Yelp keeps asking me about my experience with this company for some reason. I get email after email from them asking me for a review so here it is. I contacted them via Yelp message because it said they had a 20 min response time and a 95% response rating on top of them having a 5 Yelp overall review rating. I asked for a quote on a project and waited for a response. I thought they would reply or call so that we could set up a time for them to come out and give me an estimate on the project. Well, 20 mins passed by, 30 mins, an hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, 2 days, 4 days 6 days and not a word. I eventually heard from them after I posted a pic of my ignored message. They apologized, they had excuses, blah, blah, blah and then said that they couldn't give me a quote without seeing the job. Really???? No s*!t Sherlock! Duh!!!! So, I chose to contact three other companies that responded post haste. That's my experience with Peach Plumbing! read more

We purchased new appliances for our kitchen and upon delivery discovered that we did not have the requisite water lines beneath our sink (the original builder of the house saved money by installing shite). We noticed our water bill had been steadily rising for a few months and decided to do some sleuth work. Turned the main water shutoff in my house and the meter was still moving - great - I knew the leak had to be somewhere between the street meter and my house main, probably underground. This was a crummy situation. I had no idea where to start and knew things could get expensive. I searched for plumbers in the area and noticed the overwhelmingly positive reviews for Peach online. So, I called Peach Plumbing Inc. late in the evening and left a short message explaining the problem hoping to hear back the next morning. Alex called me back within 5 minutes and we set up an appointment for the next morning I was avaliable at 8am. He was more than willing to explain the procedure he uses to locating and repairing these leaks and what options I would likely have. After quite a few hours in the morning diagnosing the location of this pesky leak he determined that the leak is under the foundation of my house. He was knowledgeable and helpful explaining the subpar polymers that builders used (eventual lawsuits) around the timeframe that my house was built and how they fail. We were able to reroute/run a new line the next weekend. Cost was reasonable. Alex was willing to work with me to run the line how I wanted. I also did not feel like I was in the way sticking around and helping out a little bit, which I liked. Overall, very satisfied customer. Everyone knows that sinking feeling when you think or know you have to get a leak fixed, and consequently, deal with a plumber. However, Alex is an ANGEL. I can't find the words needed to describe how amazing and professional he is. I thought there was a leak in my home, because I heard a dripping noise back behind the walls of my laundry room. My boyfriend and I were looking for a reliable and fair plumber in the area, and thank the heavens that Alex is in this area. He gave us a time slot of 2 - 4 PM, and normally, when a contractor gives a time slot you don't expect them to be at your house at the beginning of the time slot. Alex came right on time (at the beginning of the time slot), which was great, because I didn't have to wonder when he was going to show up. At first, Alex agreed that we had a leak, but after a little more observation he actually showed me that we didn't have a leak at all. Instead, it was just old plumbing. He also imparted a lot of knowledge while he was here about previous leaks and ceiling repairs. And on top of all that, he did a quick fix on a toilet we have downstairs that wouldn't flush unless you held the handle down. (He literally just put a tube back where it belonged.) And now, it flushes normally!! He has officially won my business for the rest of my life. If you're like me, and you're skeptical that any contractor could be this great. I can't say enough about Alex's promptness and honesty. We have a rental house in Acworth, GA and the tenants thought the shower was leaking. Alex came out the next day and ran the water in every sink and every shower for 20 minutes to see if he could identify the leak. He was confident there was no leak, but he noticed that some of the grout was cracking in our shower and recommended we find a grout person and DID NOT CHARGE US! I was amazed. Every plumber we've had in the past charged us just to show up. A few weeks later we had the grout fixed in the shower. The renters pointed out a leaking sound they heard in the ceiling. Alex came back out to our house a second time. He pointed out that CPVC pipes (which we had installed a few years before) can make that sound if they are not attached with the right type of hanger. Again Alex let us know his diagnosis and DID NOT CHARGE US. Since the shower was fixed we have not heard from the renters. At this point I can only assume that the issue was indeed the cracked grout and not a plumbing leak. If it does turn out that there is a leak I will definitely call on Alex again. After calling several plumbers we picked Peach Plumbing. We already had work done by Reliable Heating with our HVAC and It would have been nice to stay with one contractor and try their plumbing services, but even though we have given them thousands of dollars, they wanted money just to come out for a toilet install. Didn't think it was cool that they would charge an existing customer a fee!! The other company (Casteel) wanted $39.00 to come out, but, would not put that toward the work unless it was over $175.00. Not Cool! And, they wanted 250-480 dollars to install a toilet. Alex was much more affordable with his pricing. He was below Casteel prices. He was also out within a reasonable time to do the SAME work. Also, we were able to return a Moen Fawcett because he was able to fix/replace a line. Saved us the cost of the product and the cost of the install. Thanks Alex! You are now our plumber and the others lost out because they were greedy. read more

