Instead, she cut my natural nails extremely short, then immediately pulled out the acrylics. I spent a long time growing my nails out. I told her several different times that I wasn't there for acrylics. It was pretty obvious by the length of my nails that I wanted to keep my natural nails. I honestly think she did it on purpose, hoping I'd change my mind after she'd already cut them off and let her do a $60+ acrylic service instead. I can't prove it, but that was definitely the vibe I got since she just kept trying to push acrylics. I should have just been patient and gone to my nail lady in Orange County. Instead, I left with extremely short nails because she couldn't just listen. On top of that, I was told the wait for a walk-in would be 10-15 minutes. I ended up waiting 30 minutes. I don't mind waiting, but just be transparent about the wait time so customers know what to expect. Regardless of her pushing acrylics and basically ruining my natural nails, I still got the exact service I originally asked for. So no, she didn't get the $60+ acrylic service, and she didn't get a tip either. Listen to the customer instead of just doing what you want. If someone says they want to keep their natural nails, respect that. Customers are coming to you for a service they requested, not for you to decide what you think they should get. I'll never come here again.

Before sitting down, I asked if there was enough time since the salon closed at 5:00 p.m. I was told yes and was seated. Had they told me they didn't have enough time, I would have gladly come back another day. I asked the technician to repair a few chipped nails and, since it had been a while, to redo all of the gel so they would all look uniform. From the beginning, it was obvious she was rushing. She skipped steps in the gel application, the polish was streaky, and it was flooding onto my cuticles and the sides of my fingers. I politely pointed out the areas that needed to be cleaned up, but she became increasingly frustrated instead of addressing them. When I mentioned that the polish around my cuticles was uneven, she began scraping away cured gel rather than fixing it properly, leaving the manicure looking even worse. At that point, I asked her to stop. What happened next was completely unacceptable. Another employee walked over, stood over me in front of another customer and several employees, and said, "You come back tomorrow. Jenny can do your nails. You're too picky." I was stunned. Asking for a clean, properly applied gel manicure is not being "too picky." I wasn't asking for perfection--I was asking for the service I was paying for to be done correctly. If the technician was unable to complete the service because it was close to closing time, that should have been communicated before I was ever seated. Instead, I was publicly criticized and made to feel like I was the problem for speaking up. After years of being a loyal customer, that was incredibly disrespectful and humiliating. I went to the front desk and explained what had happened. The gentleman working there apologized and agreed that the employee should not have spoken to me that way. While I appreciated his professionalism, the damage had already been done. This review is not about a bad manicure. Mistakes happen, and I would have happily come back the next day if someone had simply said, "We're short on time, and we'd like to make sure your nails are done properly." This review is about how I was treated when I politely asked for obvious mistakes to be corrected. No customer should ever be rushed through a service, publicly labeled as "too picky," or spoken to in such a disrespectful manner for expecting quality work. After years of supporting this business, I left feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and certain that I will not be returning.

I came in wanting an OPI "Bubble Bunny" nail color, and even though they didn't have that exact polish, she worked with what they had and still gave me exactly the color and finish I wanted. I asked for short nails, not too pointy--more of a soft oval--and she nailed it perfectly. I left so happy with my set! This is actually my second time coming to her. The first time I got a pedicure with acrylic, and she didn't disappoint at all--that's why I came back to her for this beautiful, simple builder gel set. Highly recommend Arianna if you want someone who listens, understands your vision, and delivers every time
