I've only ever gotten takeout here. Wow- on the portion sizes, I have food for 3 days. Entrees are…read moremostly under $15 and the to go box felt surprisingly heavy, filled to the brim with food. The chicken lo Mein could have been more flavorful but had generous veggies throughout. The sweet and sour chicken was fried to a crispy brown, with the sauce on the side which is nice to preserve the freshness for the drive home. Dining room is clean and inviting. The very young boys working the counter were polite and capable despite not looking a day over 12 years old. Added on sugar donuts and food was ready to go right on time, donuts only took 6-7 minutes. It was a shock to get home and open the box of 10 sugar donuts that I paid $6 for! What a steal.

Yo Mian is definitely the place to go when you're in the mood for Assian cuisine. It's one of those…read moreAssian Fusion Restaurants that you have dreamed about all your life and when you find it, it's like finding a pot of gold. Located in a relatively new Modern Strip Mall on 36 Kingston Drive in Daleville, Virginia, This woman owned restaurant prides itself by its visually appealing dishes and commitment to quality. It's menu is simple yet full of a variety of items to choose from, from a flavorful Sesame Chicken Entrée, to a Spicy Miso Ramen Soup, to a Korean Fried Chicken Bowl, to a Japanese Hibachi Entrée. All items served in generous portions and at very reasonable prices. Each dish is crafted with high-quality ingredients and cooked to perfection by its very talented lady chef and owner of this amazing restaurant. The interior design of the restaurant is simple, yet elegant and clean, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. I visited the restaurant with a friend for an early dinner. We found it to be very clean with an modern and elegant decor, setting the mood to what would be an extraordinary dining experience. Food is ordered at the counter. where a young man who seemed to be the son of the owner greeted us with a smile and took our order. My friend ordered the Sesame Chicken served with Fried Rice. And I ordered the Hibachi Steak and Scallops served with Fried Rice and Vegetables. We both ordered Iced Water to drink. After paying with a credit card we went to be seated at the table of our choosing. While we talked and enjoyed the beautiful decor of the dining area, the food was cooked and prepared by the chef and personally brought to our table by her with a very hospitable attitude and warm smile. No fancy plates but the portions were huge and the quality of the food was superb, and cooked just right. The fried rice was so moist and flavorful that it was one of the best I've ever had. And the meats and scallops were quality items and delicious. So much so that I didn't have to put any other sauce on them, but ate them as is, so juicy and tender. My friend did try the Yum Yum sauce over his Sesame Chicken and told me that this homemade sauce was the best. As we left, the lady owner made sure to thank us with a smile and say goodbye for coming. And invited us to come again in the near future. In conclusion, I take pleasure in sharing with the readers of my review, this gem of a restaurant, and highly recommend this restaurant as a place to go to enjoy an extraordinary dining experience with family or friends.

I don't want to be that person that's like "when I was in Japan..." but this is the BEST most AUTHENTIC Japanese food I've had since my last Japan trip. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen (added house spice) and had the agedashi dofu to start. I also got a classic highball which took me right back to a night out in Shinjuku. Everything was perfection. The highball was a great start to the meal and it just got better and better. The ramen noodles are fresh and cooked perfectly, the broth was flavorful and not too salty, the pork was perfectly cooked without too much fat. The agedashi was a perfect starter for a single diner. You get 3 cubes of fried tofu. The tofu is lightly fried so expect the inside to be juicy and soft. Staff were super friendly and communicated well. It was pretty busy when I got there around 6PM but the staff stayed attentive and courteous. This will be my go to dinner spot from now on. I'm going to tell all my coworkers about it!