I called Alex for a kitchen sink replacement. I already had the necessary items and needed him to do the install. He was able to come out within two days and was very prompt. Told me he'd arrive between 11am and 1pm, he showed up at 11am. It only took him 1.5 hrs to do a full replacement, which included rewiring the garbage disposal. He was very polite, professional and did great work. His prices are also very reasonable.I will continue to use him for my future plumbing needs. Guessing most of the other Yelp reviews were written by friends and family of Alex. Worst experience ever! Rental home had a minor 3/4" copper pipe leak in basement. Called Alex to ask his hourly rate and see if he could do the job. Alex would not state and hourly rate - does pricing by the job so he can maximize his profits. Alex stopped by the home the next day and stated that all 40' of 3/4" copper pipe in basement should be replaced. He quoted the job at $700.00. He stated that there were multiple 90 degree bends and +/- 40' of 3/4" copper pipe. He stated the job would take him well over half a days work. Furthermore, he discovered a small leak in an upstairs Moen shower faucet. He said that he would replace with a new Moen shower faucet for an additional $150.00. Total now is $850.00. After slightly over 2 hours of work (verified by tenants), Alex was complete with the basement piping and shower faucet. Tenants and property manager discovered only one 90 degree bend in the piping and the upstairs shower faucet was still leaking. Alex stated that he had only replaced the Moen shower 'cartridge.' A $20.00 dollar part and 5 minutes of his time and it was still leaking. Upon questioning him about the fact that he had swindled a homeowner living in another state, he became extremely hostile and offered many threats! This plumber is all about maximizing his return and minimizing his time on the job with a complete lack of integrity..... Beware and choose another business!!! read more

I used Peach Plumbing, Inc to run a gas line to under my cooktop. Alex, the owner is honest, fair and prompt. Through email, we found a time that worked for both of us and he arrived on time and promptly provide a quote. This quote was 25% of the estimate (75% less) of a local larger Plumbing company and I went with it. He also told me where to expect holes in the basement ceiling for him to complete his work. His work was quick and he even found a more efficient method to install the gas line so he knocked down the price even more. I would recommend Alex without hesitation and will definitely call him again if I ever need a plumber. There is no incentive to write this review (coupons, gift card, etc). A few months ago I detected water streaming out of the siding of the back of the house. Although it was raining at the time, the exit point for the water didn't really make sense. I called up Peach Plumbers and Alex came out and after a short time was able to diagnose the issue - apparently one of the nails for the baseboard molding in our master bedroom punctured a plumbing pipe when it was reinstalled (over 2 years ago). Alex explained that its not uncommon for the seal between the nail and the pipe to hold for several years before compromising and causing leaking. He was able to repair the broken pipe for less than I was prepared to pay. After finishing the job, he informed me that the water pressure throughout the house was very high and the culprit was likely a blown pressure regulator. Although he offered to repair this for me at cost, he showed me how to go about doing the repair myself. A couple of days later I did just that and ultimately he saved me over $100. Awesome! But that experience didn't inspire me to write this review. About a month ago my parents also had a plumbing issue and they contacted me for a recommendation. I recommended Peach Plumbers immediately. Alex arrived at my parents and after 45 minutes or so, could not reproduce the issue or identify a cause. My dad got his checkbook out and Alex told him to put it away, in good conscious he wouldn't charge them if he hadn't done any work. A few days later my parents were able to reproduce the tricky issue and called Peach Plumbers back and the issue was corrected the second time. Despite needing a call back in that scenario, Alex demonstrated exceptional work ethic and work quality and after doing right by my parents I have to recommend them to everyone. read more
