The only place I'll shop & take my jewelry! The nicest ladies around. I couldn't be happier with their kindness and expertise.

Very friendly and great selection. They customize too. They are at a new location though on East Washington across from Windermere.

Ask the Community - Plaza Jewelers

Well hello there, I hope this query finds you all well! I am currently searching to find a local, I'm in Port Angeles, business who does loose diamond or gem appraisals and will be likely trying to sell a few in the near future. Any tips? :) TY!

Hi Crystal, sorry I didn't see you question sooner. But we do not have a Certified Gemologist on staff or the lab equipment to grade a loose stone. I do mot know of anyone local. I use Northwest Gemology Labs in Bellevue. I am happy to send…

It is a precious…read morefamily heirloom and based on advertising I have seen for Fircrest Jewelers stating that it is a locally owned business that one could trust with their family heirlooms, I felt comfortable. The shank broke on 5/11/2026, and I took it back on 5/12/2026. The lady who waited on me made a loud production about their one-year warranty and how the damage to my ring was outside of the year. It was 3 weeks outside of the warranty. It was unprofessional behavior and there were other people in the business who could hear her admonish me. She said she would speak to the owner and get back to me. I received a text message on 5/13/2026, stating that I could pay $40 for the repair. I picked up my ring and took it to another jewelry store who looked the ring over to give me an estimate. Attached is the picture I took when they explained that the work that had been done was faulty. There are bubbles in the shank and you can see the lines where the metal was added to upsize the ring. So much for over 30 years' experience in the business. I would expect this type of customer experience with a corporate owned business where profit is the goal over everything else, not from a "locally owned business that advertises that you can trust your precious family heirlooms with them." Update/Response: The ring was not bent nor had it been sized before. I hardly wear this ring, and I never wear it for work, around the house or in the garden. I received this from a grandparent, and it was a size 4 or 5. Fircrest is the only jeweler that I have had size this ring, and that was in April of last year. It broke at the seam of the metal that was used to upsize the ring to a size 8.5. The jeweler that looked over the ring was not impressed with the work and there was no discussion about the ring being bent or sized multiple times.

Donna greeted me with a genuine warmth that told me she loves what she does. She's incredibly patient, taking the time to explain the nuances of history in the antique pieces, the metals, stones, and settings in a way that makes sense. She encouraged curiosity, inviting me to try on anything that sparked joy, no pressure--just possibilities. Brandon and Sean kept the energy high with their easy smiles and readiness to help whenever needed. The whole team made it feel less like a purchase and more like a thoughtful journey toward something meaningful. When we decided to upgrade our wedding rings, the experience only got better. I found a beautiful Art Deco piece that just fits what I was looking for perfectly. We both found pieces we love, the price was fair, and the service was flawless from start to finish. If you want a jewelry shopping experience that's educational, stress-free, and truly welcoming--where you're treated like family--this is the place to go. Five stars from us.

Brandon was the first to help us and apologized saying he didn't realize we were waiting. Again, no big deal he got right into figuring out what we had come in for. We said we wanted to look at engagement rights together and wanna see what we like and don't like cause how can you know unless you go try some on. We were then sat down with another associate, Sean. Idk if he was just looking to make only money that day but customer experience was horrible. He was asking what I was looking for I said I'm leaning towards a Dutch marquise but know they're hard to come by so I wanted to see marquise in person on my finger to get an idea if I'd like it in real life. Brandon had already laid out some marquise for me beforehand so Sean showed be them again and then talked AT me and explained what I wanted was an elongated hex... thank you, thats great to know although both are correct. He explained what cut and clarity were. Not something I was confused about but again, thanks. He pulled up some from his source and told us how much they were and it felt as if he was trying to make us leave or scare us away by mentioning the prices. Then he asked for timeline and my boyfriend didn't wanna say exactly what the timeline was in front of me and it's like a switch went off and he just wanted us out of his store. He was like okay well here's my card and lmk when you guys are ready. And then we just sat there in an awkward silence for a moment cause he dismissed us so fast we couldn't even process we were being kicked out lol. Anyway... I would not recommend coming here unless you can be perceived as being loaded, if you get what I'm saying. Horrible customer service from Sean. Brandon however, was great. Really wanted to support a jeweler local to us but I could never spend money at a place that treats their potential customers like this.

Joseph jewelry was one out of only three places in the area that I could find that offered cutting services. You can book appointments online with them within a day. At first I talked with Tony from the Seattle location and he helped inform me Bellevue is where Danny, the one in charge of the cutting usually works. I came in without an appointment and Christine offered to help me right away. The ambience in the store is very clean, comfortable, and has good lighting. Christine took a look at my stone in great detail, helped walk me through the process of what the cutting would look like. She also got me set up with an account that they will message me on with updates. I will say with the online booking and different actions allowed through their site/my account was so refreshing. A lot of jewelry places that I contacted or reviewed initially through my research were pretty dated. They would have you submit a filled out contact form, have to leave an email hoping for a response (and a few never did respond), or call them and hope they answer. This place is definitely the opposite. Having everything so accessible and allowing customers to self-serve via their portal and website is so nice and allowed me as the customer to feel like I can take some charge of the process and what I need. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place to visit for any jewelry needs! The customer service is very personable and great, they're one of the few places that I could find to cut my gemstone, and the online accessibility is so convenient. I will update once my project is actually complete, but just wanted to leave this review for now.

When I needed my wedding ring to have a new head & prongs i promptly went back to Joseph as I trusted their work. My original diamond was inherited and over 100 years old, I had splintered the diamond and they gave me a few options. They told me they could rehead it but it may cause the diamond to crack or break, I could replace it, or just wait to think about it. I appreciated the honesty and them taking the time to let me make a hard decision after wearing a sentimental stone for 27 years. I decided to remove my old stone and purchase a new diamond. Christine was phenomenal in assisting us, going through quality and cost and not rushing us. You have a portal you can log into to see how your item is progressing and you can message the store. I messaged them about the sizing and they responded within an hour and was able to make an adjustment. I also had a family member pass away and asked if it would be done a few days early. Christine at no charge put a rush on it and it was ready for me to pick up before I left town. I won't go anywhere else, they have my business from here on out.

I noticed the prices were very good on her posts so I decided to take a look at her website. I saw nothing but good reviews so I decoded to reach out to get a consultation. After being super indecisive I ended up giving Molly a call and she was super helpful and knowledgeable. She worked with me on picking the perfect stone , choosing a nice setting and designed it start to finish. The turnaround time was very fast and she gave me updates quite frequently throughout the whole process. She video chatted me with the actual diamond and sent me preliminary CAD drawings. She even gave me suggestions and ideas about making a proposal. I ended up choosing my lady's favorite restaurant and tried to make a reservation which didn't go as planned. The lady at the restaurant blew me off the phone. I told Molly what happened and she called the restaurant and got the manager on the phone. She literally set the reservation for me and had the manager reach out to me. I didn't expect her to go out of her way to do that for me but she was legitimately concerned about this being perfect. I was able to coordinate my proposal with the restaurant manager and it was AMAZING thanks to her. The ring came out sooooo nice I will have to post a picture of it when I get a chance. I had to delete all the ones I had because I didn't want her snooping through my phone and spoil it all lol. If you're looking for an honest and reputable jeweler then go with EB. I took a chance and it paid off and she has a customer for life. Thank you for getting me the best quality ring I've seen for the price by far and even better customer service. I will be back soon!
