Accommodations were super-clean, comfy, and spacious enough for our family of four. It was entertaining to see the 18 calves that were born in spring frolicking with the herd. I bought summer sausage and Bison meat in the store, and my wife and daughters bought some tops and jewelry at the Black Horn boutique. We'll always remember our stay at the Pohl Bison B&B!

Diane is an amazing host; upon arrival she walks you through to the room and explains the whole house layout. Excellent for groups we stayed along with my aunt and cousin. Our room was cozy and the themes robbers roost and Canterbury tales added to the character of the house. The little details in every inch of this place from the complimentary bottle of wine to the coffee and tea varieties available speak to the hospitality of our gracious host. So get your group together and book a night out; you won't be disappointed:)

This ranch did not disappoint. Each room is decorated so cute, the beds were very comfortable and having a private bathroom for each room was a defendant plus. The breakfast was homemade and very delicious! The owner made sure each room was clean and even asked us if the breakfast time was good for us. You won't get this kind of service at a hotel. The surrounding ranch was beautiful. Sitting on the large deck overlooking the horse ranch with coffee in hand was so calming. I wanted to stay longer. I would recommend staying here for as long as your vacation allows. You may even bring your horse or book to ride their horse. They have a large property with trails, along with state land behind them which also has many trails. I would recommend staying here, you won't want to leave.

Quiet, scenic, private, relaxed, good value…read more This is a unique little B&B, only one unit is available. The Little House is divided into four rooms. When you enter you walk into the dining room. From the dining room, there is a door that can be closed/locked which goes into the living/tv room. From here there is a door leading to a fenced back yard area with a swimming pool. The next room is the bedroom and then the bathroom. In the morning the hosts deliver breakfast to the dining room area and since there is a door separating you from the dining area, you keep your privacy yet have hot breakfast delivered to your table. Breakfast is pretty amazing and plentiful and we received a full pot of hot coffee. The property is huge with lots of mowed trails to explore on a lightly sloping terrain. The place is clean, 'country', and very relaxing. We enjoyed our stay immensely and intend on coming back again.

Even ones without showers, which is unheard of, which adds to the home's character. We got the 3rd floor room #5 which had a living room, kitchen, and bathroom on the floor - since room #6 was being renovated we got to have the whole floor to ourselves. Deb makes fresh chocolate chip cookies which are amazing The neighborhood itself is great - Heritage Hill - a neighborhood of 1000 homes all older than our great grandparents :) Within a 10 minute walk to the east you'll find half a dozen or so restaurants and bars and one of the jewels of the neighborhood - Art of the Table - which has spirits and tons of unique foods and knick knacks. Downtown is only a 20 minute walk if that's what you fancy. Rates were half of rooms downtown but with double the charm and service Look forward to coming back again!
