THE WORST SERVICE. Most food was... ok. Trying to call was a nightmare. It's another robo-only service. To get hours I had to press 1... to which they said they'd TEXT the hours?! Which I never got. And I tried twice. Trying to find the place was a nightmare. This one is IN WHOLE FOODS. I saw nothing ahead of time to tell me that. Google Maps is usually reliable and had the pin all the way to the end of the shopping center. But inside was just the produce department. We had to ask Whole Foods for help - they were on the far LEFT where wine is. Trying to get in line was a nightmare. We're surrounded by people getting their own food from the premade self serve salad bars. And people pushing past with shopping carts. And workers coming around with giant tray carts. Ordering was absolutely a nightmare. Their system was apparently totally down. They were talking to the family ahead of us to try ordering via the website but that may not work. I couldn't get a signal without finding the Whole Foods wifi. And yeah, this place isn't a restraint which we thought so we drove all the way here to do pickup. We wanted to sit down. But nothing we saw ahead of time told us this was just a kiosk. The workers never greeted us. No idea if they greeted the family. The mom was the one who asked for help. They were cursing after apparently burning themselves. Order said it would take about 15min and that was about correct. A tad longer, nothing to complain about on that but 15min for fast food at all is ridiculous. But at least they were accurate up front with how long it'd take. Food was brought out to us which was nice. But no ketchup. No napkins. And we both got milkshakes however we got no straws either! And one of the straws split when we used them. And they didn't seem biodegradable. Food: I've said enough bad so I'll start with the good: I got the first burger option on the menu, delicious! Fell out of the bun easily but it was great! No where near as fat and robust and tall and as an Impossible Whopper. But delicious. PLNT sauce was out of this world delicious. So it's too bad it came in a thimble sized plastic itty bitty holder. My thumb could barely fit in it. The shake was delicious. I got the mint with brownie and it was perfect. Like the real thing. And I got sweet potato fries. Not very good. Limp, rubbery, chewed like it wasn't fully cooked. Outside barely had any crisp on it. Maybe a millimeter of crisp on every other fry. Very let down. read more

I found this place by searching for Vegan food in the area. To my surprise it was in Whole Foods which was cool because I don't have it in my local store. Anyway, food was fantastic. I didn't have high hopes but was pleasantly surprised by how good this food was. Had the bbq mushroom burger with sweet potato fries. Fries were crispy and seasoned well. The burger was done very well. The mushrooms had so much flavor in them. Really made the sandwich. I'm disappointed it's not closer to where I live but I'd grab a burger again if in the area. Nice service with a pretty short wait considering it was lunch time in a Whole Foods store. I expected it would be busier but it was a nice steady flow and I was able to order and get my food quickly. A must try if Vegan, vegetarian or just like good food. read more

As someone with food allergies in the family, we are careful with questions, ordering, and selecting options when we eat out. Despite marketing themselves as educated on allergies and supporting food options, it's clearly hit or miss with our experience being very poor. We paid for extras (like avocado) that we never received, and there were mix ups with the milkshake flavors. It was also ready 20 minutes late from when it was supposed to be ready for pick up, despite us being the only people there waiting. Will not return. read more

Here's a clean, strong Yelp-style review that keeps it factual and credible without sounding emotional or rambling: Horrible management and an extremely unprofessional environment. I originally spoke to the GM because an employee was yelling at customers, including me, creating a hostile and uncomfortable atmosphere that felt completely out of place for this area. I never named or described the employee .I was simply reporting what happened. Instead of handling it professionally, the GM went back and repeated what I said to the staff. When I returned later, a manager actually tried to fight me. That manager was eventually fired, but the employee who was rude to customers was kept. I was offered free food as an apology, but on my next visit, that same employee refused to serve me. After declining more free food, the GM later called me and suddenly claimed that all of the issues were my fault, accusing me of being upset because I supposedly made a pass at the employee three months earlier and was rejected. This accusation was never mentioned by the manager who tried to fight me, nor by anyone else, until weeks later ,only after someone was fired. I escalated the issue to the manager above her, but it became clear they were all friends, so nothing was resolved. I ultimately stopped going. It's disappointing because I spent over $500 a year here and lived in Jenkintown for five years without ever having an issue anywhere else. Instead of holding employees accountable, management chose to protect bad behavior. Save yourself the drama. This place feels more like a reality show than a business. read more

