It was after hours, and I didn't expect anyone to give me a call back until the morning. Within 5 minutes, the owner called me and wanted to know how he could help. Our downstairs had flooded due to the main water pipe bursting and we had to shut the water off to the house. He assured me his team would have it fixed quickly. By 6AM the next morning, two gentlemen showed up to assess the situation, and by 2pm we had a new water main and running water. While the service was simply outstanding, it is worth noting that I felt like I was being treated like a family member. I was a complete stranger to this man, and he helped me like my father would have if he were still alive. Troy and Sons are my plumbers, and they should be yours too. I contacted Troy and Sons Plumbing to investigate the cause of what appeared to be a water leak behind a bathroom wall in a home that I rent. I live out-of-state so it would have been expensive and time-consuming to investigate the problem myself. I was anxious to identify the problem quickly to avoid expensive repairs. They responded to my inquiry immediately and were very flexible in arranging the earliest appointment that fit the schedule of my renter. After arriving on time and completing his investigation, BJ called to let me know what he had found. I have some experience plumbing and remodeling, so I was able to ask him some very detailed questions, which he patiently answered. I knew from his answers that he had been extremely thorough in his investigation. As it turned out, there was not a plumbing leak after all. My only expense was a very reasonable service charge. We had 2 water heaters that needed to be replaced. I called Troy and Sons Plumbing. They set an appointment for the next morning. Norman came out and immediately identified the problem and that the water heaters were causing other problems in our home. I have been an Electrical Contractor for 25 years. I am always asked if I know a good, reasonable, and fair Plumber. My answer is usually, no. Troy and Sons gave us a great quote and completed the 2 water heater swap out and checked other items the same day. They were very professional and cleaned up behind themselves. I finally have a Plumbing Contractor that I can recommend. I think they went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy and satisfied. If there were more than 5 stars, I would give them more. I needed the leaking polyB service line replaced from the meter to my house. I contacted three top rated plumbers through Yelp. 1st estimate online was a little $$$; 2nd INSISTED they had to come out to quote, then didn't show! Troy & Sons estimated 17-33% less online, & came out 8am the next morning. Crew of three, all friendly guys focused on the task; job was done before noon. My front yard has nothing but a tidy little dirt line where they cut the trench. Cleanly backfilled; NO cutting into my driveway. Final price was 22% less than the 1st quote. Very satisfied; there's nothing like: A) a GOOD price, as estimated; and B) the person you CALL is the person ONSITE and shaking your hand when it's done. Troy & Sons went above and beyond the call of duty with our recent plumbing emergency! A tree on our property was struck by lightening and in the fall, damaged our main sewage pipe line. Troy was out to survey the issue, dropped all of his scheduled work for the day and he and his team worked endlessly on a extremely steep hill with heavy pipe and equipment to repair our plumbing issue and have us up and running in time for our 30+ guests arriving at 5pm the same day. Additionally, the team came into our center and assisted in making sure all toilets were operational and in good working order before leaving property,. Norman and Troy (and son) were extremely helpful and gracious especially the first time Norman came out to re-light the pilot light on my hot water heater tank and explained that I would eventually need to replace it due to its age. About a month later, the pilot light went out again (late Saturday night), so I opted to replace the tank and avoid another cold shower. Troy was very kind to return my call that evening and agreed to come out the next morning to change out my tank. I can't begin to tell everyone how pleased we are with Troy and Son's plumbing! We called late Thursday and they were here first thing Friday morning. We needed a bladder and vavlve replacement on our hot water heater. Troy took the time to explain everything even spoke with my home warranty agent to get everything taken care of. The work was done in less than an hour and at an amazingly low price! Troy was enough nice enough to replace a drain in our tub, he didn't have the part at that time but made sure to stop out later in the day to handle it. My toilet was backing up and I needed a repair. I wanted to use a business in my community, so I found Troy and Sons on Yelp, as they are located in Dallas. Scott came out and did an assessment and was conscious that a same day repair could potential do water damage to my floors, so he scheduled to come the next day. He was very polite and efficient. My toilet is running perfectly. He even looked at my low water pressure kitchen faucet and repaired it at no cost because it was a simple fix. Troy & Sons went above and beyond to provide great service. After several attempts at a DIY repair, we were unable to find the part that we needed, and finally decided to call in the experts. Troy & Sons scoured the Atlanta area for the part . . . found what we needed, picked it up and completed my repair in the same day.
