valentines day but it looks so nice. As I said, out waitress was sweet. I wish her name was on the receipt so I could give her a shout out but it wasnt. The only negative thing I have to say is the rice was a little overcooked but it was still edible.

Mad Mex has ensured that carryout is no longer a burden for patrons, that they can quickly accommodate orders without burdening their own staff, and widely advertise it as an option. They literally busted out a wall and added a door directly to the designated carryout counter of the bar. Rather than waiting in line with seating, telling the hostess that you are picking up an order, generally being sent to the bar to find an available way to flag down the bartender to pay, and then waiting for someone to go check in the kitchen if your order is ready. You now have... - a designated door on the front of the building which is well-labeled as Takeout Orders - a portioned off part of the counter dedicated to interactions with the bartenders for picking up - a place for the staff to place orders ready at the counter rather than waiting back in the kitchen. Service was slow, all of our dishes were served warm at best (mine was cold), only exception being the fajitas which were served steaming hot. I had enchiladas plus a taco. One friend had the dish that they serve flaming (can't recall its name and I didn't get a pic) and it was meh. The fish tacos also not a highlight. The steak fajitas were said to be pretty good. Also note, chips and salsa are not complimentary, they charge $3.50 for soda water and have a sign at the entrance notifying a 5% discount if paying cash (i.e. a 5% credit card fee). I'm not sure if this was just an off night for them or not but there are a few Mexican spots in the area that are consistently good (Plaza Azteca in White Oak and El Campesino in Monroeville). I likely won't try Madero again.

Currently, there is a Mexican restaurant, Chinese restaurant, kids party/play business, a bowling ally the Jonnet Building (which hosts a variety of businesses including an events venue, nail and hair salons) and more. The biggest downfalls are that the parking lot isn't all that well maintained and has an odd design. There are potholes everywhere, and some of them are really large. The parking spots are also at odd angles that people seem to be confused about. You have to be driving the right direction to get into the spaces, and sometime a car will spend a bunch of time trying to maneuver into the space instead of just driving around and coming in at the right angle. If you have to exit onto Center, good luck. It is a really busy street and cars don't generally want to let you in, especially during peak hours.

It is the closest location, so when I come it is for an attempt at convenience, but often I wish I would have driven down the road to the one in Murrysville for less aggravation. The last time I was there, they were out of forks, chicken and sour cream. HOW?! I get that they might need to cook more chicken (that has happened before where I had to wait while something was being prepared) but apparently they literally didn't have chicken to even cook. And it was earlier in the day, not like at 9 pm close to closing. Being out of so many key things makes me think it was poor management because supply ordering is something they should be on top of. Service is hit or miss. Some of the employees are friendly and seem to like their job, but more often than not, everyone seems miserable and like they would rather be anywhere but there. If you really want Chipotle, do yourself a favor and go down the road 15 minutes to the one in Murrysville. It is far from perfect, but still a much better experience than this location.

Online orders are almost never ready on time, and they don't follow their own pickup process -- food isn't put on the shelf, so you're forced to stand there and flag someone down just to get what you already paid for. When you do, the staff often act irritated that you asked. On top of that, portion sizes have clearly gone downhill. Even when paying for double meat, the servings are skimpy and inconsistent. Between the delays, the disorganization, the attitude, and the shrinking portions, ordering ahead here is pointless. I won't be back.