First things first: this is located inside the Whole Foods. I had the double PLNT burger and it was very good. My only complaint was probably a little too much "cheese" The fries were excellent. I got the large and it was an enormous serving. They are really good. As mentioned, it's a counterspace inside the Whole Foods grocery store so there isn't much as far as ambience, but the service was friendly and fairly fast. Next time I'm in the area. As many times as I've been to Whole Foods, it never crossed my mind to grub at PLNT Burger. Until today. I placed an order on Too Good to Go and grabbed a meal at a discounted price. When I arrived, I presented the cashier with my confirmation code and she asked if I was picking up for Too Good to Go. She asked if I could give her 5 minutes. The food was prepared right there on the spot, and wasn't left out sitting which I appreciated. She wrapped everything up and handed me my order. With Too Good to Go, the food you reserve is a mystery so I didn't really know what was given to me until I made it home. In the bag was a PLNT Cheeseburger, a small order of crispy herb fries, ketchup and some herby sauce for dipping. I also got a drink (lemonade?). I wasn't a fan because it tasted like Clorox. The burger and fries however, SLAPPED. The burger had a thousand island-ish sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickle. It tasted like an impossible burger but a little softer. The fries reminded me of an onion ring with the crunchy texture. They had a perfect amount of the herb seasoning. Overall, a great experience with this restaurant and Too Good to Go. I felt good about saving food that would've otherwise went to waste. I will be back to try their other delicious items! read more

I had my first vegan meal from here and OMG it was SOOOOO good!! I expected the spicy chick n' sandwich to taste different than an actual chicken sandwich but it didn't. The fries were great and the vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles wasn't bad. The flavor wasn't quite like actual vanilla I'm used to but it was still good.I would definitely get another one. Firstly, forget about the food for a second. The staff is absolutely terrific! Ronnie, the manager, is a person who truly cares about his work and his customers. 100% Responsibility. 100% Accountability. On top of that, he and his staff are uncommonly kind and generous. My wife has severe allergies, and the one sweet that she can safely enjoy is the Vanilla Oatasty Shake. They are quite popular, however, and quickly run out of stock. The last time I stopped by for an order, vanilla was out. When Ronnie learned of my wife's dietary restrictions, he empathized and took it upon himself to make for my wife a vanilla shake by hand. He then said it was on the house for the trouble. Wow! What a guy! I nearly cried over his humanity. Back to the accountability bit, I accidentally left my juice at the counter as I had a large order and was distracted. Ronnie to the rescue! He tracked me down and put that juice in my hand like a man on a mission. What more can I say about a manager and his company who put their core selves into their work and the service they offer their customers? Okay, now let's talk food. *Drool* You sure this is made from plants? 'Cause holy smokes! I've had beef burgers that couldn't compare to the quality and flavor of PLNT Burgers. The patties themselves are unbelievably savory, let alone all the unique sauces, rich spices, primo toppings, and wholesome buns. Even their lettuce wraps in lieu of bread are delicious and of supreme quality. The wraps are not those typical, wet and soggy, yet still somehow cracking apart, too-small slices haphazardly slapped on a sad and disappointing patty from other digs. They are both dry to the touch and completely contain the burger and all its accompanying flavor-busting condiments, toppings, and add-ons. Are you a potato fan? Then get your hands on some of the Sweet Potato Crinkles, 'cause jeepers are they somethin' special! I've had them with and without spices, and each experience is wonderfully its own. Again, the herbs are mouth-wateringly activating, but having the potatoes without them is equally as satisfying as you can savor the chip in all its yummy and still healthy-tasting glory! Oh, and that juice I mentioned? Berry Patch! An all-organic, non-junk juice possessing a flavor profile that sits somewhere between the heart of life-breathing Summer zest and the cozy confines of relaxing Autumnal reflection. My only regret about visiting PLNT Burger? The burgers and potatoes are so darned good I have yet to order from the rest of the menu and am surely missing out on more knee-slappin' grub that I could be ranting about here in this post. Seriously, do yourself a favor and visit PLNT Burger for a guilt-free meal you will not only enjoy to a degree beyond measure but will dream of while you go about your daily tasks at work, school, or home. Tried tonight from the Too Good to Go App. Wasn't sure what I was going to get but for $4 figured it would be worth it! Ended up getting the chkn sandwhich, fries, an orange type drink, and 3 sauces. honey mustard, some sweet smokey sauce, and an herby sauce. Everything was really yummy and the chkn sandwhich was great. My bf said he wouldn't be able to tell it wasn't vegan if he didn't know! Definitely will be coming back soon. read more

