we love a little locally owned coffee shop!! i got a small iced caramel macchiato with oat milk. super super good. strong, but not bitter. it may be the best coffee i've had in a while. way better than starbucks. pricing is pretty comparable to starbucks but its local so id rather support this place. i also got a panini. they do sell out quick so be sure to get there early if you wanna make sure you get one. its made with sourdough and so delish. it's so simple yet done so well. the bread was perfectly toasted so it was crunchy but still soft.

Good iced tea! And, there is coffee, of course, along with some pastries. Friendly staff. Plenty of outside seating and inside, too. Nice corner spot at Lakewood Mall area. Come sip and reflect on the day ahead or the past!

The first thing I noticed was the amazingly friendly service. The staff seem so cheerful, knowledgeable about the menu, and are helpful. The drinks we got were pretty good. I had the Nutty Hawaiian. I really appreciated that the barista who helped us ensured confirmed whether or not we wanted their default dairy milk, or an alternative milk, so we opted for soy milk. Also got the brie and herb croissant, which wasn't as flaky as I would have liked, but I really enjoyed the brie in there nonetheless. They also asked if we wanted it warmed up, which I appreciated...definitely get it warmed up!

We were looking for a new coffee shop to try before heading to a nearby car dealership, and this one caught my eye for their specialty drink menu. They have a nice corner spot and it's very spacious inside. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. I decided to have "The Jenn" which is sweetened espresso with chocolate and cinnamon, and I ordered it with soy milk. I noticed she made it using a whisk, which resulted in a very creamy and smooth drink! I was really impressed by this small town coffee shop and loved the drink. I don't know when I'll be in Lodi next but I'd definitely stop by again!

This place is adorable and has great coffee. I love that they are so personal and really care about their customers. It has a cute little boutique feel to it, but all the cute jewlery I see in there is WAY to expensive for me! Oh well! I'm glad this place stayed open even with it's challenger Starbucks right across the street. This is a classic Lodi spot, which means there's a good chance you'll run into someone you know there... whether that's good or bad is up to you!

If your up for a treat, try the Funky Monkey.

Ask the Community - House of Coffees

Hi ! Does Debbie still own this shop ? Thanks kindly ! Marcia

Hi there! She does not, she sold it to an employee about 10 years ago and I purchased it from the previous owner. She’s retired now but still a familiar face and still a part of the hoc family. my name is Sami and I’m honored to be a part of HOC’s…

Do they happen to have any Vegan food options?

Hi there! Occasionally on mondays & tuesdays our baker who bakes exclusively gluten free makes vegan goodies. You’re always welcome to call ahead and see what we have that day!

Maison is on the grounds near the main roadway that Appellation is on. They've got a bakery here, as well as a wine bar of sorts connected to it. The bread here is so fresh, soft, & good. We ended up getting 2 fresh loafs to bring back home. You can take your food and coffee and sit out back or out front. Tons of people I think stop in here to hang and get a quick bite and just sit outside and enjoy the weather and people watch. Nice place to hang.

I got mine with no cheese and a side of onions, and it was every bit as good as I remembered. One thing that was a little odd was that my friend's plate came with chips and veggies while mine only came with the sandwich and veggies. I'm not sure if there was a difference in how the orders were entered, but it definitely caught my attention. That said, those chips were absolutely delicious. We liked them so much that we packed up the leftovers and took them with us while we walked over to the visitor center afterward. That's always a good sign when you're making sure not a single chip goes to waste. We've been here quite a few times over the years, and one thing that keeps us coming back is the consistency. The food is always excellent, and even on busier days they seem to keep things moving. During this visit the restaurant was fairly crowded, but we were still served promptly and never felt forgotten. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about Maison. It feels relaxed without being overly casual and always makes for a nice lunch stop when we're in Lodi. Helpful tip: If the chips come with your meal, don't leave them behind. They're surprisingly addictive and worth taking home if you can't finish them. Between the great food, friendly service, and reliable consistency, Maison continues to be one of our favorite places to stop whenever we're spending the day in Lodi.

YAY! :0) We came here on a weekday for the 1st time and were delighted by the staff and delicious fresh food, pastries and bread. We enjoyed the fresh perfectly baked, crusty baguette, croque monsieur, almond croissant and avocado toast. We arrived too late to try their quiche because they sold out but were told we could try to call in the order on the phone next time. Additionally, we were informed that their focaccia pizza on ?Thursday? is a "must try" too! :0) Thank you to the entire team for your very welcoming hospitality and your beautiful and delicious brunch options! Anyway for the food, you walk in, line up, order, then find a seat. It was difficult to find seating. It was loud, crowded, and felt a little packed. I think next time I will order my stuff for to go. They had soo many choices. It was hard to pick just one or two things, so we got 4 to share. Everything was delicious. Freshly baked. My favorite was I think it was called croque monsieur? Sough dough bread, I think maybe bechamel and cheese, and veggies. It was hard to cut so I just ate it with my hands. The concha was also really nice, still soft the next day.
