Being able to feel the difference between Sculptflex (more compression) and Luxform (softer/loungier) in person is so helpful. It's a smaller boutique, so it can get crowded on weekends. It was pretty crowded when we were there. I had a nice conversation with another mom from Sarasota, FL who was also shopping with her college age daughter. Also I found out that some colors are prone to showing sweat, so please ask the employees which ones are 'workout safe' if you're a heavy sweater. Overall, a great experience but unfortunately, we didn't find anything. I think we like the lighter fabrics to tell you the truth.

They only have one or two sizes / items of each style though, and they don't have additional sizes available in the back.

Located in SoHo and two stories. Love their quick checkout using smart bins, where you drop all your clothes into a box at the register and an instant total rings to check out. No need to scan barcodes one by one. Quick tip: check the lower level in the back for clearance items. Also GU clothes run small for tighter items, so you may need to go one size up. I'd be ecstatic if the next US GU location will be in the West Coast (California hint hint:):)
