Now that staff runs the show and did not have the courtesy to reply to a simple email from a decades long customer who has spent tens of thousands of dollars, at least, on their auctions. Instead, they had "lower level" staff produce a generic reply- we value your concerns.... yada, yada.... We firmly believe they are now very unethical with little regard for honesty or their buyers concerns. We believe that any/all NYS Real Estate contracts or any contracts with government/state property should be revoked.

It's also great to have something like this so close to hiking trails. In a world where fake environmentalists promote car culture, and places like Garrison have nice trails next to ghost towns, it's hard to beat the convenience of Water Street to the rail trail and river-to-ridge trails - scenic mountain views a few blocks away from the bus station.

It's set up so a large number of different vendors rent space and set up their area themselves and set their own prices. The system means that you can find a huge variety of stuff... it's the sort of place I love browsing through most. It's also a large space, with multiple rooms. I ended up dropping $100 that I hadn't meant to spend - but I also feel that it was half the price I'd have paid elsewhere for a similar item, so I'm quite delighted. (Note, however, that they don't take AmEx, and they're apparently not willing to cut you a break on the prices (or even the tax) if you pay cash. There's a similar place just two doors down called the Millbrook Antiques Mall. I didn't have time to browse there... but if you're not on a schedule, you definitely want to check out both!

They have pieces dating back to the 40's (and maybe even earlier than that). We were able to find an awesome pair of military fatigues, two perfect fitting Levi's and a couple of really cool genuine military and vintage over-shirts. The owner of the shop was so helpful in pulling pieces for me to try on, especially after telling her I don't love trying on denim. The two pairs of pants she passed me were the ones I ended up buying. Overall 12/10 experience. The ambiance of the shop is great, customer service is A+ and we really enjoyed our time here. You'd think there's plenty opportunities for vintage where we live in CA but this place is unique- he's got a really interesting range of things and reasonably priced.