I have ordered from here several times and I can say that they only get your order right about 60% of the time. They are always out of something. One time when they were out of a particular sandwich, they at least called me to discuss substitutions. However, for the most recent order I made, they just wrote "No Bloomies" with a sharpie on the take out bag. They also gave me a vanilla milkshake when I ordered chocolate. The food is good, but they are just not thorough or consistent. I have only ordered through delivery services, so perhaps going there in person could be a better experience. At least you'd be able to check your bag right then and there and they would be able to fix it. Through delivery, they have basically have ruined your meal and the best you can do is get a credit back. I also dislike how tiny their sauces are. You have to pay an extra .25 cents for sauce the size of a thimble when other places will give you sauce for free or at least a good amount. I can't even dip my burger in that container. So if you are going to order from this PLNT Burger, do so with caution and low expectations. It will be good...but possibly wrong. read more

Definitely a nice new vegan option in Jenkinstown, PLNT Burger is now open inside of Whole Foods. The staff is very nice too, located right in between the pizza and the refrigerated foods to go section. I ordered the cheeseburger, it was the most real tasting burger I've ever had and I've had them all. I bit into it and thought, oh my, did they accidentally make me a real burger with meat? Two seconds later, I realized that beyond updated their patty and that's why it was not familiar to me. I really wanted to order their 'chicken' or burger with onions, cheese, bar bq sauce and 'bacon', but those are made with mushrooms and I hate mushrooms. :( They also have fries and soft serve. In June of 2023 year and was told I would get an opportunity to come back to the trial and still haven't received anything. The Jenkintown establishment is inside of a Whole Foods. I did not know this, and my family drove an hour from Jersey for a little bday dinner, so it was a little shocking when we pulled up and I realized this location wasn't standalone lol. But we enjoyed it nonetheless! The sandwiches were a a perfect meal portion, and my non-vegan family members enjoyed everything :) We approve the green bean fries, sweet potato fries, and the original. Spicy chicken sandwich was like a 1/10 for me, no lingering spice just good hot sauce. The vanilla soft serve was I think soy or oat based, nice smooth texture. Hello I went to plant burger which is located in Whole Foods and I ordered the plant chili bowl but when I got home I discovered it was a plantbased burger with fries that I didn't order in the first place. The burger was small. The non dairy ice cream that I ordered didn't look like the picture. I was displeased it would be nice that they could change the way they do things and maybe more people will keep coming back. This is so delicious! The burgers taste like smashburgers, with crispy edges and all, and I think anyone would be hard pressed to identify them as vegan. The fries and sauces are extremely solid, too. My daughter is a new vegetarian, so we tried this as a family and now can't wait to go back whenever we need a burger fix. I'd say it's just about on par with Shake Shack, which was our previous family favorite (though I am sure the ice cream is probably better at Shake Shack, but I should probably try it here just to be sure ;) ). read more
