    Great view

Food was good but a little overpriced for what it was. We sat outside and the view over the golf lake was great at sunset. I definitely recommend doing that. If we come back I'll order off the sandwich menu rather than the steak/entree menu.

Great place for any occasion. The Tavern has several televisions to catch the games. There are several craft beers to choose. Devil's Backbone is fantastic. Wine list is impressive. Menu includes everything from wings to osso bucco. The Maples dining room has great views over the lake. Thursday features wine pairing menues. Warming: call first. This is a seasonal restaurant and fills up quickly too

Tavern Burger cooked medium with mushrooms, cheese, pickles and grilled veggies.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Will never spend money on raw food again. Service was well and mature about the situation. Very disappointed.

He made sure everything was perfect! We started off with the Cheese Sticks with both ranch dressing and marinara sauce! The marinara sauce was really good! The ranch dressing was too watered down for my taste!!! The cheese sticks were hot and fresh! Very gooey and good! He ordered the 13 Bones burger with fries. The burger had amazing flavor! The fries were a bit too salty, but they were perfectly cooked and served hot! I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with their homemade chips! I ordered an extra side of dressing for both my sandwich and the chips. I just cannot rave enough about how amazing my entire meal was! Those chips were PERFECT!!!! Already looking forward to our next visit! Most Sincerely, Dayla

It was very cold where we were sitting and the server allowed us to move to a warmer spot. We ordered a fried mushroom appetizer. This was very good. They came with ranch and I think it was the horseradish sauce. The orangish sauce was very good. I ordered 1/2 rack of dry ribs with mac & cheese and green beans, and 2 hushpuppies. You get a choice of Texas toast, hushpuppies, or rolls. My coworker ordered salmon. When the food came out, my ribs were wet. I told the server that I had ordered dry rub. He stated they were dry but had sauce on them. I'm sorry, that is not a "dry rib", in my opinion. The first piece of rib meat I ate was soft and juicy. The next two were super dry and I could not eat any more of them. My coworker joked that that was probably what they were referring to when they said "dry rub". The green beans were ok. I added a ton of pepper and some hot sauce. I saved the mac & cheese for lunch the next day. The hushpuppies were dense and needed a little more flavor. My coworker commented that her salmon was ok but nothing to write home about. I should have went with my first instinct and ordered from the kids menu. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is nice.

I'm a true southern girl and I was skeptical of messing with just salt and water for boiled peanuts....but let me tell you, the Cajun and local spices used to boil these were amazing....we ate every last one. Charcuterie- love their dedication to local products. Was a fan of everything except the ham...too gamey/smoky for me. What was lost on the ham was made up 100+ times on the bolognese special...tease my taste buds...creamy and spicy a true taste explosion and the tortellini was perfect. Paired with the Cabernet from Napa made a delightful dinner...left no room for dessert. I don't want to undermine the seasonal pasta...butternut squash with sunflower seeds linguine. It was delicious but paled in comparison to that bolognese. Service was terrific. Definitely worth a stop while at Primland (and whatever you do...don't miss the peanuts!)

Although it's tucked away in an unassuming business district, this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm, inviting space and exceptional service. Everyone made us feel welcome, and the attention to detail throughout our meal was outstanding. We started with the Ahi Tuna appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. It was served over a bed of crisp sliced cucumbers and the most amazing vinegar coleslaw. The combination of flavors was fresh, light, and memorable. Even the warm dinner rolls were outstanding and set the tone for the meal. For our entrées, the meatloaf was everything comfort food should be. It was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, served over creamy mashed potatoes with fresh French green beans. We also ordered the Chef's seasonal Squash Casserole, and it was phenomenal. If it's on the menu when you visit, don't miss it. Milner's way exceeded our expectations: wonderful food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere made for a memorable evening. We will absolutely make the trip back the next time we're in Winston-Salem.

We were able to park right up front. We made reservations and were seated right away. Our waiter, David, was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly knowledge about the menu, honest with his recommendations, personable, and very attentive throughout our visit. (Somebody give that man a raise!) The atmosphere was warm, sophisticated, and causal all at the same time. The dim lights created a nice ambiance without being so dark that you can't see. The dining room offers a mix of traditional tables, semi-private booths and a bar area. They also have a private room available. The bathroom was very clean and even smelled fresh. They had a good mix of music and a television is available at the bar. Now for the really important stuff. The food was absolutely amazing! I tried the Moravian cookie-pecan crusted salmon with collard greens, zucchini. The meal was a nice size and tasted amazing. I ate every bite. For dessert, we tried the White chocolate-almond bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream. I'm usually not a bread pudding kinda girl, but this was the exception. Like everything else, it was delicious. This was an awesome visit. HIGHLY recommend!

Start the meal off right with some Patatas Bravas. Double-fried potatoes with a tasty salsa and garlic aioli. Those went by quick! It's savory with a hint of spice. For the dinner service entrees, the real winner is the Fish and Chips. It's a huge battered haddock fillet over a bed of fries, accompanied by cabbage slaw and tartar sauce. Don't forget the malt vinegar to pair with the fries! The haddock was done perfectly, as it was both crispy and juicy. It was filling, but not over the top. Quality over quantity for sure. The chicken tikka masala is also a nice touch to the menu. A bit different from the rest, but not overly left of field. It was spiced to be flavorful but not overpowering. The chicken was nice and tender. The herb rice was decent, but still paired well as a sidekick to the tikka masala. Feeling desserts? Leave some space for the tuxedo cake. It's very rich and a solid bite to close out the meal. Shoutout to the wonderful waitress who executed everything without an issue. Reservations are recommended. I'll certainly be back.
