This is with dash pass. The restaurant missed this order completely and didn't even give us our fries we added a combo to this sandwich which was sourdough bread and was cut in two no photo taken. Where my old photo had 4 sandwiches could be choice or bread. However to say the least paying almost $40 for a sandwich seems crazy only for them to forget our fries. We called the restaurant and they didn't resend our fries since door dash said no at least they tried. In the restaurant this is $11.99 and $4.99 for a combo of that is still not even half the price we paid how is that even fair. Will never order from here.

It's an easy stop off the freeway, and the moment we walked in, Drew (the owner) greeted us with a warm welcome and friendly conversation. He shared that they grind their burgers fresh daily and source their bread from the local Genova bakery. We tried their popular tri-tip sandwich--an absolute no-brainer--and the turkey club on sourdough, both of which were excellent. The double-fried steak fries were also a standout--crispy and perfectly seasoned. If you're passing through or in the area, definitely give this local deli a try--and don't forget to say hi to Drew! He makes the experience even better.

Finally decided to visit this Stockton staple and boy am I glad I did. Let's dive in…read more.. Ambiance - This is a corner market with Italian items and the big draw is their sandwich counter. You walk in, fill out a form with what type of sandwich you want, hand it to a person when you're called, and then wait for your name to be called. Service - The staff were friendly, so no complaints here. Food - The food is great! I ordered a combo sandwich with turkey, hot salami, and jalapeño/cayenne cheddar and all the fixins and it was delicious! The Dutch crunch roll was tasty and it was a hearty sandwich! Everything tasted great. Overall, I can see why this is a Stockton staple. For $11 you get a damn good sandwich that's very filling. I would definitely return.

They really brought a fresh taste to Stockton and it sure needs a little Italian culture there lol. I have been to both New York and Italy so I have a lot to compare to and I really loved this place. Lots of fresh meat and the sandwiches are so good, the cannoli is also fresh and really good as well. Definitely going to go back again. Service was a little slow but in fairness they did have a long line, ambiance was very old Italian deli vibe. I wouldn't say Italy but I would say it's more leaving towards Brooklyn vibes.

The ordering process is simple: order at the counter, grab a table, and place your order number on top. The staff then delivers the food directly to you. Service was slow since there was only 1 person taking orders but our wait for the food was reasonable, it took about 20 minutes. We ordered three bowls of clam chowder and shared the prosciutto bianca styled pinsa pizza. The clam chowder was delicious and the pizza was good even though it got a bit hard as it cooled. Overall both dishes were delicious. The soup and pizza combination hit the spot.

The Stockton store went way downhill. This place used to be so good. Not sure what happened with…read morethe last manager. However, this manager and the team is horrible. The manager must be a family member, for the original owners to allow this location to go so far down. I stopped in today, after months. 6 months, checked my last review. Yes had an issue that time. Thought maybe the staff changed. I ordered on the kiosk as always, most of the staff looked at me repeatedly, finally, one offered to help, after a customer, a lady nicely told him I was first, he told me he will be with me after. After finishing, he said someone will get my ordered made. No one ever acknowledged my order. Some staff, kept going to the back, coming up front, looking at each other and laughing. So, since the shake machine is in the back, out of sight, I didn't trust them making it, so I stopped a staff member and asked to cancel my order. He did without an issue, because no one bother to start it. As the on duty manager was refunding me. A staff member came from the back and lowly asked him if it was canceled. He turned and said yes. So maybe, they already cleaned the machine and don't want to use it, not sure. He did offer a free pastry, I had one on my order, but told him no, it was ok. Always make a point to withhold your money, if you aren't treated as a wanted customer. Everything is too high nowadays. And unfortunately, employees think, their bosses pay them, regardless of money coming through the business. Also, after the previous manager, the food quality has gone way down. It's sad to see the place so empty, compared to how it was before. So disappointing!

Some plates were worth it, others weren't, and at the prices they're charging the gaps were hard to ignore. The appetizers were the highlight of the meal. The deviled eggs were a hit at the table and went fast. The jalapeño on each one was a nice touch, though the heat varied depending on which egg you grabbed since it was just a thin slice. The salmon cakes were solid, nothing to complain about. My mom's ceviche tostada was loaded, the avocado was generous and fresh, but the ceviche itself lacked the acidity you expect from the dish and had very little shrimp in it. She said it felt more like a lunch item than a dinner offering, though two of them were filling. My mom's friend had the steak frites, which was the standout plate of the night: a lean cut with a rich mushroom béchamel, well cooked, and the frites were fried rather than what you might expect, but the flavor delivered. My dad's spinach salad was underwhelming, overdressed with a balsamic that was too sharp and overpowered everything else. My ribeye was the disappointment. At $65 I expected better. It was thin, closer to pounded than what you'd expect from the cut, came out medium instead of medium rare, and didn't feel substantial for the price. The baked potato was a basic side, sour cream and onion, nothing more. The broccolini arrived at room temperature, borderline cold, which was unexpected. The au jus on the side didn't add much for me. Service was attentive but veered into overdone territory, the kind of performative politeness that signals they want a good tip more than they're genuinely being warm. It was noticeable. Also worth knowing: if you're seated near the windows, the afternoon sun can be blinding depending on when you go. The atmosphere is genuinely nice and this place works better as a brunch spot than a special occasion dinner destination. I've had better meals here before, which is why I know they can do better. One practical note: if you're parking in the disabled spots near the leasing center next door, the sidewalk doesn't connect to the restaurant entrance. You'll need to go through the parking lot to get there.
