We called Laguna West Dental Care, and they were able to get us in first thing the very next morning. From the moment we walked through the door, everyone was welcoming, kind, and reassuring. The front office staff greeted us with smiles and even helped lighten the mood by joking with my son about his pool adventure. We were taken back right on time for X-rays and then met with Dr. Sethi, who thoroughly explained the treatment options. He gave us two choices: composite bonding to rebuild the teeth or crowns. We decided to try the more conservative approach first in an effort to preserve as much of my son's natural teeth as possible. Dr. Sethi carefully explained the pros and cons, including the possibility that the composite could chip in the future due to the amount of tooth structure that needed to be rebuilt. Although they weren't able to complete the procedure during the morning appointment, they went out of their way to fit us back into the schedule that same afternoon. I truly appreciated their flexibility and willingness to help during a stressful situation. The results were amazing. Dr. Sethi did a beautiful job matching the color of my son's teeth and rebuilding them so naturally that it's difficult to tell they were ever damaged. He took the time to explain everything throughout the process and had an excellent bedside manner that immediately put us at ease. I left also because they cracked my tooth when they tried to do a filling, and said I now need a root canal, costing $2800. My new dentist discovered that not only did they crack my tooth, Le Dental also didn't fix the cavity and left it there with filling over it. Attached photo is a picture my new dentist took of Le Dental's failure to do a proper filling and leaving behind the cavity. Lately I started to hear more people complaining about high charges or having to pay for another procedure at the reception area. Didn't think much about it until it happened to me. After a cleaning, they said one of my fillings needed to be redone. The procedure left a throbbing/sharp pain on my tooth. The pain wouldn't go away, so I came back to get it checked, and there's a large crack on my tooth. They started coming up with reasons why it wasn't their fault. First they said it's due to teeth grinding. I pointed out this tooth doesn't touch and I can't grind on it. Then they said the crack was always there. I point out the pain didn't start until they did the filling, and they never mentioned this crack before. He said I never mentioned any pain, that's why they never pointed out the crack. He probably realized how ridiculous that sounded, and later on said it was a hidden crack, and the filling just exposed it. Very dishonest, and not someone who stands by their work. Due to this, plus several other issues I experienced, I switched to a new dentist, and only had to pay $200 out of pocket to fix.
